Ugh, the Gym Leader Challenge is killing me D:
You all got lucky when you got in early, I got stuck with the wonderful Normal types ^_^
God knows how I'll do the Ground type gym with that Excadrill there, it's gonna screw me over badly unless I can breed a Herdier wielding Fire Fang.
Although I don't think I'll be able to get an egg by putting a Herdier with a Darumaka in the Day Care centre.

 

Try it anyway.

Either way, you can always just look for fire-type TMs and stuff.

Took me a minute to realise what I was seeing. The art style threw me, but it actually suits them.
Donna should have worn the brown version of Tennant's suit, with metacrisis!Doctor wearing Donna's outfit. That would have completed it.

Meanwhile; I'm thinking of using either Platinum or Soul Silver for the Gym Challenge now. Which do you guys recommend?

 

True. Though none of the Normal types I have prepared for my team are Special Attackers and the majority of Fire TMs are Special based moves...
Plus you get the better ones later on in the game. Oh well, I'll get by somehow.

How are you getting along with your Electric types? Have you had much trouble?

 

Oh god, you're totally right about that.

You're the ghost type, right? I'd just look up which has more of those Pokemon and go for it.

Well, the most annoying thing was finding and catching a Plusle. I walked around for half and hour and when I found one, my Combusken was too powerful and killed it in two hits. ;~;

Took me another five minutes to find one, so I used my under-powered Poochyena and caught a partner for my Minun. Those two are just so cute together in battle. <3

Hehe, sounds like a major pain. But you're playing a good game, Gen 3 is my personal favourite.
But I do like Gen 5 because I can Audino farm if I find myself needing to grind a bit :P
And Gen 5 has an abundance of Normal types, gives me plenty to work with, although I could use a better substitute for my Patrat (soon to be Watchdog)
I have to wait a while to get a lot of the other members of my team, which sucks...a lot.
Thank god Normal types can learn a lot of different TMs though.

 

Yep. Personally, Gen 3 was my gateway generation.
