You probably joined just after it got changed. Initially, you became prem if you had either 1000 posts OR 100 rep. And yeah, back then both were just as hard to achieve! Shows how much inflation we've had in the rep system, 555+

 

I vaguely remember it being 1000 posts AND 100 rep.
Or is that what they changed it too?

And yeah, I agree rep was quite hard to come by back then.
