Kingdom Hearts: Time Matters

A claw energy grabed Alex and flung her back and ito a wall. Xert held his hand up obivasliy controling the claw.

 

"Why can't you people stay out of my way!" Alex spoke furiously. Dark aura ran toward her body and she broke free from the claw. She flew towards Xert and threw him to the wall harder.

 

DIZ and Sora could hear the battle going on but didn't know what was happening

"More heartless?" asked Sora

"No, it is something more... the heartless would have been destroyed by now." said DIZ

"You stay here, Ansem. I'll check it out." said Sora who started running towards the battle

 

Kairi stayed close to Riku, watching the battle. Alex was here to kill her... Things were starting to click into place now. Kairi quickly summoned her keyblade, keeping it close to her just in case. Xert was protecting her. Well... she could run now or try to help Xert. Helping Xert probably wasn't the best idea though... Then again...

 

Xert put a red shild over himself. The girl hit it when she tried to attack. Xert broke open the shild and blasted Alex with two orbs of energy.

 

Alex blasted the two orbs with green fire ball. Not good. I can scene Sora coming closer. I must get out of here but I mustn't fail my mission. Damn this is hard. Alex thought.

 

Xert launched two orbs at Alex.

 

Alex blocked one but lost her grip on her sword and got hit by the other. "Ugh.." Alex stood up and made a portal and fled. Those loser will pay. She thought

alex was unable to open a portal. They were being jamed. Alex was stuck there facing a Nobody eith years of more experiance in magic.

 

Alex looked over at him. Then a hug gust of wind came out of nowhere and Alex dissappeared.

Kairi stood there, just blinking her eyes. Well, at least that's over... Kind of quick, but at least I'm not dead. She sighed out slowly. "Thanks Xert for keeping Alex away from me."

 

Sora came running out, unaware of everything that had just happened. "Hey, guys! What's going on? Are heartless attacking again?"

 

Riku had wanted to fight but he could not let Kairi get hurt so had left the fighting to Xert. Even with Alex gone though Riku did not entirely drop his guard. What was to keep him from just coming back as soon as every thought it was safe? To answer Sora he said "It wasn't a heartless, but she was trying to kill Kairi"

 

Kairi gasped when she heard the voice. She recognized it straight away. She had to be sure it was him though and turned around to look for herself. There he was, coming to them. "Sora!" Kairi broke out into a run and met Sora, almost nearly glomping him. The realization of what would've happened had not Xert been there slammed Kairi in the face. She would've either been hurt very badly... or worse.

 

"What? Kill... Kairi!? Who was?! and where are they!?!" yelled Sora

"Omph!" yelled Sora as he was practically tackled by Kairi. He hugged her and held her close... He could have lost her... He kissed her on the check and hugged her tighter.

 

Kairi burried her head in Sora's chest, just glad he was there. "I've been looking all over for you earlier," she said quietly. "Thank goodness I finally found you..."

 

Sora held her "It's alright..." said Sora. What am I going to do? Sora asked himself This plan failed... but there might be others. I can't let her out of my sight! Sora held her close... He had already suffered losing her in Xert's training... He didn't want to do it again.

 

Kairi looked up at him, her eyes watering a little. Mostly it was the fright she finally felt, and the happiness she felt to see Sora again. She could see something else was bothering him though... "Sora...? Is something wrong?"

 

Sora looked at her and smiled "No... nothings wrong... Shh..." Sora said trying to comfert her. Then when she turned back into his chest, he looked at the ground... worry filled his face... "Nothing at all."

 

Kairi laid her head on Sora's chest again, feeling his cold necklace against her cheek. She closed her eyes and hugged him tighter again. She didn't want to go out of Sora's sight at all. First, they were seperated at Twilight Town when Sora got upset, then now, and then there were a few more times, but she couldn't keep track of it. "I'm just glad you're here..." she whispered.
