Kingdom Hearts II KINGDOM Hearts...

Now, most people say that Kingdom Hearts is a giant heart shaped moon filled with hearts...but theres an element that most people are forgetting...Kingdom Hearts is a kingdom.

It sounds silly that I would just notice that but...every kingdom needs a King, right?

Who would that be?

I dont think its King Mickey...he cant be King of two kingdoms can he?

We know who the Princesses are. (The 7 princesses of hearts)

And, I kind of thought that the princes were keyblade weilders...

and I may be getting ahead of myself but isnt a Kingdom like...a region...like a world...?
Hmmmm...the door to Light and Dark might have other purposes besides getting back to the Light or the Dark Realm...afterall, simple heartless can go from the realm of light to the realm of darkness...

who ever said that kingdom hearts is a heart shaped moon is stupid (no offense).and i also wonder who is the king of kingdom hearts.but i don't know if this is right or not,but i think i heard ansem say in kh1 that kingdom hearts is the heart of all worlds.like a road to all worlds.and the idea of looking for the king of kingdom hearts for kh3 sounds like a good story to.

Although I disagree. Kingdom Hearts is a heart shaped moon. Or at least the region surrounding the moon (the darkness). Where has it been said differently?

As for a king of hearts... I am unsure who would best fit the role. Keybladers are like knights. Knights in fairy tales always rescue the princesses and become king.

The question is, who is the Voice at the Station of Awakening? I think that could be the king. In a Legend of Zelda Wind Waker style. (The king communicates with you through a crystal, and possesses your boat, guiding you without telling you who he is) Could the king be the Voice?

On the other hand, from the secret trailer of sunset horizons, I would think that BbS's plot could be about becoming the KoH, right? Baldynort looks like he wants to be the King of Hearts, when he summons it in the trailer.

The 'moon' Kingdom Hearts was a pseudo Kingdom Hearts made by the Organization. It doesn't have the same coloring etc of the real Kingdom Hearts. So, though it's in a place like the moon presumably in KH2 and also in BBS, I don't think I'd call it a moon at all since the purpose of it has been explained elsewhere.

As for what Kingdom Hearts is...it's supposed to be the Heart of all worlds. All of the worlds at one time were apparently one world that was split apart, if Kairi's grandmother's story is at all true. It links to all worlds and is the light through the Darkness. In Kingdom Hearts, you aren't even really traveling through 'space' but instead Interspace which are wormholes through to other locations which are all connected.

The Heartless (Purebloods any way) are manifestations of Darkness that if they were kept in Darkness would pretty much not be a harm to anyone, but because they were let out in droves into people's lives they are a big problem. Kingdom Hearts is the Heart of all worlds and where the Hearts return to when Sora or whoever destroys a Heartless. The Heart is meant to go there and be held until it can rejoin with the Nobody that is formed, or perhaps it goes on in the pattern of things that we aren't so sure of yet, kind of like a life and death cycle. It's also what I think would be an instrumental part of rejoining the worlds in the end, if KH is going to actually go that route someday.

About you and Erkz's conversation . . . just one problem. When the voice KH1 said "you will be the one to open the door" didn't he mean the door of light? Other than that, I don't think Kingdom Hearts is a region. If it's the Heart of all worlds, then each world is connected to it, or at least each world's heart. Then that would kinda explain why it's called Kingdom Hearts, because it's the thing that hold s together the Kingdom of worlds's Hearts. It makes sense.

Edit: And another thing about the conversation between pika_power and erkz: When xemnas was wearing the crown, wasn't that because he considered himself "king of the nobodies?"

 

yes, I understand that but Maleficent acts like its an actual region or world, and not a series of wormholes...
