Mr. Bracklewood then introduced himself again. He introduced his sister Shyra Bracklewood and his friend Aston Venger. He then invited people to join the Adventurer's Society. He continued to follow sir Bracklewood. Shyra then told them to tell there names to Miss Arcamere. What was this place? He did not see what use it was to write down names in a small leather journal. He was clearly militarily which was a odd thing in its self. The militarily were well known for what they did. Now for someone to everyone might take some time, but he know everyone in a manner of hours when he joined the militarily. It helped him stay out of trouble. A man with rather simple clothing was before him in line. He then said his name was Bryce Hogalt. Miss Arcamere said greetings and what not. He stepped up to where Miss Arcamere was at. "Hello Miss Arcamere." It seemed like a rather odd thing to ask for names. He thought it would be better to let people come and say their name when they wanted to. To let them be, but he was sure there was a propose for it. Whatever the case he guessed he should tell her his name. "Name is Kevin, Kevin Stilt." He smiled at Miss Arcamere. "Is there anything else Miss Arcamere?"

She stood outside of Bracklewood Manor and watched person after person go into the manor. The last one to go in was a rather odd and old looking person. She watched the man slamming the door behind him. She walked up to the door not sure weather or not she should go in. Her mother always told her not to go into a strangers house. She stood there a few minutes waiting for people to move on. Her curiosity getting the best of her and she opened the door slipping in without anyone noticing her. She then moved into a different room to watch what was going on. She was far to shy to go out there with all those people.

"Ah, I see, that would explain it. In any case, welcome to the Adventurer's Society! Please step inside and give Lyra your name." Aston said, stepping to the side and gesturing indoors to welcome her in. A few more entered and gave Lyra their names. He saw the strange druid fellow shuffle in with his staff, but paid him little other attention and stepped inside with Sanderson. However, as he did so he noticed something odd. He noticed a young lady (Kara) who was, for lack of a better way of saying it, sneaking through the building. He hadn't spotted her entering, and he was at the door. She wasn't part of the Society, nor was she a servant of the Bracklewoods. Even if she was invited in, she probably wasn't mean to be going that way. Aston walked briskly after her and called out. "Excuse me good lady, but you shouldn't really be back here. The hall you're meant to be going to is down the corridor this way." This should determine whether she was meant to be here or not.
"And have you done as you were asked?" If she was meant to be here, then she'd know that she was meant to give her name to Lyra. If she didn't know then that would catch her out neatly.

It seemed the other man of the wilderness was one with a tongue of wit on him, given the attitude that he displayed towards the armoured one that had questioned him. Of course, there was no need for the armoured man to be so rude, but surely that did not merit a response in kind? He shrugged to himself. Perhaps that was simply the way of it in these parts. Aedan waited until it was his turn before moving up to the woman he presumed was Lyra. He pulled his hood down for politeness' sake and smiled in a friendly manner. He bowed his head respectfully.
"My name is Aedan Maedoc." He introduced himself simply and with another respectful nod, he continued into the next room they were meant to go to. There was quite a variety of people here, that was for sure.

    Shyra Bracklewood

Shyra looked at the group with an attentive gaze, she noticed a couple of girls decided not to follow the rules and split off on their own, Aston was dealing with one of them and Shyra turned on the other
"If you're here to join the Adventurer's Society you'll have to tell Lyra your name, we don't just let any strangers in" Shyra stated sternly, but she could see this girl was quite shy and didn't necessarily want to face the group, Shyra sighed "Oh very well, just tell me your name and move on to the hall, there's food ready"

Once inside Badun spied a small line of people standing before a finely dressed young woman who appeared to be taking down their names. Down the corridor he could see to girls who were being addressed somewhat sternly, by who he could only assume were the runners of this society. They must have attempted to sneak in, thinking that their motive required such an act. Badun was never so overt, if he wanted to get in somewhere he shouldn't he'd insure everyone believed he should be there. Ensuring not to draw attention to himself, he approached the lady and merely stated "The name is Badun Povey, I assume the society meeting's through this way?"
"Indeed it is sir" Lyra responded, the man before her seemed unsavory. From his demeanor, Lyra gleamed he was a serpent of a man who surely had many less observant individuals fooled. She assured herself she'd keep an eye on him.
Badun walked down the corridor and entered the hall where a small group appeared to be gathering. Badun placed his pack down and took a seat awaiting the main event.

A small victory had been won by Iris as she had found out just who Sanderson was. Iris continued to listen onward as the man introduced three others who seemed to help him with running the group of soon to be adventurers, only to then be told that they needed to hurry inside. As such, she waited for others to pass by her, giving their name to the bookkeeping girl. Walking over to her, after a somewhat different looking individual had entered the house, she bowed to the girl and with a pleasant smile on her face said, "a pleasure to meet you Miss Arcamere. My name is Iris Dagaz, and I look forward to journeying with you as well." With that, she strolled inside to take her seat with all of the rest of the people who had come to the society.

"Yes sir." Anthea responded in a quiet obedient tone, as she followed Aston's signal to head inside. The young girl waited nervously for her turn to go talk to the woman, Lyra, that she was instructed to speak to. When it was her turn she approached shyly, keeping her eyes to the ground. "Hello, my name is Anthea Romero. I was told to come to you and tell you my name." Anthea explained. She wasn't so used to being out like this or really having to talk to people except Garson and the other servants around his manor. It was clear the girl was not well educated in social graces, but it also showed that she was trying her best to follow what she believed that she should do.

"Please do not call me that. I am by no way fancy, noble or anything along those lines. I am simply a former city guard, now here to join this... Adventurer's Society. My name is Laurentinus, if you don't mind calling me that instead." Laurentinus explained, clearly not please with the choice of name given to him. Was it really that wrong that the sound of metal dragging was annoying? He realized he could have mentioned it in a nicer tone, but still, was it really that bad to comment on it?

As he thought about it Laurentinus heard Sanderson request they go inside and give someone their names. He supposed he should follow instructions instead of arguing with someone else. Perhaps if he did that, they would get fed soon, like promised. In all honesty Laurentinus was on the easily annoyed side because he was hungry and hadn't actually had anything to eat all day.

Approaching the woman he was supposed to talk to Laurentinus straightened up like he was about to talk to a commanding officer.
"My name is Laurentinus Quick. Former city guard, requested to join this Adventurer's Society. Pleased to meet your acquaintance." Laurentinus rattled off what he believed to be standard introduction type thing. He assumed it would be similar here to how he was supposed to introduce himself to a superior in the guard.

    Baldomar Ererim

So the man gave his name and asked him to be called by that. "
Well if that works for you, fine by me, Laurentinus." He said and waited patiently in line and did as he was instructed, seeing he wasn't an entirely unreasonable person. When it was his turn he spoke up "Baldomar Ererim." he kept it with that, didn't know any better and telling people it was a pleasure to meet them seemed such an odd thing to do was everyone but him able to see the future and predict the outcome of the meeting of a person? For all they knew everyone would backstab each other and how were those pleasant people? He just walked on, tempted to drag the hammer across the floor boards but deciding against it. He went on his way to inspect the food he had heard mentioned, seeing he had been traveling for quite a while and not always had had a decent meal. Hammer hunting deer was an art and one he was reasonably good at, but even that didn't guarantee a good meal every day.

Lumen took notice to Sanderson and his sister for personal reference as he greeted the newly formed adventurer society. Whether or not it was official at this point or not, Lumen didn't know, but that wasn't going to stop him at all. Following the crowd of people inside, he made his way towards Ms. Arcamere when whoever was in front of in had given their name and approached her. "I'm Lumen Seiker, nice to meet you." Having gotten that out of the way, he walked over towards the dinning hall with everyone else and found himself someplace to sit.

Within the Dining Hall is a large banquet table with 20 seats. Upon the table are many assorted pastries including cakes and scones, as well as some fruit bowls filled with local fruits. Several teapots, accompanied with milk and sugar and teacups, are laid on the table. Several decorative candles and flowerpots are scattered around. At the head of the table is a large ornate seat clearly meant for Sanderson.

People currently in the Dining Hall:
Bryce, Aedan, Badun, Iris, Baldomar, Lumen, Arthur, Kevin, Anthea, Laurentinus

    Do what you want guys

Artie, never being one for big entrances, slipped in quietly and stood near the corner, hands in pockets. He wasn't ready to interact with these strangers just yet. He had always been quite level-headed, taking a step back before taking any action. He would keep watch for a while and observe these other adventurers before making his next move.

After a few minutes he had gathered that the others were signing their names before heading through into another room. Happy that this was the case Artie made his way to the woman who appeared to be taking the names. When the woman turned to him he simply uttered "Arthur McKinnon." Not wanting to appear unfriendly he gave the woman a small grin before he was ushered into the next room.

Artie walked into what was clearly the dining room and took a seat close to the head of the table. He was interested in getting to know the man that brought him here.

The voice that followed her down belong to a man. Clearly one with authority, going by the way he speaks. Kara thought, somewhat scathingly. Have I done as you asked? Not bloody likely. She halted in her stride, thinking on how to respond. He didn't sound very approving, and he called her a good lady. Good. She sighed, plastered a smile on her face, and turned, offering a tiny curtsy. She hated curtsies. "Of course, ser. In case they didn't tell you, my name is Kara. I was just looking for the restroom. Terribly long journey, and all that." Her stomach grumbled, and she pressed a hand to it, mentally telling the organ to shut its mouth. "If you don't mind pointing me in the right direction?" She asked, trying to be charming. It rarely worked. She just wasn't a charming person.

Besides. She wasn't here to make friends. She was here to get food. And maybe some other things too.

Bryce decided to sit in a chair. A slightly uncomfortable looking chair, but a chair nonetheless. He didn't feel like eating, at the moment. Despite his calm demeanor, his stomach was twisting in knots. He wasn't used to being around quite this many people, and to be honest, he had no idea what to expect from any of this.

He waited for Miss Arcamere to say something. She did not which was rude, but what you going to do. With her not saying anything there was no point to stick around. "I will be going now Miss Arcamere." With that he walked into the Dining Hall. He was not sure what to do now. So far the Adventurer's Society was not looking to promising. One thing for sure it was nothing like the militarily. The Adventurer's Society was, he did not know, but he would find out if he decided to stay. He was not to happy about how things were going so far. If this was a sign of things to come then nothing was good would come of it. He guessed that these people or this girl did not have the same background as he did nor did anyone else. He then looked around the Dining Hall. It was filled with large banquet table with 20 seats. Looking around he guessed that more people would be coming. On the table there was various foods to eat. He did not take any of it. It seemed rude to take food and eat it without everyone not sitting. He guessed he would wait for more people to show up.

She stood in a room watching the various people tell a woman their name then walk into a bigger Dining Hall. That was when a women came up from behind her. She turned around to look at the women, but ended up looking at her own feet instead. That was when the women said 'if you're here to join the Adventurer's Society you'll have to tell Lyra your name, we don't just let any strangers in' She look up at her face, and she looked quite angry. "Please, do not hurt me." She looked, back down at her feet. "I was just, I was just.." She was unable to think right. "I want to find out more about magic." She finally let out. That was when the women asked for her name. "You are not going to tell my mother I am here are you?" The fear of her mother finding out where she went was frightening. She would not be able to find out about magic. "Please do not do that. All I want to do is find out about magic." Then is a mumbled and shyly way she said, "Alice."

After giving the woman her name, Anthea slowly, nervously wandered into the dining hall. She looked around at everything on the table, presumably for them. Slowly she approached the table and picked up the pot of tea. She began to pour enough cups for the people in the room. It wasn't her job to serve here, but she couldn't slip from her old habits. The girl slipped between the people, agile and quiet, keeping herself as unnoticed as possible, as she placed poured cups of tea on the table near each person. When all the cups were placed for the people, she finally picked up one of her own.

With cup in hand Anthea looked around for a place to hide. She normally would retreat to the kitchen at this time, enjoy the extra tea the cook always made for the servants and keep out of the way. However that was not an option here. She was forced to take a tea from the table, no matter how uncomfortable that made her feel, and then she couldn't go back to the kitchen, since she was no a servant of this manor. Finding her way to a darker corner of the room, Anthea stood in the shadows, back pressed against the wall, but not leaning on it, instead she kept up her posture. The young girl silently sipped on her drink and watched for anyone else to come in the room that she might end up serving. For now she supposed this was the best that she could do with herself.

Laurentinus didn't hesitate to walk away after giving his name. He had no problem moving into the dining hall, where a table full of food waited. He took a seat near the corner of the table and let his eyes wander over the assortment of food. He wondered if he was allowed to eat any yet, or if he was supposed to wait for the others. Feeling his stomach rumble, he looked around, really hoping someone else was about to dig into the food as well. He had heard Sanderson mention that he believed the food was ready, so perhaps... Not wanting to embarrass himself, Laurentinus straightened his posture and did his best to hide his longing for the food set before him.

Nodding his thanks when a young woman place a cup of tea in front of him, Laurentinus began to sip on it, hoping that would help his hungry stomach. At first he paid no mind to the person who gave him the tea, then he remembered seeing her at the door. Part of him wondered what she was doing here now. He assumed it was just someone else invited to the society, but she seemed to be trying to hide and had the mannerisms of a servant, not a warrior, or adventurer of any sorts. This was just great. They would have to take care of her wouldn't they? Just another burden. Of course Laurentinus didn't say any of this, he simply sat, sipping his tea until they were given permission to eat. He wondered what sort of other poor saps he would have to take care of here. He didn't like the thought of going along with people who couldn't handle themselves, but a quick glance around the room and thinking of the people he saw thus far, he felt like there was going to be a few that he would have to. He wouldn't let any of them die, he had promised himself that. But didn't make it any more appealing to keep an eye on them.

There was something off about the way she acted. Maybe it was the sickeningly sweet tone, perhaps it was the way her stomach grumbled with hunger when she was speaking to him. In fact, most damningly, she asked where the bathroom was and was sneaking off when she really could have just asked before she started going places that she clearly wasn't meant to be going.
"It's this way, down the corridor. You seem to have taken a wrong turn Miss Kara." Aston raised an eyebrow. "Allow me to escort you. It's easy to get lost in the Bracklewood Manor when you don't know where you're going." He stepped to the side and gestured for him to walk next to him with a gracious smile. Something about her seemed massively off. He got the impression that he didn't want to let her out of his sight, especially given that their instructions were pretty clear and going the wrong way when she could have asked Lyra if she really needed to go to the bathroom just seemed plain suspicious. He'd ask Lyra on the way over there. If she recognised this Kara, then there wouldn't be any undue reason for trouble and he would make his apologies. Of course, if she didn't then...

Bryce noticed Anthea passing out tea, and looked down at his own cup. Hell, he might as well get it over with. He stood, cup in hand, before walking over to her. "Thank you, miss. It was very kind of you to give this to me." He set the cup down in order to remove his helmet with both hands, before setting the helmet on the table, within eyesight, and picking up the cup of tea again, taking a sip. "What made you decide to perform such a kind act?" He asked, running a free hand through his hair. Helmet hair was the worst. "I'm Bryce. I take it you are here for the Adventurer's Society as well?" It was a dumb question, but he felt the need to make conversation with someone, anyone. Well, anyone who didn't know him or judge him.

Shit. He was on to her. She swore impressively, though kept it confined in her mind as she inclined her head slightly, and started walking next to him. Besides just trying to bolt, she wasn't really sure exactly what she could do. Think think think. There's always a way out. You just have to take it. "You're quite the suspicious fellow." Kara remarked. "I don't believe I caught your name." She was stalling, yeah. Stalling while her brain raced for a way out of this. Dammit she hated being trapped. And then she figured it out. Clever girl. Perfect.

Anthea got a little nervous when a man in a helmet approached her. He thanked her, that was pretty standard and an easy response, but before she could respond he continued to speak. When he finished Anthea didn't really know what she was supposed to say. She was comfortable with a life as a servant, but what would others think of her as soon as she told them. She supposed it didn't really matter. However another issue was, how to explain she did it because she was a servant and trying to make herself useful while explaining she wasn't a servant here and didn't actually have to, instead she was just a part of the Adventurer's Society.

The girl took a sip of her tea, stalling to calm her nerves before she began to speak.
"Your welcome sir." She first responded with a slight bow of her head. By this point the man had taken his helmet off and was slightly less scary. He actually had a kind face to him, but she was still nervous. "Why did I do it? I am just used to serving people and I don't know what to do with myself if I am not. I guess I just did it because it was more comfortable for me to do that then sit at the table." She explained, her voice quiet and she spoke a little too quickly due to her nerves. "But yes, my master sent me to join the Adventurer's Society, showing his support for it. My name is Anthea Romero." Anthea explained before taking another sip of tea. The entire conversation she had kept her eyes averted, force of habit. She didn't feel herself on equal level with anyone in this room so she didn't feel like she had right to make eye contact. She was just a servant after all, even if she was a well trained servant in the arts of magic and dark incantations.

Shyra sighed at the pathetic display, this girl was clearly not adventurer material. If Shyra ran the organisation she would have slammed the door on the girl before she even came in. But Sanderson wanted to accept everybody, so Shyra supposed she would have to control herself "I don't even know your mother" She protested "You want to learn more about magic? Well I suppose this place is cheaper than a university. I guess I can teach you a bit about magic. Do you even know runes? Can you read magic? Probably not" Shyra sighed again "look, uh, why don't you just run off to the dining hall and have a cake" Some of these recruits would take a lot of training, it seemed.

"Please, help yourselves! I insist!" Sanderson exclaimed as he strolled into the hall "We're still waiting for a few stragglers, but some of your have come all the way from the other side of Tyrrus, you must have worked up an appetite!" Picking up a pastry Sanderson took a bite of it before sitting heavily down in his large chair "Miss Anthea, that was your name correct? Don't feel obligated to pour us tea" Sanderson chuckled "We have a servant for that, Chesters!" Sanderson called loudly
"Yes sir?" A tall, grim man appeared silently, so silently that nobody even noticed his arrival until he spoke
"Greetings, could you perhaps serve our guests?" Sanderson grinned "Anthea, my good lady, we already pay someone to serve us, here you don't have to be a servant, we're all equals, relax! Have some tea! Have a scone, they're very good, Chesters cooked them himself"
"Indeed" The dark haired man stated. He kept a perfectly emotionless expression throughout the conversation "We seem to have more guests than anticipated, shall I bring some more cakes and tea?"
"Please do, my good man" Sanderson gestured for him to do so, turning back to the group he sipped at his tea and addressed them all "Please do sit down, I must say I applaud your eagerness, but what brings you to the Adventurer's Society?"

The first thing that Lumen did upon entering the dinning hall was to find himself a place to sit, then he started to look around at everything that was set up for them. It was quite impressive just how much had been set up for this, but it was the first meeting of the Adventurers Society after all. So going all out for this occasion was quite understandable.

Since Lumen's attention was being focused on looking around at everything that was set up, he didn't notice Anthea when she had first poured his tea. Thus when he saw the cup of tea in front of him, he was a bit confused as to where it came from. That was when he noticed Anthea pouring tea into someone else's cup. While he was grateful, he found her doing so odd since he thought that she too was hear to be a part of the society like the rest of them. Either way, planned on thanking her once she was doing talking to the person she was speaking with now. For now he casually took a sip of the tea as he thought about what to snack on first.

After having given her name, Iris followed the long line of people through the house and into the dining hall. Walking towards the table, her eyes lit up at the sight of everything, though most importantly, at the sight of the food. Walking with a skip in her step, Iris eventually made it to the table, sat down and didn't bother to look around to see if anyone else was going in to eat it just yet. Reaching across the table to grab a scone, she put it in her mouth as she started to chow down on it, and noticed that Sanderson had taken his seat as well, asking something from a man that she hadn't even noticed having existed until this point.

As she then swallowed down the rest of what was in her mouth with a quick sip of tea, which had apparently already been poured at her seat, she then turned her attention back to Adventurer Society's leader as he asked a question.
"Well," she started her answer, "I've always had this feeling of just wanting to find new things, not to mention meeting new people is always a good time as well. And what better place to find these new things then a place built on adventures?" After giving her brief and uninformative answer, she then went back to happily eating more of the scones.

She smiled when Shyra said 'I don't even know your mother' That was a good thing. Shyra then asked her something about learning more magic. That it was cheaper then going to school for it. She did not even know there was a school for it. Shyra then said she would teacher her some magic. "Thank you." Shyra then asked her if she even knew about runes. "I am not sure what that is." Shyra then asked her if she could read magic? She was not sure what to say to that. Read magic? Was it on paper, with letters or something? She never heard of reading magic before. She guess this was a perfect spot to learn. That was when Shyra told her to go into the dinning hall and get some cake. "Thank you again" She then bowed to the women and left her to her thoughts. She walked into the dinning hall. There was a large banquet table with 20 seats around it. She now did not know what to do with her self. Sanderson Bracklewood then told people to take a seat, but she did not know which one to sit in. What if she took a seat someone was going to sit in? That simply would not do. That was when she noticed a young looking girl, (Anthea). She thought about talking to her, but saw that she was already talking to someone so decided not to do anything.

He was in the dinning hall looking at the various things in the room. That was when Sanderson Bracklewood then told people to take a seat. Who was he to argue about that. He found a seat and sat in it. Mr Bracklewood then asked what brought people to the Adventurer's Society. Before he could say anything a women said something close to traveling. He just sat there and did not say anything. It seemed rude to interrupt people that were talking.
