Lay Them to Rest

Lucy nodded her head again in response to Auora. As soon as she was out of the room, Lucy leaned back, placing her back against the bed, looking up at the ceiling. "I need to sleep once I eat," she muttered as she rubbed her eyes.

 

Auora stood in the kitchen. What should I make?...

 

Kerry smiled and let him boost her up, she got up, moved the manhole cover and got out. The light blinded her for a moment before her eyes ajusted, she smiled back down the hole, "Your turn, need a hand?"

 

'just kick the latter down,' Nox said a little iritated. The second part of the latter would just slide down given a shap kick.

 

"Oh" She said quietly, a bit embarassed she hadn't noticed, she kicked down the ladder "I'm sorry, anyway where we going?" She wondered how far they would have to go before he started answering her questions. She watched him, slightly annoyed with herself. She looked so stupid to him probably.

 

Nox began climing up the latter, 'just pay more attion next time.'
I think she can be useful but the minute she becomes a problem I'll kill her.

 

OC: really? Thats cheating at scrable. What does it take to get rid of you an how are there camera's in the sewer. Oh wait there aren't

Nox hadn't actualy come out of man hole yet and heard the soilder's voice. My god what does it take to get rid of him. Nox's arm grabed the girl and draged her down into the manhole. They needed to get out of there and get to some place safe. The fire escape began to fall ontop of the manhole. Nox jumped down and began to run, "Come on."

 

Kerry was shocked at Alan's voice but before she could think, she was dragged back into the sewer, getting covered in sewage yet again, but she quickly ran with him. How had Alan found them? They couldn't run forever, there had to be a way to escape him. Why was Alan attacking them anyway? He was a klone, he should be on their side. If Alan and her mysterious saviour teamed up they'd be unstoppable, hopefully on the right side though.

 

Nox kept moving down the tunnel, 'I don't know how he found us unless he can read minds. We need to come up with a plan.'

 

"Yeah, your right. I've got a house but he knows where it is, he's been in it. I don't know if he can read minds, but I don't think he can. He's been in my house and now I know he's military, if he could get in my head I'd be long dead. I've got a few secrets that he'd not be too happy with. So, I think we can escape him somehow" Kerry looked at him as she kept up with him, "I still don't know your name, I'm Kerry by the way"

 

Nox looked back at Kerry, 'Nice to meet you. when we're safe I'll tell you my name.'
Nox contiuend ahead. The two came to a room with a large eletrical conductor.
'Now we're getting somewhere,' Nox said smileing.

 

Kerry looked critically at the door tring to figure out what it was, it appeared to have some sort of elctrical conductor thing on the front of it, "What is it?" She asked slightly confused. Where did this lead, but he was clearly happy, this was probobly good.

 

'This control's the power to central we knock this out we have a clean get away,' Nox said, 'we come out before the eletrical team comes then we head to my apartment.'

 

"Sounds like a good plan, but how are you planning on destroying it? Just attack it or will that electrocute us? I sure you've got that all planned out though." Kerry smiled this guy had it all figured out.

 

Kaya slowed down to a fast walk, since she was running earlier. She sighed out quietly. "Barely made it..." she breathed out. Kaya looked around her quickly. No military... just only a few people. But after seeing what she saw today... Anybody could be working for the military... even her own kind.

 

Nox looked at the large grey box. His eyes seemed to look through it. The box began to come apart from the inside. Nox's powers took it apart. He smiled at himself, 'There the power should be down now. Let's get out of here before anyone shows up.'

 

Kerry smiled, she had been right "good idea, let's go", She set of running down the tunnel, then turned to him "By the way, where are we going now?"

 

Nox looked up the two tunnels that were avilable, ' that way.'
Nox pointed right and began going in the same direction.

 

Kerry nodded and followed him down that tunnel, he'd been right about everything else so far, so she saw no reason to doubt him.
