Kingdom Hearts: Struggle for Earth

"What?!"Riku looked around, trying not to panic himself. "Crap...Oi! Help her out!"He tried contacting his darkness. "Oh, I'm sorry...Even if I did want to help, I don't have much power to tame that feral darkness from behind this door..."Riku groaned in annoyance at the voice. Riku didn't want to leave the others by themselves due to maturity issues. He needed to find a way to get to the Station of Calling and still sub-conciously have control.

 

Eden panicked, watching this little snake of her darkness consume a few small memories. She tried to peer at a few memories before they went out, wondering if they were important or not. "I can't tell what its eating... it looks like its not eating anything important." She edged closer to the door holding away Riku's darkness, watching her own poor out more. She noticed a few memories of when she and Riku first met were starting to fade. "He's eating the memories of our interactions!"

 

"What?! Why the hell would he-"Riku was confused. The darkness inside of Riku watched as Eden fled from the darkness, the shadowy figure seeping out of the door once more. "this is pathetic..at least the boy had the courage to fight me..."the voice huffed, dissapointed.

 

"Well I never faced my darkness before, and this thing eats memories!" Eden panicked, unsure how to deal with something like this. It used to be so tame, compared to now... It started consuming outward, more towards the childhood memories. "If I'm so pathetic, you do something! I know you can! I've played the games!"

 

Wesely made it up the path, he was now ontop of the monolith. He turned around with his gun raised expecting Heartless trailing after him. He was pleasently suprise to see nothing folowing him. Wesely turned to see the top of the Monolith lit up with single lines of light. Wesely imagined it looked like a masive keyhole from the sky.

 

"Well I would, but my true potential lies within this door, locked away...Oh I could have sooo much fun with this thing if I could unlock my true potential.."the figure looked over to the memory eating beast. "Well its not happening!"Riku growled, heading away from the others for a moment.

 

Eden could feel her heart pounding to the point it could hurt, panicking. The beast looked at the memory she was sitting upon... It was of Riku's late family members, and other old important memories. "N-No! Don't you dare come here!" she yelled, watching it prowl closer.

 

Riku could feel everything going on, and he had enough. I'm sorry Sora...He sighed."Fine!"He hid into a cave along the mountain. "Hey, do you see that?!"Valerie could see what looked like the keyhole in the distance. "Yeah...Come on!"Sora started to head off in the direction of the keyhole. "Riku...?"Valerie noticed that Riku wasn't around.

The door to Rikus darkness opened, and the darkness rushed out, taking the form of a large dragon. The dragon looked down at Eden, deciding that it did owe its releasor a favor. The dragon rushed at the memory-eating beast, slashing at the darkness with its claws.

 

The feral darkness growled, biting back. Eden watched in small fear, wondering the strain it was take upon Riku. "Shadow... You better come in... I couldn't save some of your memories..." She watched her darkness pounce, not as strong due to it being a fraction of the original. Some tiny fractions were starting to ooze out, nibbling upon memories like rats.

 

Riku was in the Station of Calling, unconcious. The dragon took to the 'skies'-so to speak- rapidly divebombing on the darkness. "You need to give back some memories, I do believe. Learn your place, beast, and give them back..."

 

Eden ran to her unconscious friend, trying to help him come to.
The darkness however, was stubborn. At least it knew well enough to run to its origin. It bounded for the door to Eden's Station of Calling, squeezing back in.
"I'm sorry about this Shadow..." She looked at the holes in the memories, seeing that he could possible forget her, some time in the Secret Place back on Destiny Island... But that was the start if the little tiny rat fractions kept nibbling away at the memories.

 

The dragon easily started squishing the rat fractions that were nibbling at the memories. It looked at all of the memories that were still intact, giving a small snort in pride. Riku slowly came to, shaking his head.

 

Wesely woundered what to do next, he had no way to seal the keyhole. Wesely's only hope was that Sora and the others showed before the Heartless would over run him. Then Wesely saw the shilds go up and suround the top of the monolith.
"So your the only one to make it," Wesely heard a woman's voice behind him.

Eden sighed with relief, relaxing a bit. "Shadow, you're okay..." She looked to his darkness, nodding her thanks. "Sorry I'm so pathetic..."

 

"You're not pathetic...There was no way you could take something so wild on your own."Riku sighed.The dragon huffed, expecting to go back into the door that contained it. "Alright...As long as you behave yourself...don't try to take over this time..."Riku said. "Well,its about time you see it my way... I'll behave for now, boy..."

 

Eden sighed, looking at the damaged memories. She wasn't sure if Riku could ever regain them, she had with a few... "Shadow, could you tell me if it ate something important? I can't tell..."

 

Riku looked at a few memories. Suprisingly none of his memories of Sora had been taken. "It doesn't look like any of the important memories were taken. a few minor ones.."He looked at all of his important memories. "Sorry about all of your memories...."he frowned.

 

Eden shook her head, it was fine. "Its fine. I'm not that important anyway." she seemed to smile at that, besides, he barely knew her.

 

"Hey, you're more important than you think to some people..."Riku chuckled. He could hear what was going on in the outside world as everyone was rushing to the keyhole. "I should get going..."he said.
