"You know two of them?" AJ was a given with everything that she's made a point to tell him, unless she was including him in the category of knowing. She was pretty invested in knowing more about thier group, especially with how little he's actually said about them as a whole. "In the simplest of terms, we're a mixed bag of people that have somehow managed to find a way to work together."

Mindlessly flipping his coin his thoughts turned to the memories of his master. He still didn't really know where the old man had when to after one day declaring him a keyblade master. He didn’t know why he was thinking so much about the old drunk for the first time in years but it might have been because all the talk of refugees from various fallen worlds that he had heard about throughout the day as he traveled around this place. his free hand traveling to rest at his hip where his last memento form his master rested as he began to reminisce as he waited for the summit to began.

The memory that seemed to constantly come to him as he sat in the assembly hall was one from the first days that he saw his master khan. It had been a sweltering summer day the heat could be felt even in the usually cooler lower levels of the city that Faust found himself in most days.
    —————-
Faust found himself panting out of breath after one of Khan’s more physically oriented training sessions. It was always those lessons that made him almost regret taking the man up on his offer of a keyblade to pay off his debt. Khan on the other hand looked relaxed as always causally drinking from a barrel that he had Faust bring as a ‘payment’ for the lesson. Giving the drunkard a glare Faust could only spit out between gasps “Ya know... when ya said ya would teach me... Ah expected more magical lessons.... then you just whacking me in between turning ma money into booze.”

His complaints just seemed to amuse the drunkard as he laughed out in response replied “think of it as payment for having to start for the basics with you. If you tried harder then maybe you wouldn’t have to be paying me for more lessons.” As he finished his current cup for the small barrel he had sat on Khan began to stretch out a amused smirk on his face as he continued “ if your so worried about the cost of the lessons then I guess I’ll train you into the ground today free of charge”

Quill nodded along as he listened to her, Kaida spoke of her connection to this group they’d formed. All with different driving forces but the same goal, it reminded Quill well of an earlier time in his life. “Huh I can understand fighting for a common goal, even if you all find different reasons. Family, wealth, love, spite…” Quill listened to Kaida’s explanation of her own motivation, of feeling responsible for this effort. Her voice seemed to strain near the end, some aspect of her connection to Aux was strange. “Well you and Aux definitely seem close, it’d be unfortunate to lose a reliable ally like him. But you all seem to have a rocky past with him, based on what I was hearing. Yet you still lean on his strength, your group seems rather close. I suppose that’s why you’re all looking for your missing friend so fervently.” Course Quill could understand, it was just that comrades were short lived in his lifetime. “So, does the Summit interest you all?

"Well SORRY for trying to the right thing!" he snapped at her. "I already passed on where you were, so I thought maybe. JUST MAYBE, I should make sure you were okay and not by yourself. But my entire roll in this group has just been 'the idiot' I guess. Since I've been in this group I've been bitten, slapped, punched, shocked and mocked to no end. So how about cutting me some slack for once, huh?! I'm tired of trying to the positive one. It sucks!"

Aux continued fuming as he tried to calm down.
"My collar didn't shock.." he whispered quietly. He put his hands around his collar and tugged at it to try and see if it would stop him with a shock. It did nothing.
"I think your dad short circuited my collar when he shocked me... It hasn't recharged yet." He looked down at his hands and sighed. He knew the next part was gonna hurt.

He stood up and turned away from any of the cameras.
He looked down at his hand and began to put pressure on of his hands. He held in a very explosive grunt as there was a loud crack from his hand. He dislocated his thumb and slowly slid out of one of the handcuffs and his dampening bracelet before looking to Karina. "Ow..." he groaned through his teeth.

    THE SUMMIT

As everyone took their seats, and old man with grey hair and a captain's uniform approached the pedestal to speak to everyone in the room. "My name is Captain Leonard Cranston. I am the pilot of this fine ship and have lended control of the cockpit to my crew so I could address you here today... Ladies and gentlemen... Thank you for your time and patience during the voyage of the Sanctuary." A small round of applause followed as he held his hand to slowly silence them and continue on. "Through the hard efforts of the men and women on this ship, we are able to bring together and cultivate the necessary resources to help save as many worlds as we can. This colony has only thrived this past your thanks to the people that make it possible... Next month marks the one year anniversary of our departure. But we wouldn't be able to make it this far without the leadership of the following individuals." He looked down at some cue cards. "Ms. Violet Green and her team have created a wonderful garden that allows us to harvest and Dr. Rachel Oliver's research has allowed us to increase production even further to keep everyone well fed and healthy."

A small round of applause followed.
"The ship has been able to run as smoothly as it was by the our head of council; Admiral Terry Hart, head of our economy and the one who has formed the board of leaders you see before you..." A woman with short black hair down to her neck stood up in her Naval uniform and bowed before sitting back down.Applause followed.
"Resident Chief engineer Iso Zisa; who has kept the ship running below deck running in prime condition." Another applause followed as a blue haired woman stood up with a toodler in her arms, waving to everyone with her little girl's hand before sitting back down.
"Dr. Noah Grewal, head of the computer science department whose crew has kept us up to date on all the latest technologies." A dark skinned man with glasses nervously stood up and waved before quickly sitting back down before his applause ened.
"And General Alexander Xares... who has helped us create a defensive stance against any and all threats. His team even recently managed to imprison several of No Heart's accomplices." A resounding applause was heard as the General stood up and saluted before sitting back down.

The Ship's captain cleared his throat before continuing. "This month's summit is here to report that we have rescued and salvaged the people of over 52 worlds this month. We opened up new positions and jobs for those in need of income. More information can be found on level two..." He looked down at his notes. "I open the floor now to the world leaders... and any new questions they may have."

Karina had not expected Aux to snap in such a way. Given what she had been through that day with her family, Karina found herself instinctively flinching and curling away from Aux again. At any moment Karina expected some form of pain to come. It wasn't that she thought that her collar would shock her, but a part in the back of her mind remembered the beatings. It had been what she expected from her father, but had not come, he hadn't lost his cool to that degree yet. There was a good couple moments after Aux stopped yelling that she stayed away from him, before she realized what was really going on. It was just Aux. Aux got as angry as she sometimes did. It shouldn't surprise her that much, but she had not thought her comment would be taken in such a way. Especially when she tried to keep things light by talking about how she stabbed Scott. Though she supposed that was still a heavy subject for the most part, it just was a bit entertaining to think about.

"Calm down Aux. I just...." It was hard Karina realized. She had been rapidly building walls, protecting herself for what she thought was to come. Admitting any feelings was rather difficult. "Aux, I am glad you did." She finally said, looking back towards him. "I think it was a matter of time before I broke completely. I had to watch Kaida's trials, and yours. One more and.... I have never been good at dealing with my anger, and the pain from the collar has been getting to me." She didn't think she would be able to take much more before breaking down and choosing to deal with Scott instead. "Since you have been here talking to me I have felt more... in control I guess. I am grateful for that." Karina told him as she watched him managed to break out of his handcuffs without the collar going off. She didn't think she had the resilience to do what he just did. Her pain tolerance was not that high. "So you think you can get us out of here?" There would be no point in getting off the manacles and bracelet if he didn't. All that would do was alert the guards to a problem. Speaking of that though she was surprised they weren't actively watching the cells. Maybe that would make things a bit more convenient to get out. Once they were out however, she didn't know where they could safely go.

The summit had started as Kel waited for a response and thus he turned his focus turned to it. The captain had stepped forward and gave them both a welcome and a rundown of the situation at hand before one by one addressing the staff. At the start, Kel was clapping when the rest of the crowd did so as well. if not just to go through the motions of being here. When Alexander was mentioned however Kel did not clap for him at all. His hands were firmly planted on his lap as even from this distance he glared at him. "Lying *******" The words had been muttered softly underneath his breath.

Soon the summit started. Then something was said, 'General Alexander Xares... who has helped us create a defensive stance against any and all threats. His team even recently managed to imprison several of No Heart's accomplices.' "Wait what? It was beginning to look like he was right. That Alexander was working with no heart. It kind of made to much sense to say otherwise. If he was right what would be the point? Power was the first thing that cam in mind. He had to resist the temptation to run up there and tell everyone the truth but doing so would cause problems right now. He stayed where he was for the time being.

    Next to kel
'You know two of them?' "Yea you and AJ." Kel soon went on about how they were a mixed bag of peoople. "I hope that is a good thing" she said as a offhanded comment as the summit started.

The old coot of a master Faust had had been the interesting fellow now that he looked back on his memories. The man had alway been seen with a drink not to far from his person. It wasn’t like the man was a horrid drunkard when he had gotten into his cups. In fact Khan seemed to be more lucid and focused in-tune with the arcane mysteries than Faust was currently. Sure the man tended to rant on and on about advice he felt Faust had needed most of which seemed like something you could find form any Luther drunk in a tavern when they would try and say something profound. The occasional helpful peice out weighed to bad not to mention the few times he had gotten him out of trouble with the local guard when a gamble had panned out in his favor had help endured the man to Faust.

Quill started putting the final touches on the plate, it was tough smoothing out the metal plates. Though he couldn’t expect much from materials he ripped from the wall. Yeah, this was the first card that was starting to look alright. Course this was just wasting time but, it made Quill forget his current circumstances. That was enough.

Beuce listened to the opening announcements for the summit. They were pretty standard and well presented. If he hadn't known the truth, he might've actually even believed them. The sanctuary certainly wasn't a bad idea on paper, but not with the people running it. Not with the way it was being operated and stripping its people of any freedom they might have. Beuce stood up and cleared his throat. "I am Beucefilous Alexander of Riven. How-" There was a loud slap of hands being slammed against the rail on the opposite side of the room. Beuce looked over, but he didn't need to. He already knew who it was. The introduction was mostly for her anyway.

"Captain Cranston, I object! The floor was opened to world leaders, was it not?" A thin silver-haired woman called out as she stood up. "This man is no such thing. I was chosen as the representative of Riven, and even if you were to count his faction as a separate world, He has no people to represent! He's the sole survivor!" Beuce glared at her as she looked back to him, wondering how he was alive and here of all places.

"If I'm the sole survivor, then it's all the more reason I should be here. Who else could possibly be such a representative? In any case, what you did to my people isn't the topic we're here to discuss." The man said firmly, not breaking eye contact. The tension between the two could be cut with a knife. She seemed taken aback by his retort to her and his intense glare. Something about him had changed since the last time they'd met. There was a moment of silence, and she sat back into her chair.

"Objection withdrawn. My apologies." She began to watch him with intrigue. Beuce let out a deep breath and turned back to the presiding board. "I have a question for General Xeres. How do you plan to defeat No Heart. Surely you realize that while protecting the worlds is all well and good, it's only a temporary solution. Unless the problem is dealt with at the source, you'd only be delaying the inevitable."

As Faust came out of the remembrance of his past he saw that the summit had already began. He had just caught the tail end of the introductions of what Faust could only guess as the leadership of this refuge world. It had been a little bit of a surprise to see Beuce being a part of the leadership of his world. He hadn’t really thought about the other members of the SOS positions back in their own worlds but he could only guess that the group was a vertebral grab bag of personalities so them coming from different walks of life wasn’t something to hard to believe.

    THE SUMMIT

"A very good question Mr. Alexander," Xares replied. He waved his hand to Orion who approached the inner circle of board members. "Orion Krowley, the last true and loyal member of the order is helping me build an assault on his base of operations..." Orion approached the bench as he cleared his throat.
"While my other order members are currently missing or indiposed, I hope that they would value and appreciate the allies we have made here today. General Xares has been gracious enough to provide his support in finally being rid of this threat. Once he is dealt with. We hope to return all of you back to your worlds... And for those who have lost your worlds, the order will be more than happy to help you find a new one."

A large applause was heard commending the two for their efforts.

"Whatever, I'm over it..." Aux replied. He was still distraught about th whole thing, but with his hands now free, he would hopefully be able to do more than he thought possible.
"Just gimme a sec..." Since the power was out and his collar and the dampening bracelets were removed, he tried to summon his keyblade. Large particles of light summoned the key in his hand. A bright light that the cameras couldn't ignore. A loud blinking red siren alarm went off in the jail cell. Aux, with keyblade in hand, groaned at the new obstacle.

    "Aww crap."

Beuce narrowed his eyes at Krowley. With a man like that in charge, it was no wonder central haven fell. He made a mental note to ask Kaida later if he was always like this, as that probably should've tipped someone off. "You mean to tell me that you plan to assault his base and attack him on his own terms when eleven fully-fledged keyblade masters couldn't defeat him off of them? He won't even be alone. He'll have his allies who are all plenty strong. Likely stronger than any single member of the order. And even if it were just him, you have no idea what he's capable of. You'd be sending your men to their deaths, Mr. Xares. Unless you mean to tell me that's your plan. Just send people at him until he's crushed under the mountain of their bodies?"

Whispers began to circle in the audience, but Orion didn't waver. "Your suspicion is not without cause young man. No Heart is a threat we hadn't accounted for and were thus unprepared to combat. But with swift nd tactical precision, we will be able to subdue, capture, and negate his abilities before he is able to use them. The same tactic that was used against said eleven keyblade masters. No bodies will be piled... no sacrifices made... simply a battle that will end before it begins. And as far as his allies are concerned, we will slowly dwindle and use the same tactic until each one of them has met justice."

The audience seemed to be appeased and calm, lowering their chatter.
Xares stood behind Orion. "I assure you, the team aboard Sanctuary are fine men and women who will keep peace and safety no matter the risk. You are all safe here."

    CONFISCATION ROOM - ELECTRONICS DIVISION

The small USB drive that was confiscated from Vanitas sat in a row of lockers. The locker it was place it began to spark from the inside. Flashes of bright neon light blue neon light emerged as Sho Minamimoto digitized from this locked box. He cracked his neck loudly and stretched his arms.

The two guards in place of the room locked their guns on to him. "How'd you get in here?!" One of them asked.
"Neutralize him!" the other commanded. Before either could take a shot though, Sho raised his arms. Distorted static electricity emerged from his fingerprints, shocking both guards and lifting them off the ground. They cried out in pain before falling to the ground motionless. "Pfft... basic." he scoffed, walking over their bodies.

He looked around to the nearest terminal and walked over to the hub in front of the gate. He pressed a key that had a passcode screen presenting itself. "Password?" Sho chuckled. "Prepare to be iterated..."
Static emerged from his fingers into the consol. The irises in his eyes turned black as green numbers begaan scrolling through his eyes. "Now... let's see your secrets..."

As he said this, the profiles of all SOS members appeared on the screen along with several of their family members.

"Nah I'm not interested in the Summit. I don't particularly care for my real homeworld and the leaders of Central Haven that are here just got me sentenced to life." Kaida replied with a hint of annoyance, but her tone changed a little as she followed with, "Only thing I care about, other than Aux and the other members of the Order, is if brother is alright. I haven't heard any news about him in a while. I..." she looked towards the cell where Aux used to be and admitted, "I already am just assuming the worst."

Huh, I suppose that’s a better reason than most. I mean if you can’t even rely on the people who represent your world, then the summit’s not worth much. But...you seemed to find your own family, your own destiny. I can’t comment much on it, but that’s pretty impressive by my account.” Quill began to grow a bit tired of sitting, taking a stretch by leaning on the back wall. When Kaida began to change her tone, Quill remembered this strong girl was still like many here. Missing a large part of their lives to the encroaching darkness. “Your brother, I’m sorry to hear that. In my experience, as your average prison cell dead beat, keeping that hope alive that he’s alright. That helps.” He stared at the ceiling. “Do you...miss it? Having a place to return to after your travels? I mean, you beat No Heart and save the worlds, but yours is gone.

Kaida thought about the question a for a little while before saying, "Home is... not really a specific place. But rather a space where you feel you can rest and be yourself with no worry." She rubbed her hands a bit to give herself something to do with them and sighed, "But that security of having once place you know you can feel that way... I miss it greatly. But when I'm with my friends it's the closest I've got. Which is the real reason I hate being in this cell for an undetermined amount of time. Cause they might just move on and I can't blame them for that."

Quill felt conflicted by Kaida’s statements, though in a way he understood. “My own world was a place of conflict and death, but it was mine. Home doesn’t have to be where you came from, but it’s a state of being we try to create. You have your friends now, and they have you. It’s a little cheesy but, I guess you're a part of their ‘home’ too. They wouldn’t leave it without a big damn fight. I know, I felt the same way for my homeworld. And I fought for every inch of it I could. I still failed. It’s still gone.” Quill couldn’t help but wallow in his own self-loathing at the end. He could only imagine it wasn’t much worth listening to. God he missed a positive guy like Faust for these situations, Quill had never been an upbeat person. "Either way, try not to focus on the cell too much. You can't see them but the gashes on my walls show how stir crazy you can get ha ha..Hey, shouldn't Aux had finished with his Trial by now?"

The summit seemed quite pointless so far to Faust while he could guess it might be nice to be kept up to date on the apparent war with this not heart individual. All of this seemed to be so far just something that could be addressed on a radio bulletin or propaganda filled newspaper from what he was seeing so far. Although it could just be his bias against most forms of government bureaucracy. He cast his gaze towards the ceiling of the hall as he half listened to the proceedings happening.
