Kingdom Hearts: Struggle for Earth

Riku was waiting for the boat to start heading off when he noticed Eden in her little trance. "Hey...Is she okay?"He looked over to Valerie. "E-chan? Probably...can't really tell anymore."Valerie shrugged. Riku sighed, grabbing at Sora's necklace. Valerie sighed, starting to hum to try and pass the time.

 

The plans detailed attacks that would be lunched on surounding islands then the Darkrans would moblise north until they reached the mainland. Nasele looked over them and made a few minor changes in the plans in order to increase the loss of ennemy troops.

The boat sped into motion moving swiftly down the river. Rick had a tight grip of the wheel as they went.

 

"Weeeeeee~"Valerie ran right in front of the boat as it moved through the river, loving the feeling of the wind through her hair. "And here I thought she'd be scared to death."Riku was watching Valerie's actions, giving a small chuckle. "Riiikuuuu~ You have to try this!"Valerie turned to Riku, grinning. "No thanks."Riku shook his head.

Sora was laying back down, waiting for them to arrive in Egypt. Maybe it's hidden in one of those pyramid thingies Valerie kept telling me about... Lets see... after I seal the keyhole in Egypt, that would be....4 out of the 7 continents? South America, Asia, and Antartica....Sora shivered at the thought of going somewhere so cold...

 

Eden watched these plans with interest, curious of these islands. What are these islands? Better yet, who is she? I feel like I really should know her. She gritted her teeth, only to receive a popping sound from her jaw. It wasn't loud, and it didn't seem to do damage at all. "Odd..." she mumbled.

 

Ellen giggled at Valerie. " When did we become the Titanic?" she quit her game and slid it back into her shoe. She bit her lip, going over the pros and cons of getting up and looking out to sea, or staying where she was. Suddenly the young brunette stood up quickly, turned on her heels and stared the sea. She gripped the railing. "Better then I expected"

 

Gexln calmly knocked on the door. Moments later, a man who looked to be in his 50s, with thinning grey hair, opened the door. "Hello stranger, what can i do for you?" the man greeted in a tone that would've made most people question the man's mental stability. Gexln didn't answer, merely pushing past the man and sitting down in a chair only a short distance from the door. The man slowly walked off into a different room. Noises could be heard of the man sorting through things in what Gexln assumed to be a cupboard. In merely a minute later, the man walked out into the room, carrying a shotgun. "We don't allow strangers to just do what they please in this home" the man said. Gexln stood up. "It would be wise of you to drop that weapon" he stated.

 

"Oh no. Titanic would be if I yelled out the whole 'Im King of the World' crap. I'm just enjoying feeling the wind in my hair."Valerie giggled. "You're worse than Sora with how easily you're amused..."Riku sighed.

 

Jeffrey walked up next to Valerie. His short hair blew sideways from the wind, rather than backwards as long hair would. "You know I have to say this." He paused for a moment and laughed. "We're on a boat!"

 

"If only we were on a horse....." Ellen stared at the sea, looking at the few other boats out there. She looked down, hoping to see fish, but sadly couldn't. " I thought this would be much worse, but its actually nice. I wouldn't mind being a pirate" Ellen then walked over to the others.

 

"Well, at least we're not in space or I'd be going 'nyah' all over the place."Valerie said, unintentionally rhyming. Riku wanted to distract himself from the conversation, looking into a black bag that he had brought along. "Hello... What have we here..."He took out a large brown book, opening it up. Inside was a few papers listing spells that Riku had written down to study. "Oh, there it is... I knew I had packed it..."He smirked, starting to flip through the spell book.

 

The man was struck before he knew what had happened. A fist straight to the man's stomach and he bent over in pain as he dropped the shotgun, followed by an uppercut from Gexln's right fist to knock the man onto his back. Gexln raised his blade, intending to finish the man off there and then. He turned as he heard a scream come from the kitchen. Standing in the doorway was a little girl. She had brown eyes, black hair, and looked to be around ten years old. "Daddy!" she screamed. Gexln took note of the tears in her eyes. "Emotions get you killed. Control them" he said as he stepped over the man and walked out the door.

 

Valerie noticed Riku and his spellbook, rolling her eyes. "Bookwooorm."she teased. Riku really wasn't paying attention. "aha!"He found the details on the ailments determined that the scan spell. Blue is Hypothermia, Purple is poison, Red is a fever... Green, Green... Riku found the details for green, considering how Sora had that green glow when Riku used the scan spell. "What are you looking for in there, anyway?"Valerie asked.

"None of your..."Riku trailed off as he found the details for green. "None of my what? Riku... Riku?"Valerie noticed the look of schock on Riku's face. "Did you find something bad?"She asked, a bit confused. "Not...exactly..."Riku had a nervous tone in his voice. "I was right about green being food poisoning.... But Sora should be feeling better with that by now"Riku said, eyes closed. Valerie shrugged it off, going back to enjoying the wind.

 

Nox reached into his bag and brought out a book. The book had several marked pages. Nox flipped to one near the back and started reading.

Wesely looked at the gauges on the boat seeing how much fuel they had. The boat had plenty but Wesely wasn't sure how far the rivervalley was.

Nasele looked at a map and made drawings of troop movement into the north.

 

"North to where?" Eden growled under he breath, but then her vision turned black a bit, until she blinked again. Back on the boat, sadly. She walked around, sitting by Wesely, watching him a bit. She still pondered the face that kept sparking in her memory with happy, almost loving looks. She sighed, stretching.

 

Sora was looking into his backpack, laying out all of the stuff that was inside to dry off from being in the water.

Riku turned the page to a very interesting looking spell. Mind Connection spell...is it like the connection that Eden and I had when I had her heart...?Riku took the book and went to area to see if he could perform the spell. Maybe this can help find out if Sora's okay...

 

Jeffrey turned his head to Valerie. "So," he began, "what do you think we'll do once we save the Earth. We better get some 'more suitable traveling clothes'!"

 

"Alright! Here's the plan after saving Earth. First, we got to Twilight Town. One-to report to yen Sid about our success so that he can tell the King...or whatever. Two-to get out new traveling clothes. Second-We go to Radiant Garden. Master magic, maybe get some summons. Third, travel freely from world to world and kick heartless butt....and Maaaaybe have some fun in between when we have the time...."Valerie explained. It was only then when she realized that Riku had dissapeared. "Pardon if this sounds familiar... But Hey, where's Riku?"she asked.

 

"I dunno," Jeffrey replied, shrugging. "We might as well search around for him. It's not like we have anything better to do, right?"

 

"Alright then, my dear Watson! The game is afoot!"Valerie chuckled to herself, going off in search of Riku.

Meanwhile Riku was reading the mind connection spell, nodding at the details. This looks complicated...but I think it'll work... "In order to make the connection, you must have an object that the other holds close."Riku took a look at Sora's necklace, pulling it off his neck. "Once the connection has been made, the object will lose any trace of that person. Oh great, so it's a no second chances kind of spell...no problem."he took a deep breath.

Riku read over the spell. "You must-of course I know the person or else I wouldn't be doing the spell. In order for the spell to be successful you require a great deal of concentration...obviously. Draw the diagram and place the object in the center...."Riku took a look at the diagram. Oh boy... I'm going to feel more like I'm performing alchemy than magic....Riku rummaged around his bag, finding a piece of chalk. The things Sora stowed away in my bag...honestly...

Riku drew the diagram on the page of the spell, paying attention to every detail. Once it was finished he placed Sora's crown in the center-he made sure not to make it too large. "Recite the following incantation 3 times. If the spell is successful you will feel an instant feeling of connection to this person...."as Riku looked over the spell, Valerie found her way to where Riku had been hiding. Found yoooouuu.....

"Alarus Lumyra, Mitoro Prytica. Balerus Rhinetuk, Sapphirus Nierre...."Riku started to recite the incantation, Valerie being spooked as the diagram he drew started to glow a bright blue. "Alarus Lumyra, Mitoro Prytica. Balerus Rhinetuk, Sapphirus Nierre."Riku felt weak, considering the level of power the spell was. But he remained focused, speaking clearly but making sure noone else heard him. "Alarus Lumyra, Mitoro Prytica. Balerus Rhinetuk, Sapphirus Nierre!"Suddenly Riku felt a gust of wind blow him backwards, the diagram dissapearing.

Valerie's eyes went bug-eyed at what just happened, while Riku was slowly starting to recover. "Ow..."Riku got back to his feet, looking at Sora's necklace. As he picked up the necklace, he noticed that the metal felt cold-as if the object had never been worn. "What was THAT?!"Riku nearly jumped out of his skin at Valerie's voice, quickly turning around. Bad idea, because he still felt weak from performing such a powerful spell. "Oops.."Valerie squeaked as Riku collapsed to one knee. "How long have you been there?"Riku asked.

"Only as long as you recited that weird...magic mumbo jumbo."Valerie said. Riku groaned in annoyance.
