I used the search thingy and looked for a similar thread, but no luck. Anyone heard of Lacuna Coil? I haven't really paid much attention to them until my brother bought their latest album and...well, it was actually pretty damn good. The band has two singers(I don't feel like putting their names), a male and female. Off the top of my head Evanescence is the only band I can remember that has both a guy and a girl singing at once(sorry for my lack of other examples). Technically Lacuna Coil is "Gothic Metal" but...well, I dunno. Their latest album is called Shallow Life and they recently also released a live album...thingy. Anyone have any favorite songs/albums from this band? Mine is probably the newest album but I haven't listen much to their older stuff.
i dont listen to them to much, but i was not really impressed with their Enjoy the Silence cover. they are good but just not my cup of tea, i enjoy Nightwish a bit more
Personally, I find Leaves' Eyes, Epica and Nightwish to be far better bands than Lacuna Coil. They aren't bad and I do like Christina Scabbia, but they just aren't my thing.
Only song I've ever heard from them is Spellbound, which is okay I guess. I'm sure they have better songs.
I've got their album Karmacode, and a few other songs. I like them, but I wouldn't say I'm a huge fan of them.
I love Lacuna Coil, they're one of my favourite bands although I haven't listened to them in a while. My favourite songs are Heaven's A Lie, Our Truth and Closer.
