"Well, that's one way to do it," Jeffrey said.

 

emma woke up and walked up the stairs to the others "will we ever get to the top" emma said exhausted

 

Eden sighed. " And I thought my friends were better then that. Giving up when the going was just easy. Oh well, if you're just gonna give up, head back to the Gummi Ship."

 

"im just tired cuz i didnt get any sleep last night. im a little hyper from eating pixy stix though" emma said

 

"Well, you can make it to the top~!" Eden said, smiling. She turned over to the floating rubble left from the stairs and started to hop on the pieces.

 

I hope I can keep my balance, Jeffrey thought. He swallowed and started hopping across the pieces behind Eden.

 

Valerie was staying put, looking at what seemed like the bottomless pit below. She gave a nervous whimperand shut her eyes tight, not moving a muscle.

 

"you guys go on. im gonna stay here and help valerie up because im scared too" emma told them

 

" C'mon you two! It's an illusion! There's probably the floor close by, so we've got to face our fears! Do it for Sora and Riku!" Eden said, already at the other side.

 

"that may work for valerie, eden but why would i wanna do anything for sora and riku?" emma asked

 

Jeffrey turned around and hopped back over. He grabbed Val's hand. "Come on," he said. "I'll help you."

 

Valerie shook her head. "I told you guys, I'm scared of heights."she said.

 

"I am too," Jeffrey said. "But if you don't pay attention to what's below you, you get through it."

 

"im still not going. ever since the 50 ft. water slide i went on at camp ive been afraid of heights. i almost fell off that thing!" emma said walking away

 

"Hmmmr...."Valerie was whimpering like a scared puppy.

 

" Alright Emma! I guess you won't find out if you can give Riku a new Drive form!" Eden giggled. She hopped back over to Valerie, and held Valerie's hand. "Me and Jeffery-kun will help you, don't worry."

 

"id rather be in MAR with ginta" emma closed her eyes and pretened ginta was right next to her helping her hop her way up the stairs. emma started hopping up the stairs pretending ginta was right next to her

 

"Okay..."Valerie said, trying not to look down.

 

"Wait," Jeffrey said. "By illusion, do you mean the broken part, or how high up we look?"
