Yeah, they remind me of festive times. I've had some great memories with advent calenders and since I use the same one each year it bears the same memories. I'm very excited for Chrsitmas, despite the fact I have done none of my christmas shopping

I only found out today that some people don't know what advent is, I was surprised but now my eyes are open :3

 

Advent is Christian based correct?
Perhaps these people are of a different religion?

 

Advent probably has some deep, symbolic meaning. Me? I'm just in it for the chocolate.

It's like 'Scrap the religion, I WANT FOOD' but isn't religion more important?

Not that I would know, Religion isn't in my contract...

 

I'm not going to lie, I've been a christian a while now and I still don't understand why we celebrate Advent. My friend said something about the 4 Sundays of Advent but I don't really understand it.

I'd take a certain piece of chocolate now over the possibility of my immortal soul later.

But I don't have to make that choice! By eating the chocolate, I'm following tradition, AND saving my soul! (and I'm eating chocolate.)
