Kingdom Hearts: Struggle for Earth

Eden gave an off, distant glare before returning to her window. She stared out in silence, her eyes cold. She thought more, not much else to do. I should talk to Riku, he had an odd look on his face…

 

Wesely turned back on the gas to the pumps and started them up. Gas started to pour out of the hoes onto the ground. Wesley ran back into the gas station and waited. The flames finaly died out and the creatures started to move toards the gas station.

 

"Back!"Sora came back with a bag of weapons. There were swords, daggers, katanas, staffs-both mage staffs and combat staffs, and throwing weapons like shuriken and kunai. "Gimme!"Valerie took the shuriken, kunai, and two of the daggers. Sora chuckled a bit at the snatching. "Alright, get you weapons quick so we can land."Riku said.

 

Jeffrey grabbed a sword but then put it back down right afterwords. "Too heavy!" he said to himself. He picked up a katana and drew it, careful not to hurt anyone. "Much better." He sheathed it and tied it to his belt.

 

"haha! This is gonna be awesome!"Valerie cheered. "Alright. Eden, Andrew-grab yourself a weapon. Monica, you should heal up first before going to fight the heartless."Sora said.

 

Eden stood up, going to get a staff- both Mage and Combat staffs. The Mage one was strapped to her back, the combat one held firmly in her grasp. She twirled it like a baton, it a bit taller then her. This made it awkward to twirl, but she strapped that staff to her as well. She returned again to her window, bitter.

 

"Hey, Eden? Can we talk?"Riku asked. Sora took pilots seat as Riku went over to Eden.

 

Eden nodded, getting up to face Riku. "What is it, Shadow? Am I acting too bratty"

 

"Well, not just that... I couldn't help but notice that...you started showing signs of darkness in your body."Riku said. "Its not a bad thing really...if you know how to control it... But try to keep it like it is now. If the darkness becomes too powerful in your body...you could be consumbed by it...take it by someone who knows what it likes..."he frowned a bit at the memory. Valerie looked over to Riku and Eden, overhearing the conversation.

 

Wesely watched as the creatures came closer. He looked out and then wished he had a better plan. He lit one of the molotovs and threw it out at the creatures. Wesely didn't even look to see the effect. He dove for cover and held his head. The bottle bounced off one of the creatures and landed on the ground. The bottle didn't break but the burning newspaper caught the gasoline on fire. That then led back to the pumps. The pumps exploded in a massive fireball. The blast could be heard for miles. Wesely, ears ringging, layed shaking on the floor of the chip isle.

 

Eden placed a hand over her heart, slighty in shock. Darkness?! Me?! How did that happen?! " Thank you for your concern but the darkness will NOT take a hold of me like it did YOU, Shadow."

 

Monica frowned at the idea of being weaponless for the time being. Still, she understood and made no objection. Even the thought of moving her leg made her cringe in pain.

Kairi simply grinned as everyone chose their weapons before wonder what Riku and Eden were talking about.

 

Eden frowned, thinking it over. The thought of darkness in her heart, growing even, was still a shock. Her eyes watched Riku's with a deep stare, then went to fix her gaze on Kairi, then Sora. If I remain by those with a light, it may cancel out the darkness... Hopefully.

 

"I'm just telling you to be careful...you may listen to the advice or ignore it..."Riku shrugged.

 

Eden frowned, was she to follow this possibly crucial advice? "I... I don't know..."'she placed a hand over her heart. Pride, that was what must have called it. "Of course I get darkness, pride and mental issues, no confidence…" she mumbled, still trying to get over it.

 

Riku looked over to Eden and sighed, hoping she would take the advice on keeping her darkness at bay. He didn't want to lose any survivors to the darkness... he didn't want anyone to turn out like him. "So are we ready to land yet? I don't think the guy can hold up any more..."Sora said.

 

Eden nodded, running off to the door. She took out her combat staff, watching the gas station below. "Riku! You and me are gonna be teaming up! No questions!" she was assertive again, giving Riku a side glance.

 

"Alright."Riku chuckled. "I call dibs on fighting with Sora!"Valerie grinned. "Alright, fine by me."Sora chuckled. "So I guess Jeffrey will be fighting with Kairi then."he smirked.

 

Eden was using a strategy, stay with those who know more about what you don't. She looked at Riku, twirling her combat staff a bit. "You ready, Shadow?"

 

"Duh."Riku summoned Way to Dawn and charged into the heartless. "Alright! Heartless time!"Valerie rushed into the Heartless. "Valerie! Don't just rush in there!"Sora quickly went after Valerie with Oblivion.
