    Real or not?
I say it is real because they found the footprint up there.

it could be real or not. but wat i'm wondering is: if it's so real, how come the flag was all waving around even tho there's no air ANYWHERE in outerspace?

Oh ya....That is a good question...maybe the gravity on the moon made it blow or something...

Woah... *brain crashes to reality* Damn television. D< I never would have thought the landing on the moon to be fake.

... no air in space... *facepalm* Of course...

Well, when the flag was placed in the ground it's typical for things to continue their motion for a while afterward. And because the Flag was placed there the way it was, from sticking out so much, it's possible the astronauts might have bumped it, moved it slightly from the gust of them passing by it, etc...

    There's a few logical solutions.

    :/... Astonauts move like turtles...

The flag moved like something faster then a turtle went by it.

I think a better question or this thread would be:

    Does it matter? XD

well....i thot it was moving too fast for just after sticking it into the ground. it was going wild like there was a hurricane there or something. i remember i saw a documentry on this a few years ago, that's how i got that from.

there was also the problem of multiple light sources ie. there were like three shadows when the only light source would have been the sun. but that could have been the earth the sun and lights on the landing craft. the shadows were also complete shadows ie. pitch black because there was no atmosphere to scatter the light.

i saw this doco on tv like last year and they said the material of the flag was not that flimsy material but it was stiff and had some thing in it that made it stay horizontal. when the astronauts put the flag in i think they pushed it in some way that it sorta bounced so it looked like it rippled. i forgot about the rest of the stuff, like walking and crap like that.

That seems reasonable to me. I really think the whole "landing on the moon thing" was real.

    Wrong. Moon landing was real.

Multiple light sources. 1) the sun. 2) the earth. The earth doesnt absorb light, it reflects it too. Also, the surface of the moon reflects light as well. If you dont believe me on that one, look at the fazes of the moon. The light we see at night is light reflected from the sun.

The flag bouncing off the ground were astronauts rotaing it to get it deeper in the ground as one would do with a tent on earth. This causes natural ripples and wind is not necessary.
