It was said to be one of THE BEST GAMES EVER MADE. I think when making the 3D version, Nintendo finally understood why it was such a great game, and what made it so good. Anyone who has played the 3DS version, or the N64 version can share their thoughts of this fantastic adventure that spans between time itself.

While the 3D version was a great remake of a great game, I personally think Nintendo overpriced it. I am not going to lie, OoT used to be my favorite Zelda game. Unfortunately, I feel that many people only like the game because everyone else does or because of sentimental value. Personally, I like Skyward Sword better, but that's just me.

They overpriced it because it was a 3DS game and it contains Master Quest. Skyward Sword was ok, I mean it wasn't that good only the gameplay was good, the story was a bit weak. As you said it's your opinion as mine.

I honestly don't think the inclusion of Master Quest is a strong enough reason to overprice it. Hell, they gave Master Quest away for free on the Gamecube if you preordered Wind Waker. I know Nintendo can get away with it by saying it is a 3DS game, but I can not imagine a great deal of work went into making the 3D version. After all, the game was already made. I am not sure that story is really a valid argument in console Zelda games. From what I have seen, the console games all seem to follow incredibly similar plot lines. The handheld games actually have much better, more developed stories if you ask me. The Oracle games on the GBC are actually probably my favorite Zelda games after Skyward Sword.

I can relate to that, Master Quest is exactly like the original Ocarina of Time only the entire map is flipped, Dungeons are harder, and damage reduction is higher. And yes Nintendo's been getting away with pricy games for major consoles forever, I mean years. I agree All console games are alike, but almost all of them by my knowledge, follow Ocarina of Time somehow. Like, Twilight Princess was a distant sequel, Wind Waker was a distant sequel, Skyward Sword was obviously before it all, and Majora's Mask is right after Ocarina of Time. I only played Skyward Sword for the gameplay really, and the Oracle games were awesome, same with all GBC games, link's Awakening has to be my must play Zelda game though

The Deluxe Version of Link's Awakening is better.... well all they add is another dungeon, color, and two tunics. The original OoT is a masterpiece that I could play anytime anywhere. Except on emulator. Will not attempt Water Temple on that.

I tried playing this the other day, actually. I got up to the inside of some big tree and just gave up. It's not really fun or anything. I may go back sometimes to continue, but I still find this game incredibly overrated so far.

    >.> This is a game of the mind, it tests knowledge and what I call "Zelda Logic (TM)" you need to know Legend of Zelda before you start playing it, and if you don't want to do that, just get youtube help.

I do see what you are saying about the game being incredibly overrated. In a sense, it is. I won't deny that it is a great game, but I feel that many people think more highly of it than they should. However, I do suggest you give the game another shot. The first dungeon was not very memorable for me, but I greatly enjoyed everything after that.

I'm not sure that this game necessarily tests "Zelda Logic." I personally did not find any of the puzzles to be all that difficult. I could easily see someone needing a guide for the Water Temple though.

Got the game not long ago and I'm personally really enjoying it. Currently at the Fire Temple now.
Though as expected, it's kinda lost it's charm for me after I played the Gamecube version of the game, but I still feel proud when I go through the dungeons without help, especially since it was ages ago since I last completed it.

The Water Temple is actually very simple once you understand it, on my first playthrough of the game I finished it, not to brag or anything. I'm just saying you can finish any puzzle, and any challenge using "Zelda Logic" and of course your own mind. And everytime you complete a dungeon or any trial, you've used "Zelda Logic" withought knowing it.

I actually played OoT for the first time due to this game!

I finished it yesterday, it was such a good game! I had to use some help though, since I didn't know some of the things were right or wrong. The Water Temple though, wasn't that hard for me?

I just plotted points I knew where I needed to go.

When I first played it on N64 I got to that Deku Tree and gave up then. Tried playing it on Gamecube and I ended up completing the whole game. Might be a bit of gettig use to.

I knew the game back to front from old playthroughs, despite the occasional new thing to get used to. It was pretty easy.
It's a good buy if you want to relive a great game, and the addition of Master Quest once having completed it is very nice too.

I hear that some people have complained that some glitches were removed, but it didn't really bother me to be honest. I didn't use the glitches in past playthroughs anyway, although, there is nothing wrong with those who did.
If it makes the game fun for someone, I say go for it.

But yeah, I personally loved this, although I didn't focus on the 3D aspect all that much. :/

Twilight Princess must have spoiled me. This games look too kiddy for my taste. That and I'm not sure what I should be doing inside the Neku Tree. It gives no help or idea where to go or what to do.

Yeah, I could never get it done my firs time either, it just wasn't obvious. If I'm honest I used a game guide through most of the Dungeons (Effing Water Temple) just so I could play and enjoy the game. It's not easy to complete at all, but back when it first came out, you needed perseverance to complete it.

sure, i know most people dont think of majora's mask as a good game, but i would love to see that on the 3ds, i just wish i knew how to get through the darn temple where you have to flip it upside/rightside up, other than that i would love to see the game with better quality :D

and as for ooc...BUY IT SO F*CKING WORTH IT!! :3
