    You've never seen The Goonies?!?! It's only the greatest movie of my childhood!There was evil Italians and swearing and lost treasure and pirates and tall deformed people and Truffle Shuffling!

    That movie was absolutely horrible. I hate treasure movies.

    Steven Spielberg was too young and inexperienced to direct a good movie.

    Besides being a treasure movie, why was it bad?

    No. Being old does not make something good by default. It was somewhat mediocre from what I remember, even as a kid.

    The acting was horrible, as were the lines. That period in time was never a good time to work with kid actors.

    Now, see, Treasure Planet didn't have that crappy treasure hunting feel to it. Treasure planet was EPIC. Treasure Planet was more action and story than anything.

    That's another thing.

    The story to The Goonies was terrible.
