I just went to see it today. It really is awesome. Definitely worth it.
Of course the book is better but that's to be expected.

 

Lucky. I may wait for the DVD, i get claustrophobic in cinema's lately s:
I haven't actually read the book, i was just shown the trailer at school and it looks awesome.

 

The screening I went to was packed with people. That's the first time I've ever seen a screen so busy :/ It was practically filled up.
I'm not sure if you'd enjoy it better if you read the book prior to watching it. Really depends on which one you'd think would deliver the suspenseful moments better.

 

If memoery serves Loki is responsible for the Avengers being created, so it makes complete sense. Although Captian American wasn't an orginal founder so it'll be a different situation in the movie. Which will be epic.
