    Mickey, Donald, and Goofy are probably the most well-known characters in history. CGI isn't going to ruin it. Who said it had to be set in real life? This is Kingdom Hearts, it's about as far from real life as it gets.

    DBE was god awful. As a DB fan the characters were INO because everything else was so far wrong it sickened me.

    Anyway, I still think an Advent Children-like movie might work.

    When I saw that they made a live action Death Note movie a couple years ago, i was a bit hesitant. I still have not seen it, but it did look good.

    The difference between Death Note and Square Enix things in general (KH, FF, etc.), is that Square makes things extremely meticulous, especially clothes and some worlds in FF. So to do a live action production would be very difficult to pull off and make the costumes look legit rather than a poor cosplay costume and hair.

    SE already has the capabilities of making a movie, we have seen it not only in FFVII Advent Children, but every cutscene in a game is a little "movie". They have the technology, creativity, and the resources to make a CG movie like AC. So my guess would be; why wouldn't they just make it themselves? Unless, they are really busy to do so...

    Actually Square Enix no longer makes movies. They are too meticulous. Final Fantasy: Spirits Within had cost far too much and didn't give them the returns they needed. After that the studio died. Unless Square thinks they can bring it back (unlikely since Square is struggling some) then they aren't going to do that.

    Though they are entering that overly realistic graphic state with Final Fantasy vs 13, depending on the reception that may be a step towards the return of the studio.

    That is true, i did notice that. But I also think they would have to play their cards right. Advent Children was a hit because there are a lot of FFVII fans and it was the first ever (I think) dubbed voicecast for both Japanese and English.

    If they were to make a KH movie, i think that may help to raise the funds they need. I would buy it in a heart beat, and i think it is safe to say, that a majority of KHV would too. I think it's all on what they make and how well they think the audience will like it.

    Really? I personally think they would ruin the series by making a movie. I mean KH is great and all but a movie seems ridiculous. With advent children they did well and it was probably luck. Plus why risk the money and the support by making a movie. If they screwed up some people wouldn't give them a chance. I mean they seemed to go downhill for a bit in my eyes. KH1 and KH2 were amazing. Hands down two of my favorite games of all time. Then there is days and Re: COM which were good games but compared to KH1 or KH2 they weren't that great. I think they should focus more on their games than a movie.

    I think if it were live action it'd ruin it, but i've seen some basic animations of KH and i think it could make a good anime.

    I don't think KH should be an anime or cartoon or whatever. I just don't think it would work well, unless it was an anime based on the manga instead of the games because it's difficult getting the plot of a game across in a manga since people can be unsatisfied with how fight scenes that where gameplay was. Also, some parts of the game would not work as anime at all so they'd have to add more dialogue in certain parts. But if it was the manga I'm sure it'd be easy to make an anime of it.
    Then again, it could be an anime with a story that happens between one of the games or something, like DMC.

    Amd I guess. But it can't be that hard to come up with a plot for the anime. It'd be easier if it was based on the manga, yes, but a bulk of it could take place on the main island and Destiny Islands.

    I believe if anything, an anime would be most suitable. SE has had the experience of such things in the past, so i wouldn't doubt them at all if they were ambitious enough to do so. The only thing i see that is faulty, is the fact that KH is far better as a video game in my opinion. Maybe if they made an anime adaptation of the already KH events, kind of like the manga. If this is the case, i'd be all for it!

    Let me explain myself.
    I am one of the people here who thinks the anime wouldn't even be good if Disney made it,Besides the story's kinda confusing and you know how Disney's aim is more towards 9 year old girls and boys,Not 13-24 Males and Females.
    I choose anime because Live action would be ridiculous.
    Disney XD would be more -acceptable to an extent,but still Disney​

    Kh anime on Disney XD. Disney Channel is for young children, in my opinion. And live action would be so weird.
