"'Love'?" Aden repeated, a bit dumbstruck. Here he was, a Keyblade wielder on an important mission...and this strange old owl pops up from nowhere and tells him to find a mate. "I...guess that kind of thing is important," he noted uncertainly. "But surely not now?"

He gave Raisor a sideways glance at his response to Eon. "...Being someone's loved one is uncomfortable?" he queried, genuinely confused by Raisor's comment. "I think it's rather flattering. Humbling." While all the words Aden thought of were true, none of them quite captured what he was trying to get across. Maybe... Ah!

"It's...nice," he finally amended, satisfied.

 

"What? What?" he asked putting emphasis on the "H."
"Can't say anything about no Ox fellow, but if it's the great prince you're looking for, he'll no doubt be somewhere West," he suggested with his wing. "Probably still hanging around that mischievous bunny... What business do you want with the lad anyways? Friends o' his?"
Before they could respond, he continued rambling. "I don't even know why I bother asking sometimes... today's younger generation can be such a handful, come now, I'll take you there myself." Friend Owl left his branch and flew overhead to guide them.

Elsewhere, Aux appeared in the open field. He browsed around his familiar surroundings, noticing very little change. "Strange. I didn't expect much change, but an extra tree would have been nice. It's as if I never left." He folded his arms and looked to all his surroundings. Same atmosphere when he confronted Bambi. "Fascinating..."
"You!" a booming voice was heard and Aux spun around. A deer with dark fur and an expression to match, stalked the ground menacingly.
"Bambi?" he asked.
"IT'S RONNO!" he yelled angrily.
"Hmm? Ahh yes, the darker one." he said, with not even a thought on him.
"I waited for days on the hill you told me to meet you and you never came!"
"I said to run there, never said anything about meeting you. Not to mention your involvement in the experiment was already proven. I have no use for you now," he turned his back to the deer and began to walk off.
"I hate being used!" the deer charged at Aux as the scene faded to black.

Friend Owl was continuing his guidance, being followed by the other four. He finally came to a stop near a small patch of water, where an adult deer and rabbit were talking. "Well, there they are. Yaaaawwn. Back to bed for me..." he stated before flying off.

 

Aden frowned at the way Raisor so easily dismissed love. Why would he act like that? he wondered. He shrugged it off for the moment; Lars and Raisor had a point in that they needed to find Aux.

He followed Friend Owl in the sky, as waddling would be inefficient and would take too long. Upon reaching the water where Bambi and Thumper stood with their backs to them, Aden thanked Friend Owl for his help...but the owl either didn’t hear or ignored him.

“Bambi?” he queried. “Is that you?”

"Is that you?" Aden asked.
"And who wants to know the small rabbit asked, sniffing about the air. "Say... you guys smell... familiar." Thumper paused and hopped back in shock. "No way..."
"What wrong Thumper?" the deer asked.
He hopped behind the safety of his legs. "It's those guys that keep disappearing!"
"Oh?" Bambi asked calmly. He tilted his head and took a closer look at them. "Well, hey, I guess they are," he chuckled."How can you laugh?! They literately look the same since-" he paused before finishing his sentence.

 

Aden almost asked Thumper "Since when?", but realized it would be incredibly stupid--Bambi and Thumper were both much bigger than they had been, and the price even had antlers growing in, to Aden's surprise.

...

He'd been so focused on just finding the two that he hadn't really thought of what he was supposed to say.

"...I don't think we ever really got introduced properly," Aden laughed awkwardly. "My name is Aden."

"Well it's good to see both new and familiar faces," he smiled. His smile lightly began to fade as he recalled the past events. "When we were young, and you and the man left through that strange hole, I remember feeling very lonely. Even with Thumper beside me, I was still without a home, or anyone to call family." Bambi picked his head back up. "Thankfully the great king of the forest took me under his wing."
"That's Bambi's dad," Thumper added.
"By blood, he is my father. It was my mother's job to raise me, but since her death, he took on the responsibility. And now that time has passed, and the King has moved on, the duty of protecting the forest falls to me." he said proudly. Bambi was still as optimistic as he was in his youth.
