Demyx turned away from Riku in disgust. "Just great. Not only did Axel two time on Roxas by helping Sora, he also seems to have wooed Riku." Demyx was close to dispair. He had left the one powerful place he was in, because of their attitude and failure to supply him with a heart. Instead he found the other powerful group that had another chance of giving him a heart. Just his luck that the group he joined would decide to go on a suicide mission. Now he had a choice. Either he could flee again, he could go with them, or he could guard the tunnel and wait for news of their demise. Some choice.

"Bah. Leave someone else to cover your backside. I have another idea. How about actually telling your friends what is going on? You are as bad as the Organization. Never mind informing others of the danger, just let them get hit unprepared. I will go and try to prepare the worlds. "

Demyx glanced at Sombre. "Watch closely. The trick is to not show fear. You are in command, not the darkness." He sharply snapped his fingers at the area in front of him, causing a large egg shapped black hole to appear. He started to walk through it, glacing back to quickly say, "Watch out though. If you rely on it too much, you will become part of it."

Riku stopped and turned to glare at Demyx. "How dare you say that? We aren't being in the dark about anything or asking people to go who don't want to. You take that back!" He was really annoyed now and clenched his fist in agitation. "I know you have this dread thing going on, but it doesn't have to bleed over on us and Axel didn't woo me. Doing the right thing, Demyx, sometimes means you take risks. You have to actually -do- something if you want a Heart. You can't just run away all the time. Believing in your friends is obviously something you refuse to learn amongst us. You should try it now that you have the opportunity to actually HAVE friends!" Oh yes, Riku was glaringly and so obviously frustrated.

Demyx stepped backwards out of the portal, basking in Riku's emotion. Demyx loved the genuine feeling in Riku's voice. That was always the thing he couldn't ignore. When caught up in a heated emotional moment, Demyx found it easiest to forget he didn't have a heart. He lost himself in the intensity of the heart, almost feeling what was happening. It was like he was a person with few tastebuds, and the stronger the food, the more the flavour got noticed.
Certainly the emotions displayed did not bring him joy, almost the opposite. But the fact that they brought him closest to the wall between him and his emotions gave him enough reason to relish the experience.
Demyx turned back to Riku, and snapped at him with the same anger he displayed. "Who else can actually do anything if you fail? Have you told your buddies at Radient Gardens about the Spirit Sucker? Or are they clueless of it? Will the first notice they get from it be when they get attacked?"
Demyx scowled at Riku. He knew the game well enough. Riku had used a low blow with the friend comment, so he was supposed to react in turn.
"And another thing, you somehow come to the reasoning that it is a good idea to walk mindlessly into a deathtrap. Yes, yes. I know we need to help them, and it is the moral thing to do, but surely you can at least consider how to deal with an outcome that isn't complete and utter success! What are you even trying to achieve?! HOW?!"
Demyx got more and more exasperated, hurtling verbal attacks at Riku. He was really in the swing of it now. They would bounce words back and forth, getting more and more hurtful. Eventually someone else would step in, or things would dissolve into violence. Of course Demyx knew this, but the vague possibility of that was far less important than the emotions at hand.

"Stop it both of you!", Sobmbre shouted,"I am sick and tierd of the bickering between you, why don't you just let it DIE".

Sombre's normally pale skin had flushed to an angry pink and her hand was raised.

"All it's been since you two first met is andger and asrguements, why don't you just live and let live for olimpus sake!". She was angry now, and Sombre knew in her heart of hearts that she really didn't need to be reacting this way.

"Just ... mhhph", she said as she threw her hand down in an demonstrative gesture. However, it did not have the effect she was expecting. As soon as she threw her hand down a small ball of purple and black matter flew down towards the ground, vaporising one of the cobbles in the street.

    "Errr ... woops ...." she said, appolligetically. " I ermm ..,. didn't mean that."

  5. Naminé did not say anything as they all made their destination to Twilight Town, mostly because she did not have a opinion on the matters at hand, and there was no exact reason for her to talk amongst the rest who were making good points. Not that she didn't like it. She was quite partial to serenity and silence, especially if it gave a chance to linger in her thoughts when she had nothing to deliver otherwise. She could hear Demyx still disagreeing, and coming up with more reasons not to go to The World That Never Was, and truthfully, he did sound confuse as for why they were doing so. Naminé herself knew she couldn't bear if they left them abandoned, when they had the chance to do something much more in term of assistance. At least, to offer, and in the end, it will be up to the Organization to decide their path. They had tried, and attempted it, and they would know permanently they could not do anything else for them. Just staying here, nonetheless, and not taking action, was a bit cold. And then, there were the reactions. She did not know how Repliku would take to the members he did know, and she herself did not know what exactly she would think. Larxene, despite being less torturous than Marluxia, and was almost a companiable female to speak to when with her at times, was still malicious throughout the whole ordeal, and Axel was the most simple to not interact, as he never paid any attention to her at the most. She definitely was not looking forward to see Marluxia himself, and Vexen to her was neutral, as while she hated what he had decided to be Repliku's fate, she never really got to know him to place a exact opinion. He did have his own cruelty, though, so he wasn't exactly favorable to her. She didn't hate them, but none were people she would want to be in contact with again concerning on further harm. That reason alone.

Axel was the only one who she really connected with in the end, yet, by that time, he had greatly changed. For the better, no doubt, and she admittedly liked him the more she bonded with the man, and got to really know him. There must've been a reason, after all, why Roxas was his best friend. Roxas...that was another dilemma, though they were to see to him soon now. As she went into her musings, Ansem's suggestion went through her delicate ears, but the abrupt yells stopped her from replying immediately, and Naminé turned her head to see Demyx and Riku arguing, only for the girl...whose name she had not yet caught, told them to cut it out. It was there she noticed that they were in the alleyway of the town, and while she did not want to get into this, she spoke quite timidly, self-conscious mostly because she had not said a word for the longest time, "Demyx...I understand you, I really do, as I share the concern, but as you can see, all of us have decided. Is...is okay if you don't want to go through with it." She sighed. "I don't know...the idea of sending a few of us first sounds good, but, who knows what other complications might come from it, and we don't really know how powerful, or how much of a army, this...Spirit Sucker has. We all might be in danger as we speak, me, Roxas, and you more, so we're already put on chance just as the rest of Organization. We do not know what this enemy is honestly planning..."

She gave him a sort of sympathetic look as she tilted her head, before reverting her exotic periwinkle eyes to Ansem, with a set determination, but with a loving smile, which matched with her tone as she clasped her hands above her chest at her soft-spoken answer. "I'll talk to Roxas, then. I mean, if I could go right now, that is..."

Larxene narrowed her eyes at Xigbar pointedly for his comment, before a big smile graced her lips just as suddenly as she looked at him too happily, her hand giving slight wave of dismissal as she sat more comfortably in her throne as she snipped, "Oh, I'm sorry, Xigbar. I didn't know your input actually mattered in a conversation that had nothing to do with you."

"I think we are getting a bit off-topic," Xemnas interrupted strictly, the end of his words in obvious hint, very dangerous and seemingly showing his patience was getting thin, as he gazed at the blonde girl with a look that said he won't tolerate more of her sharp mouth, more so as he had warned her before. He could see her giving him a look of perplexity as if how was this her fault, when, particularly, Saïx began the topic with his offhand statement, but he just did the righteous act, and ignored her as to not get off the actual importance of what they were planning now as the rest were. It wasn't much that he was reprimanding her for the discussion, but her mannerisms. She needed to show respect, not only to older members, but altogether for the cause, something she had not done before when the Organization was at its prime, and he suspected that Castle Oblivion, along with the fact that she did not think them a liable or real group from her perspective now, garnered her head to be too enclosed in terms of being reckless and doing what she desired. A year earlier, she would sit there daintily, in her seat, with her ankles crossed, and listen to each plot quietly without adding much to it, except her reactions and thoughts on the matter, which either came from rolling her eyes, laughing, or some other physical form that made it appear like a insult when a precise time called for it. She was insufferable in the past, and she was so in the present, but it was doubtless she had more self-control back then.

Taking his gold eyes off her, he nodded, attempting to get them to focus. But, he landed on Zexion. "The idea that you have shared is a great one, yet, that also has to depend on whether exactly they are truly planning to come and help us, something that I'm still not sure what I think of concerning the act, or if they want something else entirely. Also, I do not think our effort is necessary, truly, as I am certain they can get through with who they have just fine if it's in the entrance that I am suspecting. They will first head to the Data world that Roxas was encased in if they go through the entrance I am suspecting, then Betwixt And Between automatically, and Ansem, even Demyx, I'm sure, can portal here after...to which place in this world is best suitable. It could be any ally, any street, any wall. Actually...I am fairly interested to how they would pull it off...it is doubtless a very complex situation. There's my curiosity if those who hold the Keyblade make a difference in the portalling as well, and in turn, we may find out if this new entity might be wanting something to do with them, if anything at all. We will continue this further. But first, we need to decide on our candidate, because what we need to focus on is a source of communication to know where we all stand, with each other. So we have one vote for Larxene by Zexion, and one vote for Xaldin by Xigbar. Saïx?"

"I am still undecided, Superior," Saïx responded, his mind full with current thoughts of which member to choose to go ahead with this mission. He was siding to Xaldin, yet, he wasn't the one who they needed to put into a dangerous action with his clean record, and lose him. But it was this loyalty, that also made him the perfect man for the job that is required. Larxene, was the type of young woman that would not be able to produce a peaceful conversation no matter what the cause is, and she would probably end up fighting one of them, than actually announcing the news, and attempting to figure out what they were all planning. A part of him, however, also wanted a test. A prove of liability for the female. It was him, every time, to push forward on the boundaries of traitors. Despite that he was thinking of having mutiny, he had come to the senses now after the apparent failure he experienced left, and the lack of Heart he had yet to possess. He remembered telling Axel specifically to watch out for betrayal on Castle Oblivion, and worked on destroying Axel himself once he defected.

In the end, what decision was good for them? If the group, the one with the wielders, are deciding to come to their world for a visitation, then sending Larxene, whether she did her work or not, would not change the positive outcome that still presented itself. It was in this way, that they won't risk Xaldin as well if it goes array, and remain with a sort of opening that can be worked with. Mulling this over more precisely as Xemnas waited for anyone else, that being Axel or Marluxia, he gave a stern nod. "Actually, I choose Larxene as well. Xaldin is too valuable."

Xemnas stared at the man, before accepting the finality of his tone. It seems Larxene was up on the votes. "Very well. All that's left now is Axel and Marluxia to give their tally."

"I'm so loved," Larxene told herself amusedly under her breath as her hand supported her chin, laughter in her tone and a cheerful smile on her face, knowing very well the reason why these men were choosing her over dreadlocks in the first place, ever since Zexion.

Ahhh, how she enjoyed negativity cause by her actions or past actions. Bless.

Demyx jumped backwards at the appearance of the dark attack, thoroughly shocked. The spell the emotions had over him was broken for a moment.
Quickly, he brought his hands together and hurridly doused the area the darkness hit with a torrent of water from his hands. "Woah! Looks like you've got the hang of that darkness! Although you will definitely not want to do that too much without proper control. He" Demyx nodded carelessly at Riku, "Will tell you that."
Demyx frowned, just remembering the argument. Suddenly he pointed directly at Sombre.
" 'Let it die'? 'Live and let live'? Usually I would. If he wanted to go and risk his life, fine! Hell, he can even take a buddy with him to help. The catch is, he is pulling everyone else in with him! If he dies in his insane plan of courage, no one will be left knowing about the threat! All the residents of the world will die unprepared. If they are unwarned and all their best defenders went and got themselves eaten, they woud die a horrible death! Now I can see the Organization doing something like that. I can see Xemnas throwing away our half lives with a callous nature, but I thought you were the good guys!"

Demyx waved his hand, dismissing the idea. "I guess sacrificing your whole party in search of glory is the new definition of good guys."

Jack became tired of waiting and decided to portal to them.He jumped to the scene in time for the arguement between riku and Demyx.Jack listens to what both of them says and then he decides on his actions. He hits riku hard in the head with the hilt of his sword "Hey moron, stop acting like such a fool.Doing what you think is right and doing the right thing are two totally different things. This could be the worst possible thing in the history of TWTNW.Also don't talk about friends and the heart as if you are a model person who has never taken either of them for granted" next Jack slaps Demyx with the back of his hand so hard Demyx was nearly about to fall down "Do you honestly think that we are all foolishly optimistic.I've already gone over the scenario a number of times in my head since i heard about this a couple of hours ago and in most of them at least one of us doesn't make it and i.....well that information remains with me for now.Making a plan is hopeless without information. As Xeahnorts heartless once said, as you can recall riku 'he who knows nothing can understand nothing' which means that without any form of common ground on the situation we cannot create a plan that would be anyway affective.Unless of course you've got some great information on this thing that could lead to us beating it without effort? No, then shut up about a plan because we've got nothing to work with.Even if we had a plan the chances would be that something would change in the situation which means we'd have to alter the plan.Obviously you don't like they way we're doing this because your a coward" Jack opens a portal."Go if you want because anymore of that moaning and i won't be responsible for my actions. If you think we're making this decision to rescue the organisation lightly then you obviously are brain damaged as well as heartless. You can't expect me or riku or sora to protect you when we get into this.I'm not going to guarantee you anything. If you come you come if not get out of the way and let me handle it" he said as his eye's turned sharp white and towering pillars of white lightning spiked up in front of riku, demyx and sombre. The pillar destroyed the dark magic that was just used by sombre.

Riku was trying to remain calm and found a center to rely on, looking at Sombre. He knew what she was going through. He was there himself a year ago. He would try to help her if she'd let him. "Sombre, sorry things got so intense there but I didn't even think it was so bad. You were right to ask us to calm down. Just yeah, Darkness works as it does. Other than making a little crater there, no harm done." He tried to give a smirk but another matter was on his mind...called he had been -hit-.

Riku turned to Jack and rubbed his head. Oh that smarted and he was annoyed far more than he had been with Demyx. He shook his head at Jack. "You, however..." He forced down rage from being hit. Oh he wanted to beat the tar out of Jack for the insult and attack. "You aren't above anyone in this group and have no call to put either of us 'in our place'. I don't need to hear the insults from you and I'll ignore them -this time only-. Had you paid attention to either of us, and known us, you'd know neither Demyx or me were going to actually physically fight each other. You had no rights to hit either of us. Don't do it again and learn some patience and tolerance. I won't deal well with things if you go hitting someone else again in this group for no reason at all." Riku cut himself off because he was going to add some more but felt it would get pointless and only belittle what he was trying to get across. He hoped Jack though would learn more control and to keep his hands to himself before the Org showed up which were more likely to just squash him like a grape rather than speak if they were assaulted. Maybe Jack had just had a bout with Darkness too or he just preferred to do things this way. Right now all he could view the person as was a bully that thought he was superior to the others. Jack's words stung more though than the actual hit. Riku didn't feel in any way some guy who was a clear hypocrite should be saying such things about him when Riku had spent a good year atoning and was more than aware of his failures. This guy knew a lot but so didn't understand any of it as far as he was concerned now.

He then turned to Demyx and Sombre again because right at the moment he had nothing else to say to Jack who had crossed the line with him. "Sombre, if you want help with Darkness, maybe Demyx and I can try to train you together if you are up to it. Part of that is learning emotional control because Darkness interacts with well, your negative emotions. It makes things unclear at times and can encourage you to overreact. I remember going through that a lot and I had to learn to really control my temper that was never so prevalent before I had Darkness awakened in me. I hope this makes sense to you but it's almost like you have to watch yourself and learn new methods of dealing with new emotions."

"And Demyx, I'm sorry to you. I was listening to you. It's not like your opinion doesn't matter to me, okay? I just want you to understand that and that's why I got upset with you. I want to be your friend and also we're more durable than you think. Give us some credit here, okay? We'll figure out things but for now we were just talking them out." He rubbed his head again and fixed his hair and then decided he wasn't going to keep reacting to the bruise on his head. It was nothing serious even if it stung.

DiZ stopped and looked at Namine. "Yes, if you would go get him, it would be appreciated." He had been listening to the words of the dispute with Riku and Demyx. He felt the wave of Darkness well up in Sombre and then dissipate as she cast some Darkness at the ground. Turning to face her he studied her curiously. "You are an intriguing woman, Sombre. How long have you wielded Darkness?"

He then turned looked at Jack. "Please do not hit the others in such a manner. They were nowhere to escalating a fight and there is no reason for a Darkness Portal to try to encourage or force Demyx. You do not understand his nature and he will get this out of his system when the time is right by the words people say to him and his will. All Nobodies have certain reactions to things that occur and this is his. When he is needed most, Demyx will be fine. I do think you owe these two an apology for brutalizing what was just a debate on ethics at this point. People do that. They talk. You too may need to think about how it is you let Darkness govern you, Jack. The action you took was hasty and quite unneeded as I do not believe either of these two had any intentions of beating each other up over their feelings. Think about it. Was what you did, manhandling them, really necessary at all?"

He then looked at Riku and Demyx. "The plan is still in the workings, Demyx. Please realize that we need to acquire Roxas and we will move on. Riku, you need to calm down as well and we all need to have patience. Jack, and anyone else, relax for the moment and try to think here. No one needs to force anyone's hands to do negative things. We need control if we are to help the Organization and right now what just occurred should not be repeated. We do not have time for that. Let Namine retrieve Roxas and we will be on our way and negotiate the final plan at the point we must cross."

    ____________

Xigbar smirked at Larxene's comment. She was a smart woman but she was also ignorant at the same time. He could not help thinking though that she had such a wonderful potential if she could rise above certain qualities she possessed. He may just change his vote but eh, for now, it didn't matter. He was chilled, relaxin', and letting Xemnas do what he did best.

Zexion gave a nod. "You are right. They could show up anywhere, and I would be surprised if they did not choose to come, but we can help weaken that corridor perhaps. Then we may have to search for them. If they had a choice to come to what spot they would, where do you propose that might be?"

Xaldin looked over at Saix. Saix had said what he did as clear as day and he went to studying Larxene. If they sent her to rendezvous with the others, ...he still was uncertain she'd actually help them through the corridor and not just run off merrily to elsewhere. After all, she had worked with Marluxia so willingly to better herself. Maybe though Saix was right. For now he debated in his mind and listened to Xemnas and Zexion trade off commentary.

Note: Has been edited to include Namine.

Demyx felt a sharp sting on the side of his cheek. It took a minute to get what just happened, but then he whirled on Jack. "Yeah, I can see why you'd want to go to save them! You'd get along nicely with Larxane. She enjoyed slapping people as well. Then again, you're more like Saix or Murluxia. The newcomer trying to become the leader of the group through sheer force. How long before you start kidnapping girls or slapping them around? Or perhaps you will go further than them. After all, they have no heart. They only have their personalities from before. They cannot adjust. But you have a heart. You can be consumed by darkness. It's a slippery slope."

Glancing over at Namine, he punched the air. "Finally! Someone sees my point! The reason we should only send a few of us is because we need an army ready in the case of failure. We can see that this Spirit Sucker is able to slaughter in numbers, as it is gathering all the nobodies. So sending our whole team is pointless. Far better to send a kamikaze group, right?

"My ideas are not through fear. After all, who would really want to be left here after everyone has gone, waiting for the Spirit Sucker? I would rather have a quick death there than a slow resistance doomed to fall out here. This is why I think we should inform the other worlds and leave some Keybladers behind. Let's not commit too much to this."

Demyx turned back to Riku and nodded. "Fine. I can get that stuff about needing to rescue the nobodies. To be honest I kind of miss my Dancers..." Demyx scratched behind his head awkwardly. "My only dispute is that we all recognize that this is a risky business. As Jack loves to say, we know little of what goes on in there." Demyx made a sweeping motion to the portal Jack made. "So there is a strong possibility that we will all, uh... die. I don't just mean one or two of us, but the entire group in whatever method the Soul Sucker is going to use to get the organization's souls.
"I think that if we know that, we should prepare the outside worlds in the case of our deaths. We could leave a few of our members behind, both to be fighters if we fail, and to be messengers, to prepare the worlds."

Demyx glanced at the portal again, and turned a slight shade of green.
"I need to come with you as well. You may already have users of darkness on your side, but you have only one who can help you with nobodies..."

"That would be great guys, if you'd be nice to me", Sombre said to Riku and Demyx. Then listening to DiZ she answered:

"The darkness ... I remember ... when I was little ... It seems so silly now ... Someone stole something from me I think He was ....-" But before she could finish, she suddinly had a blinding pain in her head, it was seathing and felt like an axe had just rent it in too. She knelt down on the ground clutching her head between her hands."Please ne more, no more ..." she wipmered.

Riku gave a nod to Demyx. "Alright, well I do agree maybe everyone should not go so we'll keep that in mind when we get to the corridor area. I do feel you should come along though with me and Sora if you would. I also feel we're going to need a few others to go in, but you are right that we can leave some on the outside in case something bad happens."

Riku then turned to Sombre. "Sure thing, we'd be glad to help you." He then reluctantly looked at Jack. "Hey...can you just try to not be so brutal with people, ok? I'm not going to keep being mad at you as grudges are lame and well, you do want to help so if you can just kinda chill, it'd be nice. I don't really have this ego you assigned me. I do care."

DiZ watched as tensions rose and fell over cross words and hits but it seemed that things had quelled for the most part. He then listened to Sombre and as she dropped to her knees he found himself going over by her and kneeling down to put a hand on her shoulder. "Try to relax and breathe slowly. Those may be repressed memories that you fight and if they are meant to come or not now, you will know but try to be calm now. Perhaps at some point when we have time, Namine can assist you." He hoped the young woman would be alright.

OoC: Hey, Repliku, does the "No text talk or abbreviations" rule extend to acronyms like TWTNW?

Demyx shrugged, and looked downward. Two of his basic instincts were clashing. Was he to refuse to go back to The World That Never Was and survive, or would he go with them and embark through the tunnel towards a possible heart, with a very hazy light at the end that could be his eyes tricking him?
Slowly he considered. Before, he had been willing to risk his life for a heart, but that was only because Xemnas forced him to. If there wasn't that constant pressure to obey, would he have chosen differently?
Really, he would be risking his life in a double or nothing. He would either regain his heart, or his entire being would be stripped and consumed by the Soul-sucker. Then again, perhaps not. No, he would be risking his life for the faint glimmer of a heart. The death was a certainty if he failed.
Did he value the possibility of a heart over his existence?
    Yes.
"Fine. I'll come with you to The World That Never Was, provided you leave at least two of the four keyblade masters behind to inform the worlds and battle. Fair enough? I shall be trying to herd the Nobodies out into Twilight Town. I doubt I will have had my control stripped just yet. But if I have, I suppose I'm screwed." Demyx gave a cheerful smile. "Sounds good, right?"

"Riku i was perfectly in line to hit both of you because you were bickering like children.Remember you said riku" he then said in a mock voice "'atleast i have friends' i'm tired of Demyx idea that we need a plan and continues to bicker about it besides just going away and stop annoying us.You might think of me as a bully that thinks he's great and suprior but i don't.Were all equal here.Voice wise we're equal but power wise in general i can summ....forget that last part.Demyx if you want an arguement do it somewhere else.Riku if you want to continue with that kind of childish insulting then go back to the islands" he said finishing.

"Oh brother, another one of them..." Demyx muttered to no one in paticular.
He put on a sarcastic mimic of Jack's voice. "We're all equal here, except for everyone who wants to discuss the mission. Oh, and I am the overlord of our group, allowed to punish when I see fit. Of course, we are all equal in voice. After all, Demyx ought to.. How was it put? Go away and stop annoying us."

Demyx glared at Jack. "An argument now can save millions of lives later! Would you rather us discuss how we shall do this, or just take everyone we meet into the danger zone? At the moment, it seems as if you don't care about the worlds. You may be used to doing what you want, and being king of your hill, but the Keyblade masters have a duty to the worlds to protect them! Whatever risks they take aren't just for them, but for the entire universe!"
Demyx glanced at Riku worriedly. He had just spoken for him, and dictated his duty. If Riku were to overturn him, it could cause some problems.
"You seem far too eager to go into battle than you should. How much has the darkness tainted you? So far you seem to be showing most of the signs, right Riku? Anger, short tempered, a strong belief that your powers are better than everyone else's and a love of violence. Are you in control, or does it control you?"

"Obviously telling you to shut up complaining and arguing isn't going to make you shut up so...." and jack drew his blade with a storm of of lightning "...We need to settle this.If i win you shut up,follow and add to the efforts if i lose then argue to your souls content" he said as he pointed his blade at demyx."Riku before you decide that this is going too far no it isn't.We need for him to stop or nothing will get done.Demyx you can't back down from this before you ask.You decided not to just to do something out of empathy you decided to bicker and annoy everyone.Ansem don't dare to stop this.If anyone tries to stop the fight i will knock them out of the way.Once i win this match demyx will shut up and we can continue with what we're supposed to do" he said finishingly.

Sombre slowly breathed in an out, trying to numb down the bitter sensation in her head. Slowly but surely it ebbed away.

"Thank you, Ansem ... the pain ... was so strong ... it felt like someone had driven an Axe through my head."

She turned towards the quarrelling three people.

"Errr... I think I might have an answer ... what if I made a portal. I think that whoever is blocking the way into the world that Never Was may be blocking specific people's portals. What of one of us went in a portal created by me? I've never made a portal before so whoever is blocking them won't be able to block me. That way, someone could scout out the situation while we get there ourselves. They could meet us at a given time after we come through. What do you think?"

    Then she turned to Jack.

"What the hell do you think you are doing, we should be talking not fighting. Did anyone ever tell you as a child that fighting is not the way? Just give it a rest already!"she pleaded in an insesent annoyed tone,"what is it about men that makes them love fighting so much?"

Riku shook his head. Jack really was totally just not right in the head. "Jack, stop and look at what the hell you are doing. Right now. Just stop."

Riku's hand extended and Way to the Dawn appeared. "Think. You told me and Demyx to stop arguing. You actually -hit- us both and we -let- you get away with it. You are technically the only one that is keeping this argument going. It was such a distraction before when we talked..now it's escalated again to physical violence. I don't think so."

Riku twirled Way to the Dawn over his knuckles and then brought it defiantly at Jack as he moved and stood protectively in front of Demyx. A white beam erupted from Way to the Dawn's tip and would careen into Jack, sending him to the ground a few feet away as the power of Light would course into him to lower the Darkness within. It was painful but it also would work in affecting the man's Heart.

"Demyx is not a slave. He is a member of our party. No one is going to have to 'fight to speak' here. No one. If that blast did not help you put things into perspective and quell the Darkness to get sensibility and rationality again, I don't know what will but I will go the lengths to find out to save you and to spare this party anymore trouble. You say he's wasting time but in essence he was trying to help you. He knows more about Darkness than you should want to admit and when he speaks, he ought to be heard. He's a Nobody and if you keep going in the way you are, you will be knowing what it's like to live in his shoes. You are not only wasting our time trying to initiate fights but you are sure causing a scene and it isn't cool. Chill out." Riku stood firm between Jack now and Demyx, prepared if Jack would get up and try to retaliate.

The attack he did was meant to assist Jack and yes, he knew it would hurt as it had to Beast when Sora had to help get the Darkness lowered in him from Xaldin's workings. He had hopes that was the problem as he studied Jack now but he wasn't taking any chances if things were going to grow worse. I didn't want to do that but if that's the only way...it is. Am I going to have to really fight this guy to get it through his head he's not -all that- and can't just go around hurting others? /I] Riku watched keenly awaiting the next move. "Let's try to get along now and remember what we are doing here. We sometimes need as much help as those we assist. Especially when it comes to Darkness."

"And lastly. You don't -know- me or Demyx or anyone here so well as you think. You may know our pasts on a limited angle but it doesn't give you a right to stand above us or play the role of some oracle. Why I fell to Darkness wasn't just because I could and it was a power trip. I was wrong for it but not -that- wrong. I was a foolish naive kid, suckered into things and misled and where things are my fault, I know and I've worked on myself to be better and that is a continuous battle. You've got to do that now, Jack if you don't want consumed by Darkness. I'm willing to help but I'm not a martyr either that is going to take verbal or physical assaults to do so. I'm not egotistical but I'm also not that low on self-esteem. And so you know, using Xehanort's Heartless's words is the last thing you should do. He didn't 'know' either and it was by his failure of knowledge that he was defeated. Whether we all argue or not from time to time, you included, let's face the facts here that all of us would like to make things better and sometimes arguments need to happen to clear the air and communicate. It -never- has to escalate to a show of prowess so don't go there again. None of us has to justify ourselves to you or stand against you so that your point can be won. If you want to force it again you won't like it so stop the bravado and try being a friend. Be -one of us- or don't. It's your choice now."

DiZ nodded as Sombre recovered and would offer her a hand to rise to her feet and stood up himself. "You aren't going to know where to Dark Portal to and we have to use a corridor. We will be there soon when Roxas is recovered, Sombre. I am glad to see you are alright again." He studied her a moment and then turned to look over at the second time force was exhibited. He found himself smirking at Sombre's words as she inquired why men had such an issue. "If we knew that answer, there probably would not be wars ever again." He found himself agreeing with Sombre at this point. Most kids did learn that hitting others was wrong, after all.

Though acting with elegance and grace when Marluixa entered the room from the portal of darkness to sit upon his seat, a very vague feeling of chilling fear of the confrontation shivered through his skin, as he knew this would be the first time he’d be appearing before the Superior following the events at Castel Oblivion. He sat at his chair, back and body stiff, and his cold, blue eyes staring at Xemnas from under his hood while he too stared back with his own deadly glare of doom. The stress and the slight hint of fear and nervousness seemed to build up as Xemnas continued to stare at him coldly, however, it was in Marluxia’s nature to keep cool and calm at these moments, and so he did. Marluxia kept every feared thoughts to himself, bringing the energy of it down into his fists, curling his fingers around the edge of the armrest, tightening them per second as the stare-off seemed to last for the next few long, uncomfortable minutes. Not a single word came to his lips, knowing every eye in the room were on him on the moment. It actually did not bother him, not really. He regretted nothing...none of his actions were of any regret to him, even when it ultimately led him to his oblivion, and even when he was now facing Xemnas, knowing that he’d angered the Superior royally, and if anything, he’d be sent back to the same darkness from whence he came. Knowing all this, Marluxia feared not, and continued to keep to his cool self. The very heavy stare-off ended once Xemnas himself looked back at the new nobody standing at the middle of the room, and Marluxia did the same. Everything was a bit strange to him, his and some others’ ‘rebirth’, the appearance of a new nobody...what had happened to everything and everyone after his passing at Castle Oblivion? With whom did he talk to before waking up from his ‘sleep’? The questions were still fresh on his mind.

As he continued to ponder on everything, whilst watching Xemnas giving instructions to the new arrival, the sound of a very familiar female voice reached his ears, immediately followed by an object hurtling towards him, which he caught with ease and grace. Looking down at the object and recognizing it as a tape recorder, he finally glanced up at the blonde from under the darkness of his hood. Looking at her did nothing to him, recalling their crimes together in Castle Oblivion. Marluxia didn’t know how long it had been since the events of that castle, but as he continued to look at the girl, he saw that nothing had changed about her. She still wore her ego and pride in her tone and the same devious smirk still ran across her lips. She sat on her chair with confidence, looking at him as she spoke, telling him the purpose of the device before he’d asked any questions, only to turn her attention back on Xemnas and the new addition. A small smirk came across his face too as he looked at the tape recorder and back at the woman [half of him wondering why she had the device, and how she got it]. Larxene too was a traitor like him undoubtedly...well maybe more of less, but she was considered a traitor nonetheless, and the rule of the Organization was simple, the only punishment for such perfidious crimes was dismemberment from the organization by death. There was no alternative, no matter elementary the crime was. Sure enough, his crimes were of higher treason then her’s, as he after all was the mastermind behind the conspiracy; however, with Larxene still alive and sitting comfortably on her seat beside him, and judging by her cool expression despite her treachery, he deduced one thing quite clearly, that their punishment was definitely not the first order of business at hand as everyone seemed to be more concerned with other issues over this. In any case, he turned his attention back at the take recorder, placing all other thoughts aside, he wondered what it was that that man had now lectured about. His eyes trailed off momentarily to the other members currently present in the room, and he gave a small nod of acknowledgment to Zexion, eyeing him as once again as old memories flooded his mind. Zexion too was known to keep a calm and cool demeanor much like his, whilst internally, he could be scheming up a storm, it was in his nature and persona after all. After a few brief seconds Marluxia leaned to the side of the of his chair, resting his elbow on the armrest, he brought the tape recorder close to his ear once he lowered the volume for only for him to hear. It was then that he’d heard the deep voice of the Superior address him once more, and this time...welcoming him? Well, that was certainly unexpected, but he wasn’t going to complain either.

“Xemnas.” He nodded in return as he now acknowledged his so called ‘welcome’. Things really were at a very interesting turning point, he thought, raising an eyebrow as he listened to the next few sentences that left Xemnas’ mouth. So the Keyblade Master and his friends were on their way to their world. There were things with which he must catch up now, as he disliked being left out of the circle of information, so he once again turned his attention back on the tape recorder, knowing that whatever was said by the Superior prior to his awakening would have him caught up with the current events. Literally, listening to the speech with one ear, while trying to comprehend the ongoing conversation at present [minus the useless bickering between the Berserker and the blonde], Marluxia sucked in all the information necessary to have full understanding of the situation that they lay in. So they were trapped within this world, but not within the walls of this castle or world, and they faced a new, unknown and perhaps a more powerful enemy that seems to like playing games, and they, the nobodies seem to be its favorite toys. Intriguing. Yet, it still bothered him somewhat that the new enemy’s intentions were connected to their very souls, and a false step would only mean the complete obliteration of their existence permanently. It was a fearful thought. Marluxia had always consider his existence to be something of much importance, and the total eradication of his existence was something he was not going to allow. Well, that was that, and then some. According to the current ongoing discussions, it also seemed that Roxas was not present among them was apparently located in Twilight Town presently and Demyx had somehow escaped the confines of this world and sought help from the little brats, and now they were on their way to help them. Ha! How quaint! So the Organization had become so incompetent that they now needed help from the Keyblade Masters and their Everything only seemed so amusing to him, yet he said naught a word, neither did he make a sound as he only continued to listen with much interest.

The final decision had come to this then, that it would either be Larxene or Xaldin who would ‘welcome’ the Keyblade Masters into this world, and it all depended on whom he and that damned, insane pyromaniac voted on. Larxene was the first name that came to his mind for some reason, but Marluixa considered a few things before announcing anything regarding his decision. Xaldin would obviously have been a good candidate of choice for retrieving the kids since his cool demeanor would most likely result in a hopefully positive outcome. Both the true intentions and reaction from the Keyblade Wielders were also somewhat hazy since some of them are know to be hotheads [but then again, that attribute was what that made it rather easy to manipulate them as well], and get defensive over nothing; some sort of a battle was surely in order no matter who would end up going. Well, then Axel would have been a good candidate if Xemnas and the rest were hoping for a positive outcome, since he seemed to have made a friend with Sora back at the castle, and Roxas would apparently be accompanying them, but then again, Axel was a wildcard, and who knows when he would change his mind about what his priorities are when he’s in sight of his blond obsession. Lastly, in consideration of Larxene, she probably would be the perfect candidate for this. Marluxia smirked as he considered the fact that if a fight was in fact roused between her and the Keyblade Master and his haughty friends, and the outcome of it happen to result in her death again due to her overconfidence, then his most primary witness to his deeds in Castel Oblivion would be taken out of the picture, and he just might be able to get away with more than he could have with Larxene being present if and when he was punished for his treachery. However, amusement was also a part of it, yes. He definitely wanted to witness the outcome of her facing the brats that evidently destroyed her, and it would be nothing less than entertaining. It was still obvious nonetheless why some of the members did vote on Larxene when Xaldin would’ve been more suitable for it; it was definitely a test to prove her loyalty to the Organization and redeem her trustworthiness. Well, whatever it was, there were profit for him in sending Larxene to the task, and that was his choice.

    “I vote Larxene.”

Sora once again had been quietly going along with the flow, pretty much ignoring the continuous argument between Demyx and Riku, trying to keep his thoughts in himself since he did not want to contribute to the whole argument and entice it even more. As they passed through the dark portal, darkness surrounded him and the sense of others being present other than them was certainly there. Sora summoned his Keyblade, keeping it close to him, just in case something were to go array. Thankfully, the summoning of the Keybalde was unnecessary since they soon made their way to the end of the portal and entered the oh so familiar scenery of Twilight Town. It was the same as last time, thank goodness, the enemy had not yet come to this world, and that was a relief. The air was still timid and the lonely streets still remained in that calm serenity that was still there even when the place was filled with nobodies. Now the lonely brick-paves streets seemed all the more inviting for him to run around town again. He took a deep breath as he remembered the friends he’d made when he was here during his last journey, and the small adventure he’d had with them when trying to access the alternate Twilight Town. Hayner, Pence, Olette...he wondered how they were, and what had changed. Meeting with old friends was something Sora always enjoyed and he couldn’t wait till he saw the three again. Not to mention Roxas was here as well, and this would be the chance for Sora meet with him again, and maybe...this time, getting to know him better than he did already know. He was his other, his Nobody, and it’s a rare chance that one gets to meet and actually talk with their own Nobodies [or let alone have one such as Roxas at all]. Naminé and Kairi had the chance to meet and talk, something Sora never was able to experience to the full extent. Ah, it was too good, and Sora was getting hyped up just to get started! The constant argument that was taking place in the background had seemed to turn into what you might call a background music, though Sora still understood the point Demyx was attempting to make though his whines, cry and screams. Through all the melodic background music, he also did hear the instructions given to him by DiZ, and glancing back at the man, he gave a small nod of confirmation. He was totally up for the task of finding Roxas, and the sooner the better...and the sooner they can concentrate on their main task, attempting to make their way and entrance into The World That Never Was.

“Sure, Naminé and I can go get Roxas!” He said energetically with the biggest grin across his face, “Don’t worry! We can handle everything. Right Nami—HEY!!!” His sentence was cut short as Riku was suddenly hit upside the head by Jack with his sword for acting too childish and had also slapped Demyx for being a nuisance, basically insulting them to the most lowest level possible. Sora did not waste a single second before summoning his Keyblade as he ran to where the three stood, and made his place between Riku and Jack. “What the heck do you think you’re doing?” Sora exclaimed pointing his Keyblade directly at his nose. He could tolerate anything, anything at all...if it was him being insulted, that was fine, but not his friends. Never. “How dare you lay a finger on Riku? Or Demyx? You’ve NO rights to come here and insult them, let alone HIT them! He’s the perfect model of a friend with a heart, mind you, and I don’t need your opinion to know this. How much do you know about the sacrifices he’d made to save my life!? Tell me, just what DO you know? Nothing, Jack, NOTHING! Riku has never neglected his friends because even when he embraced the darkness, he did it for his friends! He’s paid the price for and I’d not trade his sacrifices and his friendship and loyalty for anything. He’s done more for me than a brother would, and you talk of him taking his friends and heart for granted. From what I see, you are the one with a dark heart, Jack...because you cannot see the light in Riku’s heart, and you can’t see the hope Demyx has...and you talk about light and darkness.”

Keeping his Keyblade aimed at him for a few seconds more, he lowered it. He knew he could not make himself to hit Jack, unless he dare attack Riku again. Once a mistake is forgiven, twice there’s penalty. “Listen Jack, I don’t want to fight you and neither does anyone else here. Please apologize to Riku...And Demyx. He’s our friend too, and he’s helped us with what he can offer. But I don’t see you contributing to the plan anyway. We’re trying to come up with a good plan here...the best way possible for us to go fight this new enemy, and arguing with each other is a way to come up with good strategies which would have the least amount of flaws. If you do not like it, then it’s your problem and you are always welcome to leave. We’re all friends and we’ll all fight together, side by side. Now Apologize to both Riku and Demyx please.”

With that, Sora stepped to the side, hoping that the conflict would now be resolved. Unfortunately, that did not seem to happen as Jack’s next move was to unsheathe his sword and ready to make an attack on Demyx; the only way to shut him up, according to Jack, was to pick a fight with him. However, before Sora, or Demyx could react to anything, Riku took things into his own hands, shielding Demyx immediately and summoned his Way to Dawn, and with a swift move, sent Jack down on the ground. Everything just happed so fast that Sora made it to Ruki’s side after Jack hit the ground. He too was now shielding Demyx and ready to fight if Jack still intended on taking this further.

A saddened feeling came about Sora, wondering what had happened to all the good hearted people that he once knew and believed in. Had the darkness in everyone’s heart spread to eliminate all the light? What had happened?
