This is probably the best honest trailer I've seen yet.

Aside from that botched pronunciation...

All the pronounciation jokes and he didn't make fun of the whole X-blade being pronounced exactly the same as keyblade thing.

Also.

 

Hmm. You know, now that I think about it Kingdom Hearts is kinda silly.

 

I often question if I would still like many of the things I like now had I discovered them recently, rather than years ago before I knew to apply critical thinking (or thinking at all, in this case) to entertainment. Kingdom Hearts definitely falls into the 'No' category. Nostalgia can be a powerful thing.

 

I don't mind if someone makes fun of something I like (in fact, I'm all for bashing on things I like), but this guy was just going for the low hanging fruit.

Tell some jokes.

But seriously, this guy has a better knowledge of how the Xehanorts and Ansems and stuff are all connected than I do! I say good show, HGT, good show! :)

This is really quite funny XDD Probably my favourite one they've ever done because well, it's just pure hilarity. Ah goodness I'm dying XDD

 

Really? Wow, even with how much more analytical as I am now, I'd still find it hard to not enjoy Kingdom Hearts. At least, the first one and Birth by Sleep. II's got a super convoluted plot and Chain of Memories has level recycling and Dream Drop Distance depends on if I have any knowledge of the story beforehand.

 

There's no denying that it's a very fun series of games, but everything else is so absurd that it would be hard for me to get invested and stay invested.

 

Ha he nailed it XD Except the pronunciation :S Errrrqus and Xeh heh nort. But yeah I love Kingdom Hearts as much as anyone, but it's all kinds of hilarious to poke fun at.

The humor in this video is not lost on me. I'd actually like to see a cinema sins-esque video on Kingdom Hearts. These videos should never be taken to ... heart. Hold them with a grain of sand. They're all in good fun. College Humor makes fun of way more stuff and is even harsher but they're still funny.
