Hayabusa is Japanese for "peregrine falcon", the fastest animal in the world, reaching flight speeds of over 200 miles per hour in its characteristic dives during hunting. They kill their prey by severing the spinal column at the neck with their sharp notched beaks.

I chose the name based on the character Ryu Hayabusa, of the now defamed Ninja Gaiden series. He is (or, was once) the epitome of the modern-day super-ninja, with superhuman speed and strength, and the mastery of multiple weapons. As of the horrible new game, Ninja Gaiden 3, I don't hold much hope for a game anywhere as good as the original Ninja Gaiden (on the Xbox, not the NES).

 

Must be genetic.
