"Well, if we're gonna meet the others, we better get started!" Kairi replied. "Uh... where's the entrance...?"

 

"I have NO idea!"Sora said, smiling. He took a look in the front of the building, dusting things off to try and find some kind of message. "Hmmm.... Lets see...."Oblivion suddenly lunged forth as he came across a section of the Sphinx. "Keyblades. Never let ya down..."Sora chuckled, leaning against the Sphinx. Suddenly a panel lifted, Sora falling foward on his back. "Ow...."

 

Kairi helped Sora back up onto his feet. "Clumsy as ever," she giggled. She looked through the entranced, but saw nothing but black. "We're going to need a light."

 

As if on cue, oil lamps lit up along the hall, leading to a large room. "That was creepy...but convenient."Sora smiled, heading foward to the large room. Statues and treasure littered the area, a large stone slab showing the keyhole. "Jackpot!"He grinned. He saw a shadow move across some columns, a bit confused. But he ignored it.

"This is too easy!"Sora grinned. He could feel the little one move around, as if a bit in panic. "Hey, easy... everythings fine..."Sora whispered, rubbing his stomach. Ugh, if they're this bad now, I wonder what he or she will be like when he or she start kicking....

 

"A little too easy," Kairi replied. "You'd think there would be some sort of booby traps or something. Not that I'm complaining."

 

Sora looked around the room, jumping slightly as he saw shadows moving in the back of the columps supporting the chamber. "Kairi... I think there might be something in here..."he gulped, Oblivion at the ready. Suddenly some beady yellow eyes pierced through the shadows, snarling to go with the piercing eyes. The shadow came out of hiding, Sora's eyes going wide.

The monster was like the sphinx. The body of a lizard, the head of a lion, and the wings of a bird. The creature roared at the two. Suddenly another creature came out of hiding, it's looks just like the first creature. "Oh great..."Sora muttered.

 

"I guess we spoke too soon," Kairi muttered. She held Destiny's Embrace out towards the monster closest to her. Come on, Kairi, you've been practicing ever since we got that letter... She closed her eyes, and concentrated for a split second. "Water!"

An orb of liquid, glowing blue in the dim light, shot out of the Keyblade, hitting the creature point blank between the eyes. It roared in pain, but it was hardly close to being defeated.

 

Sora was barely able to dodge as the 2nd creature charged at him. "Protect..."he cast a quick protection spell for the sake of the baby before taking Oblivion to the 2nd creature. "Kairi! Lets take on both of them seperately!"he yelled. "Fire!"a fireball shot out of Oblivions tip, strinking the creature in the back. The monster quickly turned around, snarling at Sora.

 

"Right!" Kairi replied, quickly dodging the first's claws. She slashed its side, but she couldn't even make a dent in its scaly hide. "Alright then." You've got a lizard's body, right? And lizards are cold-blooded. "Blizzard!" A spike of ice shot towards the creature, quickly breaking into many, smaller shards. Kairi could see the tips of its feathered wings covered in frost.

 

"Great idea! Blizzard!"Sora shot ice shards at the 2nd. The monster dodged, the ice shards striking the wings. The monster charged towards Sora, striking with its claws. Sora dodged, but gasped in pain as the beasts claw barely grazed against his back. Since Sora's clothes were enchanted nothing ripped, but Sora was in pain. "Ow...That hurt, you know..."he huffed, glad the protect spell prevented further damage.

Sora struck the beasts frozen wings. The wings shattered like glass, the creature roaring out in pain. Suddenly the beasts nostrils flared. The creature opened its mouth, a fire ball forming. "Reflect!"Sora cast a reflect spell as the fireball was shot, the ball hitting one of the columns.

 

"Wind!" Kairi cast an Aero spell, creating a shield of wind around her body. "Just in case you try to do the same to me." Charging forward, she shattered the other's wings. Like the other, it roared. However, seeing how Sora had reflected the other's fire, it narrowed its eyes and roared.

The ground beneath Kairi's feet shook, and it ran towards her, attempting to attack her with its sharp fang. However, the protective wind prevented it from coming into contact, leaving pink marks temporarily around its muzzle.

 

Nexas nodded. " Sean was killed by the Heartless. I am the result."
Eden grimaced, unsure what to do. "Well... I guess I'll get him back. Let's go, I want to leave this place, it's--?" She had put a hand in her pockets to find the keychain of King Mickey's Keyblade. "Mickey's... Reversed Kingdom Key? The hell is this doing here?"

 

"Thunder!"Suddenly a bolt of lightning shot from Oblivion and struck the 2nd beast in the back where its wings used to be. The creature roared, sparks going through its body. "Quake!"while the beast was down, Sora quickly cast the earth spell. The ground shook beneath the creatures feet, knocking the creature to its back. Alright...if I'm right then the underside is it's weak point....

"Take this!"He charged towards the creature and stabbed it in the chest with Oblivion. The creature gave out one final roar before falling limp. The 1st creature saw that the other had fallen, roaring out in anger. "Woo-hoo! I did it!"Sora was triumphat that he killed the creature, not realizing the other was charging at him.

"wait, how the hell did you get that?!"Riku asked, shocked. "Uh-oh..."Valerie frowned.

 

"Ah! Sora, watch out!" Kairi shouted, seeing the remaining creature heading towards the Keyblade Wielder. She cast another Blizzards spell, this time aiming for the ground. The creature slipped and fell before it could make an attack. She slashed at its underbelly, leaving its body limp. She walked over to Sora, her breathing shallow and her heart pounding. "That was close..."

 

"That....was...AWESOME!"Sora was catching his breath. "oof....owowowowow..."His stomach was starting to cramp up, the baby moving around in a panic. After a few deep breaths the cramping stopped, Sora rubbing his stomach. "Well, THAT hurt...."he huffed. The keyhole on the panel started to glow, ready to be sealed. Sora held up Oblivion, a beam of light going into the keyhole to seal it.

 

"From... I got it from... I know someone gave it to me..." Eden growled at herself. The keychain shimmered in her palm, causing the holder to stare at it quizzically more. "Here, Shadow. You take it." She held out the keychain, unwilling to keep it.
Nexas looked to the keychain, then having a sudden memory. He looked to the darkness and clicked his fingers to have it slither towards him.
ooc: She got it from Xert to show what was left of the King.

 

OOC:I know that, but that doesn't mean Riku does!XD
BIC:"What happened...Your Magesty..."Riku frowned, immediately growing concerned. "Oh shoot...how are we getting back up?"Valerie asked, realizing a problem with their escape.

 

"Well, now that that's done, back to the Ship!" Kairi hopped a bit, relieved that they would be able to reunite with the others.

"That's a good question..." Jeffrey said, looking up. "Doesn't seem to be any way to climb."

 

"Maybe the Heartless got to him and he couldn't go through." Eden sighed. She couldn't do more, except still offer the keychain. Nexas was too busy creating something from the darkness and his white hair( the colors), but quickly ran out of white. He frowned, shifting the two colors more. "Nexas?" Eden peeked at him, wondering his idea.
"One minute." he huffed, still working.

 

"Woo!"Sora jumped in triumph. He headed back to the ship, the battle wearing him out. "Great...Now I'm hungry again..."he muttered. This is great. Now we just head to China to find Riku and the others.... "I can still hear you. Could you hurry it up? we didn't think our exit through...."

"We're on our way!" Great.... "Okay, just contacted Sora. he and Kairi just sealed Egypts Keyhole so they're on their way."Riku said. "Woot!"Valerie smiled. Then they noticed Nexas. "Whatcha doin'?"Valerie asked, a bit curious.
