She managed to make it to the other side of the cavern. She made it relief crossed her mind. Wait where was Lumen? She turned around and saw that the was a giant spider on top on Lumen. How did that even happen? Spiders would attack them or they would trigger them somehow. She was going to attack he spider, but for some reason she had no attacking spells and really Garrett had no idea how that happened. Maybe there was something missing or something. No wonder she had been completely useless. She did not have anything that would even hurt a fly. With the confusion of her not having anything that would be helpful here past her looked at Lumen with regret. "I am sorry", she whispered. She stood there with a hopeless look on her face. Rocks began to move around her not knowing what was going on, it just did. She watched as rocks first went towards the spider that Lumen was by then rocks went toward Lumen himself. She had no idea what was going on and only hoped that they would get out of this alive. Lumen.

    Alice did:
Crag on square awake spider is on (4 ap)
    stoneskin on Lumen (5 ap)
    9/10 ap used

With talk with Russel going on more information was told. It looked like he was right about the whole mercenary group, assassin group. Really it was not all that surprising. With Aston not saying anything to him there was not much to do. He just stood there not saying anything mostly, because there was not much to say. They were going to look for some valuable. Then at some point they would enter the tomb and then some idiot would trigger some trap and the next thing they would be doing is running from some giant bolder or something.

    Big Game Hunting
    Fordington Survivor's Camp, Dragonvale:

Sanderson smiled calmly at the man who approached on his horse "Oh worry not, my good man. I think there's a misunderstanding here, we've been called in by his Lordship Ulysses Emirys to help with the drake problem" Sanderson greeted "May I introduce you to the Adventurer's Society, I am Sanderson Bracklewood, chairman of the society. These are my colleagues, Bryce and Lyra" he gestured to his friends "Would you like to sit and eat with us, good chap? We intend to fight this drake infestation in the morning"

"And I would join him! Never liked dragons, or their spawn! You know what the dragons did to my forest? Burned it down! That great bloody fire dragon! And I never trusted Zythia either" Greenbeard grumbled "But this Winter fellow is disrupting the environment, they're worse than the drakes!"
"Winter man make things cold! Winter man make winter last too long!" The drake explained, but now he looked hungrily at Aedan "You look tasty!"

    Darklight Disturbance
The Mines, Arak'Un, Darklight Caverns, the Sunset Mountains:
As Tessa grew the grass in those patches of soil something incredible happened. Firstly, water began to drip from the eyes of the weeping statues, watering the plants. The massive stone door slowly slid open, tearing the magic web. "Brilliant!" Rayyad exclaimed "It seems we can go through peacefully now, well done guys" Rayyad congratulated. He then turned to Conrad "The Spritweavers? They have powerful magic and control over spirit spiders. But they're slow" Rayyad explained, walking backwards through the cave entrance. Unfortunately, a single strand of magical web remained, and Rayyad stumbled straight into it. He quickly tried to shake it off, but the damage was done. The strand snapped and the eight eyes above them glowed brighter. Slowly, a titanic shape began to crawl down the wall. Its legs became visible in the dim light, blue skin. "Oh by the gods I'm so sorry" Rayyad stammered as the huge spider slowly came towards them.

Rayyad's House, Arak'Un, Darklight Caverns, the Sunset Mountains:
Shadowweaver shrugged, he could barely understand the humans but they were asking about their friends. Shadowweaver's mind tried to communicate with Rayyad, when suddenly he was intercepted. The spider let out an ear-splitting shriek that echoed around the ancient city, and his eyes flickered from their normal red to a violent blue, as if the creature was fighting it. The spider fell to its knees and held its front legs against the sides of its head. It continued to wriggle and shriek for some time
"Intruders!" A ghostly voice called out, reverberating around the cavern "You shall be destroyed! None should be allowed within this sacred land! Rayyad is weak, and has forgotten his purpose"

Bryce wasn't amused by the man on the horse creature. He seemed...not nice. And he called them citizens. What kind of a person did that? Bryce looked to Sanderson, and his muttonchops, to respond. And Sanderson did.
Bryce turned to look at the man, his face saddened. "We're colleagues?" he asked softly. "Not friends?" Clearly, he had overstepped his boundaries here. For
Sanderson to consider them less then friends, well...Goodbye, suspicious sideburns. We can no longer be wary of one another.

He turned his sad gaze to the
stranger. "I'm Bryce. I am a colleague." He intoned, suddenly depressed. "If you want to rob us, you might as well take everything. It's only for colleagues, anyway."

Before Tessa could point out the fact, Rayyad stumbled into the left over web. She cringed as the eyes appeared, the giant spider slowly coming towards them. "Men." Tessa swore, rushing forward to grab Rayyad and pull him away from the enemy. "I swear, I would have gotten into less trouble with Kara around." She looked around for Conrad, hoping the warrior was as prepared as she; as much as she was ready to defend her friends, she wouldn't be able to withstand the damage like he would.

Kara meanwhile, was patiently waiting for answer when Shadowweaver fell to its knees. She rushed towards it, hands hovering above the spiders hairy body as she cringed, the ear piercing wail nearly rupturing her ear drums. "What's wrong?!" She cried, desperately wanting to do something, anything, other then watch her newfound friend suffer. That was when the voice echoed in the chasms above her.

"If you want to fight us, then fight us! Don't hide behind
Shady! It did nothing to you! Don't be a coward and hurt my friend!" She yelled up into the ceiling, furious. "I don't know who this Rayyad is, but I bet he's better then you!" She didn't actually know, or really think that (it was poor practice to judge someone before meeting them, she found), but she just wanted to make the strange voice, whoever it was come out and show himself, not make Shadowweaver suffer for his apparent penchant for drama.

"Wait, a big dragon burning down a forest? And not trusting Zythia? What are you talking about Greenbeard? There haven't been dragon sightings around Tyrrus for years I thought." Aedan inquired. He looked at the old man quizzically. "And what do you know about Zythia anyway? I can't imagine that you've met her to get to know her personally." This line of conversation was interrupted by the drake. It seemed that the Winter Man was some kind of sorcerer, powerful enough to affect the weather. Unfortunately, they had been standing around too long and it was now feeling hungry. And apparently, he looked tasty. He looked down at himself. He was thin. I imagine the mayor of the town is probably eating more food than everyone else so he would probably make a good meal but me? No. He did not transmit that thought to the drake. If he was that careless then it could be bad. Instead, Aedan looked at it disapprovingly.
"I am not tasty. I am very thin. And I will get rid of the Winter Man if you stop eating people. Then Winter can end properly and you can have your bears and your deer back." Aedan reasoned. He had to stop to consider the next bit of phrasing. How did you explain a gun to a drake? "Also, if you don't stop eating humans men with thundersticks and long pointy sticks and magic will come to eat you. No more eating bears and deer for you, and no more drakes. So, we will get rid of the Winter Man so that men with thundersticks, long pointy sticks and magic don't come to kill you, and you don't eat humans while we're doing that. Okay?" He didn't know whether Drakes could really be trusted, but at this point he had no idea how else to reason with it.

    Fogwarden coming tomorrow.

Laurentinus was pacing the house a bit when there was a noise that caused him to cover his ears and wince. Looking up he noticed that the Spider that had helped them seemed to be in pain or something himself. Drawing his sword Laurentinus prepared himself for whatever was to come. He wasn't challenging the shadowweaver that had been so nice to them. He was just instinctively getting ready for anything that might threaten him... But more importantly Kara.

Stepping back outside the house Laurentinus held his sword in front of him. He was not going to hide from the threat and he wasn't going to let it hurt them or the shadowweaver.
Kara had already taken care of challenging the voice, so he had to be ready if it took up the offer, and knowing their luck it would. "It will be okay buddy. We will take care of this thing that is hurting you. You will be fine." He spoke calmly to the spider, trying to keep it calm as he patted it. Now he just had to wait, ready for anything, to see what would come of this.

Sebastian was strangely flattered by the words Sanderson chose to use to invite him to eat with them. It seemed like the man understood how glorious he was. How much the gods shined down on him. Though who wouldn't see that? Then the other man known as Bryce spoke up. "I am not going to rob you my good man. You see I too was hired by the man who hired you people. I am supposed to protect the city, so I suppose that can fall under what you are doing. You know what. I think it would be a pleasure to join you for a meal, and then perhaps in the morning you would allow me to join you on your hunt." Sebastian suggested.

The statues started weeping as Tessa grew the grass beneath them, the door opened up ripping most of the threads apart. Rayyad congratulated both of them and he hadn't done a thing. "That was all Tessa, credit where it's due, mate." He said, he took in the information about the spiritweavers and didn't particularly like what he was hearing, when Rayyad tripped and Tessa swore, he knew what was gonna come next, especially after Tessa's earlier explanation. "Well, she ain't here right now, so you'll have to do this with me." Conrad remarked as he placed himself between Tessa and the approaching spider. He didn't like it one bit, especially after all the things they had seen and been told about this place. He'd rather be anywhere but here, but he couldn't let his friends down, after all he was to look after them as to wolf wasn't he? He prepared himself for the coming fight, glancing at his new blade for a moment, it was time to try it out.

As to be expected, one should never trust RNG. The spiders had noticed them and now they pretty much had no choice but to fight. Lumen drew his weapon and before he could do anything, rock started to fly. Some rocks flew towards the spider that they were fighting, other flew towards Lumen. Once more he wasn't sure what it was she was planning on doing but regardless of however many rocks were hitting him, he attacked.

Suddenly, all accross Tyrrus everyone was suddenly interrupted mid-mission. In the caves, by the town of Fordington, in the woods of the North, a booming voice resonated around the world
    [IMG]

"Foolish Mortals!" It boomed "Your lives are insignificant compared to I, Betrayer of hope! Tormentor of Characters! All across the land I am known as The One Who Likes Necromancy, I am RELATIVELY SANE! THE DUNGEONMASTER!" People screamed as the voice spoke, the bravest men quivered in their boots, even the most determined characters cowered away from that horrible voice, it spoke with intense Britishness, it had undertones of evil and seemed excited to torment all RPers everywhere. It was a voice that plotted and had plans for everyone

"I have grown bored of this! Thusly, I have decided to mix things up a little!" It explained, all around Tyrrus people seemed to appear from thin air "I summon thee, Mogdor the Troll, The Hive, The High King of Aryndark, The Technomancer, Solomon, Masque, Scarlet Nightborne, King Archon, Doctor Saturday, Zaikerik the Betrayer!" The voice exclaimed with glee "To create, Chaos unending!"

Undead crawled out of the ground in hordes, commanded by Mogdor, the High King, Solomon and Zaikerik. The Hive, King Archon and Scarlet warped the minds of even the bravest and forced them under their will. The Technomancer drove armies of mechanical creatures across Tyrrus, ravaging the land. Masque brutally murdered, left and right, in artistically violent compositions, Doctor Saturday just stood around plotting. It was chaos for the world of Tyrrus, none could hope for survival.

"Wowowowow RelativelySane, you're intruding on my territory there." RNGesus said "I AM THE TRUE BETRAYER OF HOPE!" RNGesus got right down to business and took out a golden D20 "So you want to summon all of them right? Okay let's do this." RNGesus rolled the golden dice, it moved so fast that the result was only visible once it stopped..... RNGesus looked at RelativelySane the DM "DM or not, that's a one and you know what that means." It seemed his duty here was done and RNGesus rose up to the heavens again and as he rose he looked down at the people of Tyrrus and the RP'ers "Don't forget to get your hopes up." And thusly the mighty RNGesus saved the day from the evil predations of RelativelySane the DM.

"Ah yes, very good Christina." Kellan replied, completely ignoring the fact that she said her name was Anthea. It didn't matter in the slightest to him. He probably wouldn't even hang around with these guys (Apart from Baldy, who always seemed to fall into his life no matter how hard he tried to run) ever again, so it didn't matter. Besides, Christina was a much nicer name than Anthea. "Thank you Russell, conveniently useful scout that you are! We shall be going! Phillius awaits!" He started walking away and stopped. He didn't actually know which side of the forest they had come from. He was lost. He sighed. Damn this enthusiasm getting in the way of my thinking.
"Anthea," Aston began, clearly emphasising her name. "Which is the way back to the path?" He noticed that Russell waved at them and sprinted off into the woods in a direction. He wasn't sure where the scout was going, and he didn't know if the scout was sure where he was going either.

    Elsewhere...

"Come along now, be nice. It'll be easier if you don't struggle." Grunted a Burning Blade Thug as he and his partner pulled a man between them. The man had a quiver of arrows and a longbow over his shoulder, and for some reason he was hanging around this part of the Hinterlands. That just wouldn't do. For all they knew, he could be with Kellan. That meant the boss would want to see him.
"Yeah, we'll only kick you around a bit if you just stay still!" They were a little distance away from Fogwarden Keep, but they could afford to take their time. Besides, they might be able to shake down this little squishy fella for his money. Although, neither of them had the inspiration to actually do that.
"You know, I haven't seen Russell for ages." One of them realised.
"That idiot? Who cares? Pissed himself and ran away at the sight of a few little doggies." The two of them chuckled. "Oi you, you seen our Russell around?" They looked at Roric with their little piggy eyes and a brutish grin on their faces.

"Relax! I was just passing through when you lot just jumped me. I don't know who this Russel fellow is but I would appreciate it if you would stop pushing me around." Roric narrowed his piercing blue eyes at the two who shoved him forward. He should have known bandits and thugs still roamed these parts. If he hadn't been so distracted looking for herbs to forage he would have seen them coming but the more he thought about it, the more frustrated he became. He sighed out, knowing there was no point now in thinking about the past. He was here now and had to figure out some method of escape. Or he would have to hope some travelers would cross their path and come to his aid. He chuckled under his breath at the thought.

    "
Did you two ever hear the one about the Man from Varewyn? See, the man from Varewyn was a very short tempered man. Every day, a young woman pesters this man for money. Every day he gives her one gold coin. The woman thinks to herself, hm, would it not be better just to steal from this man and have it all to myself? And so she knocks the man over his head and breaks into his home. She finds his chest where he keeps his gold and upon gripping the latch, she falls over. Dead! You see, the man from Varewyn was a very paranoid man. He made sure to lace everything he had of value with a poison to which only he was immune. Honestly... It's not a very funny story but it does teache one to beware of the unassuming." Rorric turned away, smirking, and allowing himself to be led forward by the two brutes.

    Fordington Survivor's Camp, Dragonvale:

Sanderson smiled to Bryce "'Colleague' merely means we work together, we can be friends as well old sport!" he said "Sit with us, old chap! I hope you like steak. Can I ask your name?" Sanderson asked as he invited the man on the horse. After a moment, Sanderson took out a green potion and examined it warily. He sat there for a moment with a deciding expression.

Old man Greenbeard looked at Aedan with narrowed eyes. "Haven't you read up on any history, boy!? Salvakoryn burned down this forest in the Second Dragon War and it's never fully recovered. And I may not know her personally but I can still have an opinion!" he then poked Aedan lightly with his stick "You need to learn not to poke your nose into other people's business! It'll get you in trouble at some point. But these are just the ramblings of an old man" he muttered into his beard.
"Hisss! I will come back! I will have my food!" the drake hissed, as it scuttled away into the undergrowth.
"You'd better tell your friends about this "Winter Man". They seem dangerous. And the sooner we can get those drakes back into the mountains, the better"

Shadowweaver turned rapidly, eyes glowing blue. Ren's hand was very close to him, he snapped forward and his great teeth and mandibles clamped down on Laurentinus's fingers. Those razor teeth pierced through the metal and into the man's fingers, pumping a burning acidic poison into his blood. The poison caused sheer agony to Laurentinus as it burned through his veins. Shadowweaver turned, slipping on his legs, and scuttled away at speed, towards the palace.

Anthea simply looked away when Kellan got her name wrong once more. She didn't care what he called her, but in the end it didn't help the fact she was trying to get out of feeling like a servant, and having people like this around just made her think she was still not wort anything. It was mostly this man who did it, but even still. She just had to find a way to work on it around the fact that Kellan kept doing things like this. He was actually starting to get really annoying.

Aston soon spoke up asking her what direction the path was, giving her the opportunity to be useful. "Well I believe based on where the tree Russel was stranded in, we came from that direction." Anthea pointed to the direction she believed the path was in. The angle seemed right from what she remembered when first seeing Russel in the tree by the wolves.

The attempt to calm the spider had gone very badly. Right before the shadowweaver bit him he caught that it's eyes rested on a single colour. They were blue, unlike when he met the spider, they were red. He knew in an instant the spider was no longer their friend, but the realization came too late when the spider bit him.

The bite went straight through his armour and into his finger causing it to sear in pain. Laurentinus grunted as he wrapped his other hand around his wrist, holding it tightly trying to numb the pain slightly.
"Kara...." He got out before wincing again. "G-get a cloth or string and tie off my arm, the tighter the better. Don't let the poison spread." He told her. He knew he shouldn't move, that increased the spreading, he had to section it off to one area. He just had to put up with the pain until they found a way to heal him.

In preparation for Kara's help Laurentinus began to get his gauntlet off his arm so Kara could properly tie it off, trying to ignore the blood oozing from his wound. Of course to do this it meant that he had to let go of his arm and stop what little pressure he was holding there, that just made things worse. Laurentinus tried to keep a brave face on for Kara but in truth he was slightly panicked, what if they weren't able to get to help in time. At best he would lose his arm from lack of circulation, or the poison through and that could get really ugly.

Finally Sebastian dropped the reins of the horse and dismounted so he was on equal level with the men he was speaking too. He did not bother to tie his horse up, it didn't wander far. He knew who kept it fed and happy so he rarely went too far from him. Sebastian took a seat between the two men. He was slightly curious about the one who complained about being called a comrade. Was there something wrong with him? Perhaps he was really like a child in a man's body, or perhaps he had a bad day and decided to act childish. Either way it didn't matter too much to him.

"Steak you say? I love steak. You must be of the more well off if you are still cooking steak after this mess. Oh yes, my name. I am Sebastian, I hail from the Whitethorn family in Haven. It is a pleasure to meet you."
He introduced himself with a smile. "So tell me about this Adventurer Society of yours." He asked trying to start conversation.

Sorry Fogwarden people, I'll post for this soon. Need to prepare the next battle.

"I'm sorry." Mumbled Aedan as Greenbeard berated him for not having read up on his history. He was even more confused now. It sounded like the grudge was personal but it was years ago... He was a crazy old man. What was he getting so confused about? The old guy probably believed he was alive around them for all he knew. As if he could read his mind, he felt the stick going into his ribs. He yelped. "You need to learn not to stick your stick into other people's ribs!" He rubbed his ribs where he was poked. That guy was far too fond of abusing people with the stick. Luckily, the Drake seemed to give up at that point. It flew off, promising that it would return for more. He exhaled a deep breath in relief. I managed to talk it down! Now we have some time! Let's see what's going on with this Winter Man.
"Good idea. Good luck with healing everyone. I'll see you later Greenbeard." He knew that they were heading towards the fortified survivors' camp. Now he just needed to find them in it all. There were quite a few people here, and he wasn't having much success yet. "I just need to find the sideburns. Once I see those, I'll definitely have found Sanderson." They were his defining characteristic.

Conrad was left with a rather interesting issue here, he watched as the Spirit weaver summoned smaller spiders to it's side. Damn it they needed to break through or risk getting swarmed. But if he advanced he left Rayyad and Tessa out in the open, not that he didn't think they couldn't take care of themselves but he could most likely take the hardest hits. "Okay there's two things we can do, I know it's hardly the time and place for it but either I move up attack the core of this, that big spider over there, but it leaves you all open to attack." He knew that that wasn't the way to go, atleast not now. "However, that is not what I'll do, Rayyad, got any combat magic? Try and hit the big one as hard as you can, try and lure it in. If not, we'll close ranks, take them out one by one as we advance. Tessa, do what you're good at, you got this, now let's do this, quick and clean." Conrad said as he tried to parry blows from the spiders, failing to do so, the hits hurt, but not badly. He swung his own new greatsword at the spider that decided to stick too close and then take up a defensive stance.

Conrad used Greatswordstrike one Spiritspider in front of him (6 AP)
Conrad used defensive stance (3 AP)

Baldomar smiled at the compliments he got from Kellan, there was some back and forth as to where they were supposed to be going, but the promise of stuff to apply a hammer to the face to was having the shaman a little distracted and had nothing to do with the poster not feeling like checking what precisely happened since most of it was probably insignificant anyways Anthea seemed to have remembered the way they were supposed to go, Kellan didn't call her by her name and Baldy felt the need to correct his mate. "Kellan, the girl's name ain't Christina, you twonk, her name is Anthea." The Barbarian tried to get through Kellan's thick ignorant skull, but he figured it may be something else than ignorance that plagued his mate. "Alright then, let's go onwards to bash some faces in." Baldomar said, the direction seemed right to him, but was a man like him ever truly lost out in the woods? You couldn't be lost at home now could you? He started to mentally debate this as he went with the others.

He thought he had outrun the danger back in Haven when his home got burned down by some overzealous prick trying to contain the undead. That he could have made a nice new start here in Fordington. However he had been proven wrong, it was all quiet for the past what was it two years? And now once again his house was burned down, this time it wasn't an overzealous mage though but rather a drake. However unlike last time he didn't lose an arm and part of his leg during the cluster**** of his town. He had heard the Mayor had hired some folks to help out with this particular problem and Ulrich was on his way to see what kind of sorry bunch turned up to try and make some money of the misery of others this time. Not that he cared much for what those folks did. He had found their camp and looked at the group of people that had gathered. "So, I take it you're the lot trying to save this town?" Ulrich asked, not even caring to introduce himself.

Bryce's eyes widened as he contemplated Sanderson's words. "We can be...both?" He stared at the man, completely ignoring the Horse Man and now the new person who had barged in. Sanderson liked talking to people. Sanderson could take care of them. Instead, Bryce focused on trying to wrap his mind around the idea that he and Sanderson could be two things. Not just friends, but colleagues. The Citrus God had indeed smiled upon Bryce when they had shown him to the Adventure's Society, causing him to meet Sanderson.

"We're a bunch of people who got a piece of paper and did what it told us to do." Bryce told
Sebastion, his eyes never once leaving Sanderson. He didn't realize how terrribly creepy this looked as he tried to figure out a way to communicate to the sideburns that they could be suspicious of each other. "And then we split into three groups. The Scary Lady went one place, and the..." he frowned. He didn't really know how to identify Aston. "The Man Without Sideburns went somewhere else. And we came here." Bryce turned back to Sanderson. "There's a stranger person here. Stranger danger. Also, what is that? It looks bad."

Bryce, despite being completed devoted to the Citrus God, didn't like the look of the green potion at all.

Tessa let go of Rayyad's hand to kneel down, pressing her palms against the earth. Goosebumps rose along her skin as her power melded with that of nature's, and she shivered, glancing over at Rayyad. "Do what you can, okay? I don't want to kill it, but I'm choosing the two of you over it, since you both don't have plans to eat me any time soon. I hope." She muttered the last bit, turning her attention back towards the ground. The sounds of battle drowned itself out as she let herself be surrounded by the song of growing things and life.

"Live." She whispered, feeling the magic sapped from her fingers.

Tessa used Vitality Tulip: 7 AP, 6 Mana on the square in between herself, Conrad and Rayyad.

Kara had her blades out, ready for trouble when the spider bit Laurentinus. Why he had tried to pet it, she didn't know. You didn't try to stroke a person who was undergoing a seizure, you held them down and waited it out. But since she wasn't able to hold down a giant spider without some serious back up....Kara watched the spider scuttle away, feeling her chest twinge. She had thought she had made a friend out of the creature, but clearly the feelings were not reciprocated.

    Turning away from
Ren, she quickly ran back into the abandoned (Rayyad's) house, using her knife to tear off a strip from the blanket. With a muttered apology to whomever's home it was, Kara stuck the blade back in it's sheath and moved quickly back to Ren's side. With an impatient sigh, she helped him remove the gauntlet from his wound before grabbing his arm. "Hold still." She mutttered, wrapping the cloth around tightly enough that the skin began to redden underneath in irritation.

"You're kind of an idiot." She informed
him as she worked, her fingers trembling slightly. She had no healing skill, she had no idea where they were or how to get out, and there was no earthly possibility anyone was near them. "We are so screwed." She proclaimed, sitting back on her heels slightly as she examined her work. It was a bad idea for Ren to move, or even elevate his heart rate, so they were stuck there. Stuck until the gods decided to either worsen their fortune, or show them some kind of mercy.

She got up, pacing as her fingers flew through her hair, braiding and unbraiding while she thought and re-thought their options. "Don't move, and try to breathe slow." She told
Ren, biting her lip. Why did you have to go and do that?

Really she was not sure what RelativelySane wanted her to do, because as far as Garrett could tell there was not much to do. Anger fill her and with one swift motion She moved the rock that was the Crag and used it to attack the stupid spider. Alice used magic to attack the stupid spider (ap used I have no clue) She walked up to the sprider a gave it a good wack. She then held up her staff in a defensive way.

Alice did movement down, the movement down right. (2ap)
    Staff hit (5 ap)
    Defensive stance (3 ap)
    10/ 10 ap used

There was not much going on. Aston then asked where the path back was. He looked around and knew that way back right away. Russell seemed to have sprinted off into the woods in a direction. Well if the man wanted to get lost again that would be up to him. This whole direction thing was a simple one and it seemed that it was made out to be bigger then it needed to be. Really all that had to be done was to know north, south, east and west the remember what way they cam from and head that way. There was not much to do but to move on.

Sanderson chuckled at Bryce's explanation of the Adventurer's Society. He sat down on a log by the fire. A new stranger approached as well, and Sanderson greeted them with a smile
"Greetings my good man, Sanderson Bracklewood, at your service! Indeed we do hope to save this town" he said. Talking to both Sebastien and the new person he began to explain the Adventurer's Society "Good explanation Bryce, but perhaps I should fill in the details. Since the discovery of lands beyond Tyrrus I've been determined to go beyond this sheltered country and brave the strange and mysterious lands beyond! I knew there would be people in our fair country with similar interests, so I decided to set up the Adventurer's Society! We're here so I can train all the new recruits, once I'm more confident in their abilities we shall be heading South, beyond the Storm Barrier. The "Scary Lady" Bryce describes is my sister Shyra, she's taken a group into the Darklight Caverns to investigate some happenings. The "Man Without Sideburns" is our friend Aston Venger, who I believe was taking a group into the Forgotten City, but I think he got distracted by a strange fellow and is now going up to Fogwarden Keep" Sanderson explained. "What is your name stranger?" Sanderson hurriedly asked, avoiding Bryce's question about the potion. Perhaps if they were alone he would have explained more, but with these new people he was wary. Suddenly Sanderson spotted Aedan in the crowd "Hello! Aedan old chap! We're over here!"
