What are three different ways that colored light can be produced in neon tubing?​

 

1. Using different gases will produce different colors. Ex Neon gives orange, Helium gives purple

2. Different colors of glass (other than clear colorless glass) may be used.

3. Coatings applied to the outside or inside of the glass can change the apparent color that one would see from a distance.
