Chapter One - The Boring Year Ever since the fall of Xemnas, life had become boring for Sora, Riku, and Kairi. They had not so much as seen a Heartless or Nobody on Destiny Islands. Sora had tried to tell Tidus, Wakka, and Selphie, but they just laughed and said that it was an entertaining story. They finally started believing him when he showed him his Keyblade. Sora was sleeping on the beach, the tide slowly raising past his shorts, when Riku came up, Keyblade in hand, and woke Sora up saying that they need to battle a little bit to prevent getting rusty. Sora got up yawning and got his keyblade out. While they were training, Kairi came to the island and started watching them. She had done a lot of training with Sora and Riku and now was almost as good as them with a Keyblade. She still had no Keyblade of her own, and whenever she asked Riku for a Keyblade, he always gave it to her, saying, "Just keep it, I am never going to use it anyways." After they were done training, they just sat around and relaxed. There was not much to do other then that on Destiny Islands, and it had been the same schedule over and over again. So, how did I do for my fist fan fiction? It is only chapter one, I will get more chapters later. Damn, I was hoping I could get a unique title, turns out it is almost exactly like Axels#1fangirl title. Even worse, it is currently below this topic.
Try writing it all in past tense. You switched between "has" and "have" a lot. I wen't through and corrected the grammar mistakes in red so you could see them. Try making the chapter a bit longer too. And maybe get a more original title.Other than that, good job! Great for your first ever.
Chapter Two: The New Resident Sora was sleeping at the beach again, he preferred it to sleeping on a bed, he woke up with Kairi sitting next to him, with a smile she said "You finally up sleepyhead?", yawning Sora said "Yeah, I'm awake.". "It's time for combat practice Sora, so get ready, today it's my turn." Sora had gotten up a summoned the Keyblade, Kairi had learned how to do the same during the year, and easily did the same. They stared eye-to-eye and then Sora made the first move. Kairi was quick enough to guard the first attack, but was hit in the side by the second attack. She had gotten used to this and was not affected by it much and she tried to jab Sora right in the stomach. After an hour they were both sweaty and exhausted. "You've improved a lot Kairi." said Sora. As he finished his statement a bright light could be seen from a distance, this light was followed by a loud explosion. When the light subsided they could see a teen aged girl floating on the water. Sora decided to swim out to the unconscious girl and brought her back to the island. She was breathing just fine and was merely unconscious. They brought the young girl to Kairi's house and set her on Kairi's bed and let her be. Several hours had passed before the young girl woke up. She had no idea where she was, and walked out of the house. Sora was the first to see her and walked up to her and introduced himself. Sora asked her about the light, and the explosion, but she had no remembrance of the explosion. "What is your name?" asked Kairi. "Kasai." she said. "Do you know where you were before you woke up in that house?" "No, I have no remembrance of anything up until this moment." There was a pause "I will be needing a place to stay." "Well, you can probably stay with me." said Kairi. Is that long enough? Or should I make the next chapter longer?
