It's more similar to german. Considering how english is a germanic language o: and considering how much influence the language has had from places like scandinavia. You know why english, as a language, makes no sense? Yeah, we partly did that.

Yeah, this. All Latin-based languages have a lot of similarities, in form if nothing else.

It's not so much that I can't do it, so much as I can't do it yet. If I needed it to use a language properly, then I'd pick it up.

 

It would take some time and training to shift accents like that. I could not do it without a trainer, I tell you that much.

 

Good evening my dears.
We were all told to write down a scenario in English today about one of our classmates that would be very scary and could get you killed.
I wrote about Jake,the guy sitting behind me. Every single other person in the class wrote about me. Ranging from dark alleys to swimming pools,in their story things I was following them with some sort of weapon,ready to murder them.
They know me so well <3~

I would love to do that for my English class, but instead we get to write persuasive and expository essays about school.

Bleh,essays. My English teacher gives us lots of odd things to do/write about,as she does not want us losing interest.
Add that to the fact that I start class sing-a-longs when I get bored,and you see why she lets us have fun. (No idea why people actually join in with my singing,but meh. Being a stalker seems to have its advantages~)

 

Lucky. We always have something to do in class, but it usually involves writing or grading essays, notes, reading and such.

She also grades more harshly than the state, and she's been nagged for not having any A students... ever. Yeah, she's that harsh.

 

I have to write a story in no more than 825 words and it has to be good... this is incredibly difficuly. I am currently on 960 words... I don't know how I can cut it down any more D:

 

Oh Enzy... use lots of contractions and try not to explain things in too much detail. I know it's hard, and if I didn't have crap to do I would help you over Skype, but just try things out. Is it due tomorrow, because I would be free to help for a bit tomorrow afternoon.

 

Well, I have ages yet- it's like due in March but I need to finish it so I can take it to my teacher and be like "amidoinitrite?" and then I have to write a commentary on it which is basically analysing my own story.

But all my description is meaningful ;-;

I know, but you've got to cut it down. Grrrr... it's hard to help without anything to work with specifically.

 

It's fine, I will sort it out at some point, right now I have chemistry work I have to do for first thing tomorrow xD I'ev mostly done it... but our teacher hasn't actually taught us the topic that the homework is on D: which is quite unfair really.

 

Oh, I know that feeling. That is my Algebra II class every single day.

He never teaches us anything and then we have worksheets and tests to do without any prior knowledge. It's utter crap.

Yeah. He lets us use cheat sheets during the tests, so I basically cram the night before and write down things that help me work out the problems.

It usually gets me a passing grade.

Damn straight. In fact, everyone who's ever passed either of their classes should get a month's worth of their salary. >:D

 

I wish My school was like that...I WANT FREEDOM TOO! ;~; and half of the dollar teachers make!

 

Studying for test... postit-notes everywhere... is this the real life? Or is this just fantasyyyy
