Saw the new images for Okamiden, had to make this. But then I had to continue. So this was the result. V.2 I've been experimenting with this style...not sure if it's totally effective or not but eh. CnC?
The style is really good for making effects around the render, and for making a nice looking background, but they feel like they could use a bit more. I don't know exactly what, to be honest, but maybe just something to fill up more of the neg space. Combine this style with another style that works with it; I'm sure that would make pretty damn nifty tags, though I do like these, admittedly.
Green one is pretty uggos, it's really pukish. And I agree with Advent, it needs something... more. It's good as a minor effect but for the entire tag, it's just a bit too simple.
Do what I do when I get artist's block: mess with C4D's and blending options until you get something nice looking. :v Or something else that's simple but effective, like duplicating the render and smudging it to hell, then messing with the blending options.
