Legend of Dragoon: Advent of the Sindori

Ghaleon knocked on the door.

 

Maya opened the door and smiled at Ghaleon, but sensed something. She grabbed a spare dagger and tossed it at something behind him.

 

"Why'd you do that?"

 

"Thought there was someone tailing you." Maya recovered her dagger.

 

"There's been something I've been meaning to tell you, Maya." Ghaleon said as he walked inside.

 

"What is it?"

 

"I'm not too good with words, so I'll just show you." Ghaleon said. He then leaned in and kissed her.

 

Maya looked surprised, but kissed him back.

 

"Glad to finally get that off my chest." He said as he held her close.

 

Maya wondered what this wonderful feeling she felt was.

 

Ghaleon smiled as he sat there, holding her. He didn't know why, but he felt comfortable like this.

 

Maya held him back.

Miko and Kyo walked through the hallway, passing a person who Miko gave a weird feeling. She turned to him, shaking.

 

"Mind if I stay here tonight? I don't feel like going back to the castle."

 

"Sure." Maya left to prepare the guest bed.

 

Ghaleon remained in the den.

 

Maya reappeared, "Your bed is ready." She showed him to the guest bed and went to her own bed, falling asleep.

 

Ghaleon fell asleep on the bed. He felt more comfortable here than he did at the castle.

 

Maya was fast asleep.

Miko looked out the window of the house where she and Kyo stayed. She had a bad feeling about the person she saw at the castle.

 

Ghaleon slept peacefully, oversleeping the next morning.

 

Maya left to find food and left a note for Ghaleon. On her way to back home, Maya was caught by a couple of guards and taken to the castle. Miko and Kyo witnessed her capture.
