    Well it depends really. Because there are some first names that's used in more than one show/game. For example, if you have your username as "Minato" people would think it's either from Naruto, or Persona 3. But if instead its "Minato Arisato", people would know it's from persona. So just in case, yes use a last name to not cause a confusion

    Depends if the character does have a last name. The only times this happened with me were when I was Vanellope von Schweetz from Wreck-It Ralph, and Gordon Ramsay.

    Then in cases like Code Lyoko, you would use their last names (e.g., like when I was Ulrich Stern), because their first names, especially the common Jeremie, are used elsewhere.

    Although that brings a good question: Going by your example, if you were just named Minato, wouldn't the avatar prevent confusion as to whether it's from Naruto or Persona 3?
