LP2P is a fun game for you all, so don't let it damper everyone's moods just because of a few arguments. Also, if you do put someone on your Ignore List, by all means that is your decision, but stating it aloud in a post won't really help the matter either. In any case, the thread is almost done, so hurry up and get a new winner

Before you attack me, I came to apologize. My comment may have been misunderstood as an attack, but it was a joke. I don't see the point in fighting but I am going to be the mature one and aplogize, hoping we can all put this behind us and do what this thread's here for: have fun.

 

If anything, you're making this more complicated, by showing you yourself have been butt-hurt by the fact that I'm only defending this place and the LONG TERM MEMBERS WHO ACTUALLY PUT THE TIME AND EFFORT INTO GETTING SO MANY POSTS INTO IT.

 

Hmm. Also from what I've heard, LP2P has turned into a closeknit family and discussion area of sorts. So you may be a bit mistaken.

I recommend that the most preferable course of action for this specific situation would indeed be to simply drop everything - both the veterans and the newer members. It is completely clear, through my perspective, that this conflict stemmed directly and wildly out of proportion from misinterpretations of comments from both sides. As there was a further perception of attack from either side, things became more and more out of hand and it has led to this dithyramb of insanity that I feel will tear down the foundations of Last Person to Post right before the end of its current reincarnation. Furthermore, my recommendation would be to make greater attempts to absorb the newer members into the community.

My recommendation would be mutual apologies and settling it like that. Never mind the causes of the conflict, since nobody really caused it but it developed from mountains upon mountains of misinterpretation from both sides. Apologies would at least be necessary for continuing this particular conflict on and on and on and building the hill to a mountain of Lhotse proportions. You are all very nice people and I am positive all of you can get along, otherwise. So please, is the destruction of the island that is Last Person to Post worth this silly bickering that has stemmed from literally nothing? As the sun sets upon this thread, let it be known not with the schism between the old and the new but the healthy and fun competition that permeated the ends of the previous reincarnations of this thread.

I trust you will all deliberate positively on this matter and come to cease this incessant conflict. After all, civilization has thrived with mutual peace regardless of whom an individual may be.

When I read reincarnation, I thought regeneration.
When I read schism, I thought End of Time.

Regardless of this, people need to move on. The point is that the people in this thread are like a tight-knit family, and all of these newer members (in terms of LP2P) are sort of butting in. I can see where both sides would be pulling their arguments and rage from, but it really does need to end.
After all, this thread being locked before 5000 posts, especially when we're SO close, would just be such a shame.
