Did a quick Google and it said they come with an i3 or an i5... do you need something more powerful than that? Those are pretty good processors already. Newegg has some laptop processors available, you're going to have to figure out the exact socket type & other details like that... you're also going to be paying a good chunk of change, though. Laptop processors aren't very easy to install, either--you're probably going to have to open up the laptop pretty extensively. It gets to a point where it might be cheaper to buy a new laptop, especially if the one you have is a few years old.
Well I think I made a mistake then. ^^; I didn't need to change my i5. Its good. Its the graphics card that I want replaced. Its like Intel slow and I want to try to replace it with Nvidia.
I don't believe so. Intel GMA 4500MHD Integrated Graphics <- It's integrated in the processor (if I'm not mistaken), so unfortunately, I don't think you can. There might be, but you should send ASUS an email asking.
Motherboard, not processor. But yes, integrated means there is no replacing it. Occasionally you'll find a laptop that has a PCI slot open for use, but I doubt it. Odds are your only shot is if your computer has an expansion bay.
I'll add, though, that you might be able to buy a graphics card that fits, if there are open slots in the computer (which I doubt) EDIT: I got ninja'd o.o
I see. Is it possible to like go to a store that has like experience with taking apart laptops and integrating it? Like Best Buys or something?
I don't want to say that it can't be done, but it is so impractical that you are very unlikely to find anywhere that will try, and then the price point is likely high enough that you might as well get a new computer. You're really just out of luck on this one.
