is there a new spider man movie coming out?

 

*facepalm* It's a reeboot, it was announced last year, this is the only pic of it, it's not Toby this time playing Spidey its someone else (forget his name)

 

oh well the pic looks awesome

 

He's the dude who played Edwardo in The Social Network.

 

Doesn't honestly say much about the movie. The villains are far more important. We know that Spidey will be there, no matter what, and he always looks relatively the same. The villains are the ones that define it.

 

I think the Lizard will be the villain this time, according to rumors.

 

There is only one Spidey, and that is the goofy-ass Tobey-Spidey.


I also like that they somehow managed to make his spider-costume look even dumber than the original.

(Just kidding, the real Spider-Man is the one from the PSX-game)

EDIT: VVV ALL the movies sucked, Spidey 3 was just extra bad.

 

At least I hope it's better then emo spidey.

I can't hear you over the sound of the 90's cartoon, Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon and comic book Spidey's which will forever be better than Toby.

I'm hoping the villain(s) is closer to the originals this time, the Green Goblin was cool but wasn't much of a Green Goblin, Doc Ock and Sandman where pretty good compared to the others and then Venom shouldn't of been played by Eric Foreman.

 

I like it, the new suit seems darker and more sinister than the original, (Since this is all I have to go on from the film) but it looks good. I'm more excited to find out who the villains are, well, I never really watched/read any of the original spiderman I've only ever watched the films, which means I don't know what villains there could be. Anyway, thanks for the picture.

I have to disagree, I personally think that the first two movies were exceptionally good(especially the first).
Spiderman 3 was plain garbage.


Apart from that, this new spider-man looks much better than the sensation of saying chimi-chonga. But, as P said, the villains will define the movie.

 

Thank you, I'm getting so tired of my friends saying it was good, first things first I told them they don't read the comics so they would not understand, I'm not going to go off on a rant about Spiderman 3 because I think that movie has had so many bashing on that I think it's in the dust, I belive that I already ranted about why Spiderman 3 sucked on my old Youtube account, wich got deleted, goddamn you Youtube!

Anyway I belive that it's at a good start, all they need to do is show what the mask will look like, than I'll be satisfyed. I enjoy the dark tone in it, but don't make it TOO dark, if you do that then it's just gonna end up like Spiderman 3. Anyway can't wait to see more photos of the movie soon!

 

Just throwing my two cents in:

I found the first Spiderman as a very good movie to watch and it was fun watching all of the effects. Spiderman 2 wasn't as good as the first one, but that's usually how it is with sequels. It got boring at some parts, but it was still fun to watch.

With Spiderman 3, I actually liked the movie. Yeah, I haven't read any of the original comic book material, but I can get what psycho is saying here. I'd be very upset if they decided to turn L from a brooding genius in the Death Note manga to this upbeat person who you see in everyday life in an American re-make. It would be an insult to all the fans of the series (which is the main reason why I despise slash fiction). SM3 tried to be dark, but it was almost comical. However, you could tell that the actors were really having fun with their roles (especially Toby) and it seemed to capture my attention. Yes, the movie was bad, but it's one of those films that's secretly fun for me to watch.

 

The costume looks kind of like mesh to me. Which is a little disturbing, but I guess it allows for greater mobility? Anyway, I guess I'll see this movie whenever I see it. Be it on tv or a DVD at a friend's house.
