Lay Them to Rest

Kade slowly staggered to his feet. A hangover and a new injury did not mix. "Hey you know I have a medic back at the compound where I stay, why don't you come with me and I'll get you fixed up?" He offered to the man winicing at his own injury.

 

Lucy nodded her head, letting Auora do what she needed to do for the wound. While Auora cleaned it, Lucy looked around the room, seeing nobody else. "You live alone?"

 

Kaya turned from the wishing fountain and started to follow one of the many paths. She looked up at the trees and smiled quietly. A slight breeze rustled the leaves, making a whispering sound. She liked that sound. It was like a silent voice speaking to her, but she never understood it. She looked back down, seeing that she was about to run into a couple. "Whoops!" she quickly sidestepped out of the way. "Eh heh, sorry about that..." Kaya ducked her head when the couple glared at her and she quickly walked away from them.

 

Kerry was bored out her head, so she slipped on her coat, her sun glasses and her sword hidden just in case. She looked either way and set off down the street, not really knowing where she was going. She brushed past some people as she moved down the street letting her feet take her without really caring where.

 

Auora looked up at Lucy. "Yes I do. Besides Marky anyways. Never really had a roommate let alone some guy. I like my privacy even though it tends to get lonely from time to time." She reach for one of the oinment and stared speading it on the wound. "Besides, I spend most of my time outside and I don't want anyone to mess with my house while I'm gone."

 

Nox walked down the street. The night air was cold so Nox kept his hands in his pokets to conserve some amount of heat. His plan was to watch a miltary building keep track of entrances infiltrate to find information on shipments and find out when the best to make a move for the guns.

 

Kerry glanced up at the moon, full moon how appropriate. It was so beatiful and for a second she was hypnotised by it's beaty, she always had a fasination with the moon. She smiled and looked back down to the ground. As she looked down she noticed another solitary figure on the street she was on, with their hands in their pockets. She wondered what they could be doing out at this time of night. It was none of her business but still she was curious.

 

Nox kept walking he wanted to get the base before midnight. He thought he'd just wait outside it maybe in the outside of a coffe shop. He shivered alittle he needed a thicker jaket.

 

Kerry watched the figure walk, she saw them shiver, they must be cold but then she couldn't blame them, it wasn't exactly the warmest of nights. She wondered where they were going. There was a military base in that direction, they'd better be careful. As she looked she got more and more curious. She knew she was being nosy and she should really go home but something about him made her want to follow him.

 

Nox could hear footsteps behind him. He knew someone was trailing behind him but he didn't want to make a seane. He turned down a street and then hid behind the building on the corner he'd find out who was folowing him soon.

 

Lucy winced a little, feeling the wound slightly burn. She continued to look around the room, listening to what Auora was saying. "Have you ever ran into another Klone besides me?" she asked, looking back at Auora.

 

Kerry watched the figure go turn down a street and was about to follow him but suddenly stopped. She felt bad, she dropped to her knees, it felt like her head was going to explode. Her vision went, everything was blurry! What was going on, she was hyperventerlatting. She panniced and blindly triied to feel anything. She was terrified.

 

Nox waited for the person folowing him to come his way. He held his breath and waited for them.

 

Auora stayed quite as she added another ointment. Marky sat next to Lucy on the couch. Auora finished and sighed. "Well actually, yes. But it was only moments before they were killed. I didn't know them but I knew that they were just like me. The military is cruel. They just can't let us be. They've killed so many Klones already." She felt her eyes start to water up and she quickly turned away from Lucy.

 

Lucy stood up from her seat, crossing her arms and stepping away from Auora. "Might as well get used to it, I suppose. Everyone from the military are like dogs. They do what they're told and basically obey every single command they are given." She took another step away from Auora and blinked a few times. Her vision was still a bit blurry. "Thanks for helping, by the way."

 

Auora looked at Lucy, noticing her moving back. She wiped her eyes. "You're welcome. Um...are you planning on leaving? In your condition, I don't think you'll get very far. And your wound won't be able to take much more."

 

Suddenly the pain Kerry was in disappeared as soon as it had come. She blinked her eyes under her sunglasses in amazement. What just happened? She looked at her hand, she was still shaking. Slowly, she got up, not quite sure about what had happened. She almost fell over as she was unsteady on her feet. She rubbed her head. She looked at the corner where the figure had gone round, they were probably long gone by now but still she slowly wandered over to the corner to take a look.
