Faya huffed, annoyed her attempt failed. "I am no street rat." she silently hissed under her breath. "So, Neo, on a comepletly different topic.... would such a King of Haven be able to heal me arms from the experiments? I need them for my job. No one thinks of a dancer with disabled arms worth much."

 

Cat smirked. The two of them acted like she and Adrien had on their trip over here.
Honestly, these two could probably go on for hours... plus I don't exactly have a lot of patience, especially for Haven trash like them.
She sighed. No point in storming off when he was her only shot. She just stood there, waiting for the girl to leave so she and Ash could get started.

 

Neo shifted his gray eyes to Faya and frowned, "Hmm...fix your arms huh? I suppose...but I'd have to consult with the Goddess Apollimi with you before I fix you."

Martel scowled at Neo as he hid a small smile of mystery.

Ash and Xenree argued a bit more before Ash sighed and called his Keyblade back to his hand, "I don't have time for this Xenree...if you want to be a jerk, go ahead. I'm sure Neo is expecting you back." he glowered at the ground as Xenree stepped closer to him and savagely bit into his neck like a vampire. He winced but didn't make a sound. When she pulled away she backhanded him harshly to the ground, turned on her heels and headed for the castle. Ash groaned slightly and muttered a few curses.

 

Jack couldn't help but peek out the door, noticing pretty much all the things after the battle was interrupted. He turned and stared at...Adrien, was it? And some other geezer. He walked over, before saying, "Hey. One of your friends are fighting outside. Thought you should know." Well, that was a dumbass move. His keyblade would say. Shut up. Jack mentally showed anger, as he could tell by his raspy voice...mentally.

 

[/COLOR]Adrien chuckled, "Yeah I know...everything is messed up now."

Neo twirled on his heels and left, several portraits on the walls shifted to keep an eye on Martel and Faya.

 

Faya looked around, her eyes darting to the paintings. Her body was feeling heavy under the weights of the paintings' stares. She almost shrank back, but her jumpy feet kept in front of Martel. "What're you doing?" she glared.

 

Martel sighed, "Faya...have you ever heard of the Goddess Apollimi. King Neo's parents...they're the God and Goddess of Haven."

 

"What's that have to do with now? The paintings are moving!" Faya growled, unsure who they were. "And no, to answer your question, I don't know."

 

Martel glanced up and smiled. "Oh, nevermind them. See," she pointed to a painting, "These are all old heros of Haven. That one is Captain Ashenvale Novella. The one next to him is his father, Hashmal Novella. The rest are really old heros...most of the Novella family." She stood and brushed her hair back, "Apollimi and Enoch, the Goddess of Peace and the God of Destruction. Neo is a mix of peace and deastruction. It's a miricle he's able to resist his father's tendencies."

 

"Well great history lesson Martel but what does that have to do with NOW?" Faya growled again, wondering now though about the Novellas.

 

"The paintings are bespelled to keep watch. They're return to their immobile state when Neo returns." Martel chuckled and waved to a painting of Hashmal. He waved back and his hard tanned face relaxed in the picture. A moment later, Neo returned and each of the paintings returned to their poses. "You're lucky...Apollimi is willing to do a favor for a denizen of the roads in between. I pray you survive is all."

 

Faya blinked. "Survive?" She bit her lip, worried as to what that meant. She squeezed Martel's hand with her own invisible one, slightly stepping forward.
