Kingdom Hearts: Struggle for Earth

Valerie looked over to Andrew and Eden. "D'aaaawwww...."she couldn't help herself. Riku watched how motherly Eden was, putting the gummi ship on auto pilot. "Sora, can me and you talk in private?"he asked. "Um...sure?"Sora was alittle confused, but followed Riku into another area of the gummi ship. "Oh those two...probably discussing battle plans! I can't wait to get a weapon and learn some magic! Heartless, beware!"Valerie was alittle excited.

 

Eden nodded, watching Riku. "Shadow, such a shame you can't say a word." She smirked, quite pleased with herself. " So where do you believe the center is? So we can get rid of these thing?"

 

Wesely ran inside he had to act fast before the creatures cam. He went to the stacks of booze and grabed a bottle of vodka. He unscrewed the top and poured some of the contents on his cut, "one for the wound." The he took a gulp of the high proof liquid, "and one for the nerves."

 

"Who knows. I hope that there are more survivors then just us...and I hope Kyo's okay back in the place we hid...I know we're coming back for him, but still."Valerie sighed. "What do you think Riku's hiding? Sora said that Rikus been acting really strict because he's hiding something..."she started to ponder on the situation.

 

"Dunno," Jeffrey replied. "But I think we should have stayed and picked up this 'Kyo' person you're talking about. Who knows what will happen while we're gone."

 

"I don't really care, I just want my home back. I had someone I loved back in my state." Eden was still a bit bitter, staring out the window. " I don't care if you guys call me cruel, I'm following instincts."

 

"I dunno either.... I know we were wasting time by waiting for him, but we shouldn't have just left him there..."Valerie frowned. "Maybe we can convice them to turn back..."she said. Thats when she noticed they weren't back yet. "I know that battle plans are a serious business, but whats taking them so long?"she asked.

 

Wesely looked out the windows to see more creatures coming to his location. "What would Michel Weston do? I've got gas beer lighters newspaper silly putty... Okay I can make napalm and a few IEDs."

Kairi watched as Riku and Sora went to the back for a private conversation, wondering what was going on between the two. They pair was usually on the best of terms and lately Riku had been getting more sour by the minute. It wasn't like it came out of nowhere though. Kairi had noticed the change between the two ever since the three of them had been back at the islands. Riku and Sora would get into more fights than usual, and serious ones too at times. Now, knowing the two could talk alone, it put her a bit at ease. If only she knew what was up with Riku. Somehow his moods always got worse when she was involved.. Kairi gasped, wondering if what she was thinking of could be possible. A small giggle escaper her, it couldn't be..

Monica quickly adjusted her glasses (I think I forgot to mention this in the description ^^; ) and adjusted the few books under her arms, ignoring the marks they had left from being pressed to her skin too long. She paced back and forth in her small apartment, keeping an eye out for any movements of shadows. Her mind still reeling from the new reality that had presented itself, the one with heartless around every corner. Fighting them in games was one thing, running from them in real life was scary. Even scarier when she realized she was trapped and unaware if any other survivors were out there.
Her neighbor to the left was surely gone. She had seen it with her own eyes after she had gotten off work earlier, too beat to even hear her neighbor's yell to get back in the car. When Monica had looked up, the danger manifested in front of her. Her neighbour's heart had already been devoured by the time she had reached the top of the stairs, just in time for the heartless to turn their attention to her. Monica quickly raced to her own apartment, the one she frequently forgot to lock, tears distorting her vision as she thought of the young woman she frequently chatted with about the world and all its splendors.
After that, everything was a whirl of glowing yellow eyes and screams of residents who knew nothing of the new world that had emerged. Monica hardly knew how she survived herself, only that the knowledge of the game had managed to keep her with a heart just a little longer.She clutched the books under her arm tightly, wondering for just how much longer.

 

Eden watched the skies, noticing it was dark and no pleasant twinkle from the far away suns were present. Needless to say, it wasn't pitch black. She noticed the swirling inkyness of clouds, a slit gray hue. "They blocked off the light." She paused, replaying those words. No, heartless weren't that smart, especially only shadows- even the variations. "Guys, come over here! I think you should see this!"

 

Wesely worked fast he dumped the silly putty into a bowl and mixed in large amounts of gasoline. This, after being mixed, would make a goopy spreadable substance capable of burning for a long time. Wesely let it sit as he found the emergancy shut off for the gas in the pumps. This would keep Wesely from blowing himself up. Afterwords he ran to the back of the store and shut off the fuse box. This cut off the alarm but the creatures were still aporching. Wesely draged the bucket of makeshift napalm outside and made a circle around the gas station. Once he was done he looked out at the massive amount of yellow eyes now staring at him.
"I went down down down in a burning ring of fire," Wesely sang and at the word fire he droped a lighter down onto his ring of napalm. In a matter of seconds the gas station was surounded by a thick ring of fire.

 

"Whats the matter?"Valerie joined Eden in looking out the window. "Wow....Creepy..."she didn't notice Sora and Riku coming back in the area, Sora looking alittle fidgety. Riku got back to he pilots chair, noticing Heartless around what looked like an apartment building.He noticed a few dusks starting to appear. "Aw crap...we have Nobodies..."he said. "What?!"Sora looked at the screen, seeing the Dusks. "Oh, man!"he groaned in annoyance.

 

"That looks bad. I think we should go down there and clear them out," Kairi suggested, looking determined to help in the fight. She really hated the fact she hadn't been able to do much before but now, she had a chance to shine as well. "There might be people trapped down there since there are so many dwellings," she added, looking concerned.
With much hesitation, Monica looked out the window as an ominous feeling arose in her. She gasped as she saw the arising Dusks, her body starting to shake again, the books almost falling out of her grip. They would come for her, knowing they wouild sense her. Maybe there were other survivors that could lure them away from her. What was she thinking? That was a coward's way of thinking! Still, she thought as she placed a hand on her right arm, she was scared. These books could do nothing against those dusks except be a nuisance. They would steal everything precious from her and leave her with nothing.

 

"Hang on, we're coming in for a landing!"Riku said, going to land the gummi ship. Sora smiled a bit at Riku, but immediantly started stretching out for the Heartless and Nobodies... "alright! Time to kick some heartless butt!"Sora grinned, excited when the gummi ship landed. "Easy, Sora. Don't just rush into the battle."Riku said. "Okay!"Sora grinned. Riku sighed in annoyance, opening the door. Sora immediantly rushed out and started bashing at the dusks. "H-Hey! Sora!"Riku groaned and headed out of the gummi ship. Valerie couldn't help but chuckle at Sora's behavior.

 

"Let's go!" Kairi yelled as she headed into battle herself. She did pretty well despite having minimal experience in battle. Kairi's spirit kept her constantly moving and determined not to fall behind Riku and Sora.

She had remained glued to the window, frozen by fear. Now, as Monica gazed out at the sea of darkness, light emerged. She gasped and rushed to the door, throwing it open.. to a few heartless who had been waiting at the door. She screamed and threw a book which knocked a heartless on the head. The heartless were distracted and she took the chance to jump over them, trying to get past them.

 

"I'll check the building for survivors. You and Kairi fight off the Heartless!"Riku said. "Right!"Sora nodded, slashing at a shadow. Riku started heading into the apartment building, slashing through any Heartless that got in his way with Way to Dawn.

"Wow!"Valerie watched them fight off the heartless through the window in awe. "So cool...I wish I had a weapon so I could be down there..."she said.

 

Eden watched the dusks, frowning. "The shells are forming. This is much more then normal." She was in almost shock. The heartless and now nobodies. "Why here? Why? What does Earth have that makes it so special? We don't have any Princess of Heart, or anybody strong..."

 

"Who knows why they started attacking Earth..... I mean seriously, Earth isn't that special at all."Valerie sighed.
