Kingdom Hearts: Time Matters

"I don't know... why?" asked Sora

 

"there are 3 of them," Xert said, "Light, Darkness and Twilight."

 

"So, you do know that Replica already destroyed the one for light right?" asked Sora "And does this mean we have to destroy the one for darkness?"

 

"If it had been destroyed none of us would be here. The realm of light would have colaped in on itself and create blackhole that would destroy the realm of Darkness," Xert said, "it's here on this world. it's the only thing keeping the people here from becomeing heartless."

 

"But isn't that how Maleficent and the others got into Disney Castle? Without the cornerstone of light... the castle was unable to protect itself against Maleficents forces..." asked Sora

 

"I can replicate the efffects of the Corner Stone of Light," Xert said, "what makes you think the ennemy couldn't do the same. Thats how they got through. And they used mainly a Sombody force."

 

"I guess your right... So, what's the plan?" asked Sora

 

"Get the Corner Stone of Light, head to the Realm of Twilight to get the the Corner Stone there and head into the Realm of Darkness and attack Sithos direcatly. Then finaly get all the Cornerstones on one world and watch every world come togeter," Xert said. The ship finaly touched down.

 

Sora's eye's widened... Kairi's grandmother told a tale of the worlds being one...

"Long ago, people lived in peace, bathed in the warmth of light. Everyone loved the light. Then people began to fight over it. They wanted it for themselves. And darkness was born in their hearts. The darkness spread, swallowing the light and many people's hearts. It covered everything, and the world dissappeared. But small fragments of light survived... In the hearts of children. With these fragments of light, children rebuilt the lost world. It's the world we live in now. But the true light sleeps within the darkness. That's why the worlds are still scattered, divided from each other. But someday, a door to the innermost darkness will open. And the true light will return. So, listen, child. Even in the deepest darkness, there will always be light to guide you. Believe in the light, and the darkness will never defeat you. Your heart will shine with it's power and push the darkness away. Do you understand, Kairi? Kairi!?"

Could it be? Is that what Xert intended? "You... want to reunite the worlds?"

 

"yes they were once united but a war between the Dark Lands and the Light Republic. Now in the Dark Lands defence they did not fire he first shot. In fact the Dark Lands were on the brink of destruction. Until Sithos," Xert said standing up.

 

Sora exited the gummi ship with Xert

 

"He discoverd a large orb under ground that with it he was able to lead a resitance agiest the Light Republic and take back the Dark Lands. But Sithos knew if he didn't make a coner attack they would always be defending. So he lead an attack into the Light Republic. At the end of the bloody war the Light Republic which had become a Monarchy due to the leaders dieing right and left. Left there home in serch a new one. But without the Corner Stone of Light the world was unable to maintain it's mass. So it broke apart into the worlds that you see now," Xert finished as the two wlked into one of the medical tents.

 

"I see... well, everything wasn't that bad... until I got sent to the future and was unable to stop Maleficent, that is." said Sora "If I could be sent back to my time, I could stop her! And all this!"

Ansem the wise walked out side... why this looked like The World that Never Was... but it couldn't be... everything was so different... unless...

Ansem the wise ran back inside "We're in the future?!" Ansem started to panic "Did you get caught in it too? Is Xemnas still alive? What has transpired?"

 

"When your machine overloaded I returned to my normal body and you simply vanished. Sora and I finished off Xemnas and then we all returned home. After we were home for about a year Maleficent sprung a trap. It seems she descovered a time spell and sent us here, 70 years in the future." explained Riku

 

Xert shook his head, 'you would have never had been a match for Sithos.'

 

Ansem rubbed his head and combed through his hair. My god... He thought "What... what can I do?"

"What? Your saying that if I go back in time I won't be a match for Sithos? Well, sorry if I disagree with you on that one..." said Sora

 

'He's immortal Sora,' Xert said, 'I found out when I first fought him. He can't be killed infact I've searched for years to find his weakness but the his book was gone.'

 

"I never thought you would ask me that." said Riku "As far as I can tell returning back to our time might be impossable, so we try to do what we can in this time. Since Maleficent has had free reign for 70 years she is much more powerful than she used to be. And the same can be said of all her allies, including Xehanort's heartless"

 

"Maybe not in my time... He couldn't have been immortal forever... He must have obtianed his immortality some way... When did he surface?" asked Sora

Ansem got a long red cotten rope, and wraped it around his head...

DIZ looked at Riku "Perphaps I can get my revenge after all..."

 

"He's been around for thoasands of years. But I estimate he became imortal durning his forties. How I don't know. Or else he'd be dead by now," Xert said.
