This Ouran High School Host Club avatars are only to be used on Kh-vids, yiu guys can pic out any of them except the honey one..since Im using it. CnC <3
Number one is too dark, and number four is too bright. Overall, the gradient maps (at least I assume that's what you used on these) are too strong. Try messing with their opacities and blending options. Also, try messing with curves adjustment layers, they change the lighting and can it look more realistic.
Im gonna be honest and say I don't really like any of them. The colors are obnoxiously bright and all of them focus on the same thing- the face- which is boring. The Tamaki one is especially too bright and the Haruhi one too contrasted. I think you ought to remember for next time that sometimes simplicity is the key. They'll also appeal more if they're 100x100 pixels rather than the mismatched sizes they are now. :3
I didnt want to mess with them because when I did, they came out a funky color...But I will try again later on. Gawed I must suck at photoshop D:
Don't feel bad, you just have to keep trying at art and soon you will become better... =3 I like Ouran High School but, the avis are just not for me ^^; I like my current one and I most likely will not change it for a month or year *shrugs* I like how dark the first one is though... It makes the hair seem pretty... Maybe it is just me though... The 3rd one seems and looks weird to me. I like the 7th one's pose sorta to I guess... Then again I don't use photoshop, I happen to use Paintshop pro when it comes to all of my stuff I create (or I just hand draw...)
