Kingdom Hearts: Struggle for Earth

"Shadow! I said come!" Eden barked the order, firm. She was not going tohave her teammate leave her behind.

 

Riku obediantly followed, definately in gaurd dog mode. He nodded over to Sora. Sora looked over to Riku and nodded back, keeping up his fight with the heartless. "Alright. Eden and Riku are bringing in the suvivor! Lets finish off the rest of these heartless!"he said. "Roger!"Valerie nodded.

 

"Your friends seem to have every thing under control," Wesely said as they walked. He pulled back the firing mechanism, "I'm not giving up my only leverage here."

 

Eden frowned, walking forward. "Shadow, hold my hand, please." her voice quivered- Fear. Heartless could smell fear, and nobodies could smell loneliness.

 

"Stay back or I shoot," Wesely snaped, "move faster we don't have all day."

 

Riku held in a growl at Wesley, staying calm. He glared over to the Heartless that had strayed over to watching Eden and Wesley.

 

Eden stiffened, walking faster. "Why can't I hold his hand?! Gun to my head, brains might get blown out with one wrong step... Am I not allowed one last pleasure?!" she still slightly reached for Riku's hand. "My entire life is dead..." Tears. And with weakness comes more darkness.

 

Wesely winced he didn't want to do this but he couldn't risk his life on a whim, "how much farther?"

 

Riku wanted to hold Edens hand and comfort her, he could sense the darkness growing. But he had to keep his distance. He noticed the Heartless getting closer and launched a warning fire spell at them. "Hey! Back off!"Sora took it from there and slashed at the Heartless near Eden and Wesley

 

Eden looked a bit farther, the bright candy colors greeted her. " Here, it's our ship." She wanted to run and take off so badly... "Please put the gun away, we're not going to hurt you... Please..."

 

Wesely pulled the trigger. CLICK. Nothing. No bullet no bang. Eden was fine she was safe. The gun had been empty the whole time. Wesely's drop his arm to his side, "sorry. I ran out of bullets awhile ago."

BIC:Riku was furious when he head that it was just an act, but quickly calmed down. At least Eden was safe...

 

Eden did the first thing any sane person would do, flinging herself into Riku. She held him tight, darkness seeping with her tears with the utter negativity. Well, it was better she was sane that one moment then snapping into insanity.

 

"We should go," Wesely said, "it isn't safe here. Can this thing even move?"
Wesely looked over the brightly covered ship. Its wings didn't shout areodynamic and it had two of the smallest rocket engins he'd had ever seen.

 

"If you have any other mode of transportation then please say so."Riku said, embracing Eden. "If not, then you should just get in the gummi ship..."Sora said, the Heartless fleeing the scene. "Its not as bad as it looks. Its roomy, its got weapons in case of aerial attacks...etcetera, etcetera."Valerie said, going ahead into the gummi ship.

 

Eden nodded, still terrified. She looked at Riku, straight in the eye. "Block him. Shadow, keep him from going anywhere." her voice was grim.

 

"Right."Riku nodded. Sora nodded as well, wanting to help.

Eden watched Riku work, her eyes darkened. She took out her combat staff, pointing it at Wesely. "Stay where you are." Her right hand darkened to a black, the staff being charged out of hate and fear.

 

"H-Hey! Eden, careful!"Riku said, alittle shocked. Oh not good...Sora squeaked.

 

Eden stepped closer to Wesely, staff to his neck. She picked out the gun and put it in her pocket. "Now you won't threaten me with it." Her darkness quickly snapped back into her heart, focus regained. However, her right hand remained blackened, a bit like the claws of a Shadow. "How…?"
