-Shōjo (BLARGH) -Shōnen -Kodomo -Bishōnen (eck) -Moe -Shōnen-ai (O_O. see below) -Hentai (Not into pixel sax. Not attracted to anime characters) So, yes.. I also dislike Sports anime, like you also mentioned. What's the point in shows like Prince of Tennis? Tennis is just as boring in R/L, so why would it be different animated. <_<; Oh, and Robot/Mecha anime, too.
Meh, sports anime isn't too bad if you're not looking for realism. I personally enjoyed Prince of Tennis despite the unbelievable shots they would pull off in that show. Suzuka was also primarily a sports anime, but it had a strong drama/romance base which gave more meaning to the story and characters in general. In general, 100+ ep shows are pretty dangerous ground, and usually end up bad. Surprisingly, I haven't liked a lot of what the comedy genre had to offer--at least, not the Comedy-heavy series. Full Metal Panic: Fumoffu was the only exception (I've never laughed so hard at any series). EDIT: Harem blows.
I like sports anime.........not prince of tennis though....... I dislike mecha animes well.....most of them
When I first saw the add for Prince of tennis, it made me think that it was a bad anime, I watched a part playing tennis, the characters were as tense as the characters watching Duel Monsters on Yugioh. >.> (Yugioh was much more exciting to watch...) That anime should be canceled.....(this is coming from a guy who only like action anime. <.<) (
Well, PoT has been long since finished (including the OVA season) in Japan. I really could care less about the American Dubbed market.
I think out of all the genres, the harem genre gets on my nerves the most. Why? Well let's break it down. Take 1 average looking male and make up 8+ impossibly gorgeous female characters to fight each other over said average looking male. They're all the same. Examples: Tenchi Muyo, Ranma 1/2{it was okay at times.}
I hate amost all of them but Shonen jumps takes the cake for my most hated Anime genre of all time. Naruto Shamen king Yu gi oh Yu yu hukasho THERE ALL FECKING THE SAME! The shows themself get on my nerves and seem like a cool concept at first. But then completly drill it into the ground with all sorts of problems to enhance the characters emotion and feeling about things. Also ANGSTY TEEN NINJAS WHAT THE HELL!? The only manga/Anime I like from them is Bleach.
