true, but if someone continues to be in such a manner that causes irritation then they are choosing to be irritating.

It has been made very evident to people like axel that this is the case. By choosing to remain they are choosing to be irritating and are therefore *******s.

X does action A which is irritating
X does not know action A is irritating
X cannot therefore be held morally responsible for being irritating
Y makes X aware action A is irritating
X no longer has immunity from being responsible
X continues to perform action A
X is guilty of being purposefully irritating

 

That would be a true sign of irritation. I can be pretty oblivious to it though.

 

But having had it pointed out to you directly should change that fact.

when one is oblivious to one's irritation one can't be deemed as a bad person for it, though though can be made aware of it (which some people seem to see as being the same thing for some reason), it's when they aren't oblivious and therefore intentionally thus that it damages their character seriously.

I myself have often discovered that I am irritating people.
