Kingdom Waffles

Footsteps were heard outside. Yuffie got up, pulled her stars out of the wall, and headed towards the only door in the room. She opened the door, but found she was in another empty room. Why is this place so lifeless?, she asked herself.
She saw another door in the new room. A larger door. Something like a front door. She rushed over and opened it, seeing nothing but emptiness. She sighed and sat down, determined to wait until someone showed up.
"I hope I don't have to stay here too long..."

"This place is deserted. Why are we still here?" Vincent asked looking around. In the corner of his eye he saw something move; he pulled out his gun faster than you could probobly see, and shot the moving object. It ended up only being a rock. It was in dust. "Just a rock..." Vincent murmured under his breathe.

 

Demyx's eyes rolled to the side, having Vincent in the corner of his eyes. "Easy quick-fingers. And we're still here because only to this point of view, it's deserted. For all we know, it's probably got people hiding or something." He seemed calm, but deep down he was panicing because he doesn't like being alone or with Vincent.

 

Vincent put his hand on Demyx's shoulder. "I'm not gunna hurt you. So dont be scared. Infact, I'm practically protecting you. I may be scary or wierd to you but thats just how I am."

 

Axel moved his mouth to side of his face in a scrunch. "Feh... how is he sapposed to believe that?" He gave Vincent his famous 'I dont believe you' stare.

 

Vincent turned around and gave Axel a death stare. "I think you should believe me." He said.

 

Demyx turned quickly to face Vincent. "I'm not scared! And I can take care of myself! I've done good already!" He didn't like showing the truth, but he was hiding it and he was very good at doing that.

 

".........." Vincent was thinking, then in a split-second he ran ahead looking at something on the ground. ".... Why is there a keychain on the ground?" he asked looking at Demyx. He picked it up and saw the shape at the end of it was a black crown. "....Wierd....." He thought.

 

Axel looked down. "Heh... not mine..." He said crouching down and picked it up and threw it back down. "Damn its freezing.."

 

Vincent put the keychain in his pocket. "So.... Where exactley are we going...?" He asked, "I mean, there's a bunch of stores, but no people."

 

Tilting his head he spoke. "I don't know.. I just woke up here." Axel sighed getting up.

Demyx was actually curious of whose it was. "Since when was there a keychain with a 'black' crown?" A hand went under his mouth, thinking a bit.

 

"I have no clue... Hmmm...." He said. "Hey let me see it again." Axel yelled at Vincent.

 

"Lighten up, red head." Vincent said tossing the keychain to Axel. "Ummm..... Why is that wierd?" He asked Demyx.

 

Demyx shrugged. "Usually they'd be bright and shiny, wouldn't they? Especially if it was a crown." He jogged over to Axel to examine it with him, blinking a bit, more in confusion instead of interest.

 

He held it up by the circular lock even though it burned his fingers. "Huh..." he threw it back at Vincent. "Listen up 'Vincent', don't try messing with me, Got it Memorized?"

His hands went behind his back, looking at Axel, then to Vincent, then back to Axel, and continued, looking amused instead of wanting to try to 'stop' them. Personally, he thought it was funny.
