It was funny how they had liked each other all the years... but it only took one event to get them to tell it to each other. What was the point, though? Why tell someone you love that you love them... only if they're going to be taken away from you soon. Sora should have told Kairi years ago... But it was too late for that now... Sora knew what Maleficent was trying to do, now. If Kairi was killed, Sora wouldn't be able to go on... Sora knew that... and now, Maleficent did too.

 

ooc: so close and yet so far. *Sigh*

Alex appeared back at her room. She slammed her fist into the wall hard. "Damn it. I was so close to getting her head. I wonder what Maleficent has to say about this." Alex sighed. "Ohh god."

 

"It's alright, child... you merely went about it the wrong way." said Maleficent's voice... she suddenly appeared in a huge black and green flame.

 

Alex jumped. "Don't do that. Wait, what do you mean the wrong way?"

 

OOC: D'awwwwwh... cute music! I love that song. ^^

BIC:

Kairi let the silence settle in between them... She knew that Sora was deep thought, but that was alright... This brought her back memories. The time where Sora sacrafice himself for her and turned into a heartless, then he came back and embraced her. Same happened after waiting a year for Sora and Riku to return on Destiny Islands... She was kidnapped by Organization XIII, but then Sora found her. Then, she never wanted to let go of him, but there were still things that needed to be done. Now, it was like a Deja Vu... Only there was a different feeling around them this time. She could feel it.

 

"Of course it was a good plan... but Xert detected you immiediatly... you need to overcome his machines." said Maleficent "You needed a distraction... chaos... If Xert and the others are concerning themselves with other matters, then Kairi just might not be there problem. What you need to do is gather my armies of darkness... overrun Xert facility with heartless..." Maleficent smiled "They will win the battle, but winning is not our primary objective. Among the chaos, you will find Kairi then and kill her. Do you understand?"

Sora kissed her head and started to pull away... It wasn't safe... they needed to get back inside where the cornerstone of light would protect them.

 

OOC: :sideways: My friend is looking over my shoulder while I'm writing... She thinks this is really cute. ^^;

BIC:

Kairi snapped out of her little thought bubble when she felt Sora pulling away from her. She realized it was time to let go and did so, putting her arms behind her back. She looked down at the ground and sighed out. Now she really wanted to go home... Back to the Islands.... but they were stuck in another time and it almost seemed impossible to do so.

 

ooc: You seem really excited about that...

bic: Sora lightly pulled her. "C'mon, let's go inside..." said Sora as he waved in Xert and Riku.

 

"Yes, but now they know the true side i chose."

 

OOC: Noooo... she is, not really me. XD lol

BIC:

Kairi flashed Sora her gentle smile and nodded her head. She was waiting to follow Sora to a safer place. She brought her hands in front of her and walked a little forward, but still stayed in Sora's sight and close to him.

 

"So? They won't even know your there... until it's too late!" said Maleficent.

Sora lead her all the way to the corner stone of light. Then Sora grabed a chair and put it next to the corner stone, so Kairi could sit.

 

"True, but what if that plan fails? What then?"

 

"Then, my dear, we will simply think of another one." said Maleficent plainly.

 

"Right." Alex walked to the window and stared out at the horsion.

 

Xert was already in the control room. He was setting up anouther warp. The city would have to warp 2 times before getting to the destination.

 

As Sora and Kairi embraced each other Riku stood idly by, just as he had done at the castle that never was, but the truth was that it hurt now just as it did then. He didn’t show it and didn’t say it, but it was still there. He had always had feelings for Kairi but so did Sora. Both were willing to do whatever it took to protect her, but it was Sora that she fell for and Riku had to respect that. Someone had to end up with the short straw at some point and it just happened to be him. At least he wasn’t crying about it like Sora would be…

 

Kairi smiled at Sora and then plopped down in the chair that Sora pulled up by the Corner Stone of Light. She sighed out slowly and then looked at the looked up at the swirling light that rested within the stone. She smiled quietly, watching it from where she was sitting.

Tai pulled back behind the wall of the alleyway and sighed out. Only Riku was there. The others walked off. She bumped the back of her head gently against the wall and then slid down to the ground, instinctively pulling her knees up and hugging them to her chest. She buried her head in her arms, staring down at her pant legs. Tai didn't know how to face them again. She couldn't just randomly pop in and say, 'Hi! Remember me? I'm that one person that followed you around all the time!' She shook her head, and then let it rest on her arms. "What to do..."

 

Nox walked out of the medical center. He was getting tired of getting hurt all the time. He needed to see the Lancealot see how bad of shape it was in.

 

Sora got himself a chair next to Kairi's and decided to relax himself... Things were getting worse all the time... Sora just had to enjoy the moment for what it was...

 

Kairi's eyes drifted from the orb with the glowing lights and around the room. Things seemed so different, always changing. She was still getting use to the idea about Xert's army and everything that involved in it. Her gaze faltered downwards to her clutched hands in her lap. She just stared at them, going off into a deep thought.
