It's an anime though...

 

It is a Visual Novel first and foremost. The anime is not up to par from what I know.

Visual Novel came first for Fate/Stay Night, and the light novels came out first for Fate/Zero. His statement was, technically, correct.

If by 'far up' you mean the series isn't very good, I would have to disagree. Perhaps it's not as compelling as the original, but I thought it and the movie were quite compelling.
If you mean it's not long been out, you may be thinking more of the Fate/Zero anime, which is half way through it's run.

 

Last thread on my new posts list that i haven't yet posted in tonight. HA, changed that. Now nobody is allowed to post at all, or it'll ruin my image.
