Lay Them to Rest

Kerry went with him, he was trying to save her! But why was Alan attacking them in the first place? She didn't understand any of this. She could feel her sword hidden by her side, she was going to get it but didn't. She might be able to get out of this without a fight, she didn't want to fight Alan anyway. She looked at Alan, he'd been in her house! These two were powerful she knew as the bricks flew of the walls. What had she got herself into this time? Although part of her was enjoying every minute of this despite being terrifed, just like the good old days.

 

Lucy rested her hands against the bed as she leaned back a little, looking around the room. "Uh. Well, I'm a little hungry..." she muttered, placing one hand below her chin while her index finger pressed again her lips. She wondered how long she was planning on staying here, and if it would be possible for her to leave in the morning or in the middle of the night.

 

Auora watched her as she looked around. "Well what would you like? I could cook something. Or would you perfer something else?" She. began to get a little nervous. She figitted a bit as Nikki meowed from her room.

 

A two cars came flying at Alan. Nox closed his eyes waiting for the loud noise.

 

Kerry looked between Alan and the man who was saving her, she didn't even know their name. She could see how powerful they were and was aware they were in the middle of a war zone. She knew she had to get out of there or she was going to end up dead. But how? If she made a brake for it she would end up getting hit by flying cars or stuff. So, she stayed put, she knew she could fight if need be. She just watched her savior with wonder, as he concentrated on attacking Alan.

 

Kerry just looked at him, she didn't know what to think. "W-what? Why? Um, thanks?" Everything was so confusing. She sighed, trying to find reason to the maddness. He was military and he'd been in her house! But she wasn't mad at him, she didn't hate him for what she knew he must of done, though she knew she should be. Her head was throbbing and her whole body hurt, but she just stayed there staring at him for a few precious seconds what seemed like forever.

 

Kaya slowly looked back up from where she was hiding. Chaos was happening all around her. She took in a quiet, shuddering breath trying to calm her nerves down. Gotta get out of here, she thought. Based on how this was going, they were going to get really close to her hiding spot. If that happened, she would be spotted by the military guy, and then it would be all over. Think Kaya, think! Kaya scanned the area quickly, looking for a way out of this mess. I guess I'll wait until they get distracted again. These guys look like they can handle themselves.

 

'Bullsh!t,' Nox said. A black cloud came from th ground. It was powder made from ground up asfalt. No one could see. Nox grabed the girl's arm and ran. The top of a sewige drain came off and Nox threw the girl in the jumped in himself. The top came back on and seal itself.

 

Kerry fell in and was covered in sewage, she screwed up her face, it smelt horrible "Ewww", she turned to Nox "Who are you? What's going on?" It would be nice to get some answers for once she thought. She got up wiping the sewage off her.

 

'Did you really think he was going to let us go. Come on we have to keep moving,' Nox started down the tunnel, 'I'll explain when we put enough distance between him and us.'

 

Lucy looked at Auora, noticing something was wrong. She stared at her for a couple seconds before looking away and closing her eyes, figuring she shouldn't ask. "Anything is fine."

 

Kerry was still confused but followed anyway, her head was still realing. Alan was military and was going to kill them? Why didn't he kill her before then, he had the chance. He could of got her unaware easily, so why didn't he? Nothing made sense any more. "He's been in my house", she murmed to herself more than anything else. But the thrill of being on the run was flowing through her once more, she'd got the excitement she wanted definatly.

 

Auora smiled. "Ok. I'll see what I can do." She stood in place for a moment, unsure if she shouldsay anything else.

 

Nox kept going making turns and moving quikly, 'we need to get to central.'
Central was the main part of the city. Large crowds were there all day and night. Nox had a cheap place their for them to stay.

 

Kerry kept up with him, running by his side. She wondered where they were going. As she was running, she realised she still had her sword hidden by her side. This person, she still didn't know his name, probably still thought she was a weak girl. She smiled at that thought.

 

Nox stoped and looked up there was a man hole and a latter out of reach. The latter had an extension if you came down but traped if you were trying to get out.
'I'll give you a boost up,' Nox said as he put his hands together to help her up.

 

Lucy slightly smiled and nodded her head. "Thanks, for everything. Helping me with my wound, letting me stay and stuff," she said putting both hands against the bed and looking back at Auora.

 

Auora smiled very happily. "No problem. I was glad to help out a fellow Klone. Now just make yourself at home and I'llbe back with your food." She turned and exited the room.
