Is it bad that I don't? I mean, they made what, a very mediocre game? As much as it pains me, this is slowly getting rid of the over-saturation in the market.
Nobody wants to be unemployed. But, as shadowjak said, they made a very mediocre game. If you don't meet standards, you're going to get cut. Just the way life works.
Glad to see someone agrees. 38 Studios depressed me, but that's because they made a good game. Honestly, if these guys are code monkeys worth their salt, then maybe in time they'll be picked up by a bigger company. I'd like to see it where big companies are putting out tons of varied games. That way the team size increases as well as quality.
