So Kel just waited, arms up behind his head as she did the talking to the nurse. He didn't follow to get his stuff as he didn't have much that they could've taken. Unless for whatever reason they took the necklace he wore. On that thought, Kel took a quick moment to check that. Yup, it was still there. Right where it should've been.

Beuce had said that they would got and see about getting Stratos out. He was not sure how they were going to do that. He was sure something would come up. 'They might revoke that and it'll make everything a whole lot harder for us.' "Well things around us have never been particularly easy. That said we do not need to make things unnecessary so." Why everyone was so keen on finding Karina's dad was beyond him. The likely hood of him just letting them see kairina was next to nothing from what he knew. 'I'm afraid no one from that world has made passage.' The nurse had said. He gave a sigh of relief. If anyone from his home world was here it was not good well from the most part. The nurse left them in the hallway after telling them to gather there things. Lucky for him he already took his things when he went after Beuce. Ananta then showed up. 'What we're not going to do is stand around here and wait until something happens.' He gave some thought on this as Luna said this. From the most part that was how things went from his experience. Things just happened with no reason whats so ever. He turned to Kel remembering a name that came up. With nothing to do but wait for Luna to come back over to them he might as well past the time talking to someone. "So Kel who is Nathan Siegend?" He asked with some curiousness.

Quill’s bewilderment and enthusiasm was dashed quickly, he slumped back against the nearby wall. His expectation was for keyblade masters of great skill that could overcome any situation, but the lack of keyblade didn’t fill Quill with much confidence. I mean, this Aux could be telling the truth, Quill didn’t feel a connection with a keyblade either. But...well he hadn’t for some time. Quill’s face hardened into a grim complexion, he remembered seeing the weapon fall from his hands upon waking and cracking the floor under it. His keyblade was cold and rough, a chipped stone blade and a splintered oak handle. It led him to black out and when he awoke he was here, his keyblade somewhere else on the ship or thrown into the void of space. He didn’t know which. Quill once felt that his keyblade was his one source of freedom from life’s horrors, yet even that was now lost to him.

“Wha- uh yes, I- I caused some problems for the people on the ship. I have some trouble staying calm and there was an incident when I was uh, brought on.” Quill didn’t remember being picked up by a ship at all, but explaining anything from before would likely only sour their moods and bring up his own bad memories. “I might’ve- I mean I did fight some of the staff after there was a problem summoning my keyblade. See this is why I was bewildered, I know why I’m here, but keyblade users being imprisoned doesn’t make sense. We- they’re meant to fight off the evils of the world.” Quill was exasperated at the end of talking this much, a week with nothing but his four walls left him pretty lonely, it was actually nice to talk this much, even if the topics disturbed him. Quill raised a hand to the transparent wall but reminded of his chitin clawed hands, pulled his hand back. Would they accept how his body was deformed or like the guards, consider him a freak. It put Quill off balance.

Kel didn't really think that anyone was going to going to ask about his father given the situation at hand, but it wasn't like he had anything to hid about that. "That would be my dad, why?" He glanced down at the compass that was still pointing towards the section that his father was supposedly waiting for him at. He wasn't sure how he was going to explain everything that he's been up to or how much of it he had been informed of.

When Kel had said it was his dad he was not sure what to think. He did not really mind one way or the other if Kel answered. He just wondered how many families were on the ship. "Well the nurse said His name name when you said yours so I was just wondering who it was." He was not sure what other answer to give Kel.

"That's fine. Apparently he was looking for me, which it's not hard to imagine why when I did just up and leave without telling anyone where I was going." He didn't even say anything about the letter that he'd gotten, part of the reason that he had left anyway. No doubt that would be the first thing that when he got around to speaking with him later. It was odd thinking about how quick he wanted to leave his home back then and now, thanks to what the nurse had told them about this place, he wondered if something had happened in his absence.

The nurse spoke to her while using her tablet. She had explained that Alexander Xares would be coming down for the summit soon. Luna nodded her head before the nurse handed her several pamphlets. She looked at the pamphlets as the nurse explained what they entailed. The nurse smiled and told her to enjoy her stay aboard the Sanctuary. Luna thanked her before walking out to the hallway to rejoin the others.


"Alright so the nurse handed me these pamphlets so everyone will be getting a pamphlet. There should be a layout of the entire colony, which include the barracks, mess halls, and sleeping quarters." She handed out the pamphlets to the others before speaking again. "I assume we'll have to speak to someone else about our rooms for the night. For now, all the nurse told was that Karina's father's name was Alexander Louis Xares. She said he would be heading down for the summit soon." Luna looked at the clock to see how much time was left until said summit. She looked back at the others. "We have about an hour and a half until the summit. We might have to split into two groups. One group can look for Karina and her father and the other group can look around the Sanctuary and see what you can find." Luna looked back at the pamphlet before looking back at everyone else.


Luna thought about how to best split the group up. After pondering for a bit, Luna spoke up. "So this is how we're going to do this. AJ, Ananta, and Kel, you guys will be exploring the Sanctuary. I will be putting Kel will be in charge of your group." Luna looked at the three before continuing. "Beuce and I will see if we can find Karina's father. Let's make sure we're not standing out as much as we can. We don't want to cause any trouble not only for us, but for other people that might be on board. Any questions? Comments? Concerns?" Luna looked at everyone to see if anyone was confused or if they had a problem with her plan.

Kel briefly flipped through the pamphlet handed to him by Luna as she explained her plan. It wasn't a bad one by any mean, more information was always a good thing. "I do have one concern. Given our luck when it comes to being split up, wouldn't it be better to stick together until we know Karina's condition? Then we can use the layout to get a better understanding of this place afterward." Honestly, he'd feel a lot better about looking around once he knew that and as much as he did trust both Beuce and Luna, they really did not have the best of luck when it came to being separated.

“Hm hm, perhaps you know more than I thought. You- you can speak rather bleakly, yet truthfully about…losing control. Perhaps power is not something we can claim to control, we’re simply at the whims of it’s alluring force.” Quill pondered aloud. Strange people, interesting people…

“Hey, Faust was it, I’ll take you up on that bet. If you have friends here I’ll bet they won’t let you guys stay here long. You seem like you guys need another chance to show keyblade masters can redeem themselves. That’d be..wouldn’t that be nice?” Quill curled up his legs to his chest and smiled.

As he waited for Kel to respond and Luna to return he gave some thought on this whole ship thing. There were several things that did not make any sense and one thing that he could not figure out. 'Apparently he was looking for me, which it's not hard to imagine why when I did just up and leave without telling anyone where I was going.' "Must be nice to have someone looking for you. I could disappear and I do not think anyone would care." Soon Luna came to join them. Luna then gave them a pamphlet telling them that it had a map inside. 'For now, all the nurse told was that Karina's father's name was Alexander Louis Xares. She said he would be heading down for the summit soon.' He still wondered why they wander to talk to Alexander. 'We might have to split into two groups. One group can look for Karina and her father and the other group can look around the Sanctuary and see what you can find.' He was not sure what there was to find. Luna then said Kel was in change of the group. Why they need anyone in charge was questionable as they have done well with out one so far. It was nothing against Kel. 'We don't want to cause any trouble not only for us, but for other people that might be on board. Any questions? Comments? Concerns?' 'I do have one concern. Given our luck when it comes to being split up, wouldn't it be better to stick together until we know Karina's condition? Then we can use the layout to get a better understanding of this place afterward.' "I have to agree with Kel on this. I also have several concerns." Before he could say anything ore. They had not made it that far from the med bay like it was almost like they did not move at all. General Xares approached the group in the medical bay with poise and professionalism. 'Excuse me?' He said, tapping Luna on the shoulder. 'Are you princess Luna?' He offered his hand to shake hers. 'My name is General Xares... I'm Karina's father,' he greeted with a warm smile. Well that was easy almost to easy. He did not know if they were extremely lucky or extremely unlucky fro this to happen. Well at least they did not have to worry about splitting up. Something was not right about what was happening. He waited for Luna or anyone to say something as he did not want to step on anyone's toes.

Seeing that Quill was wiling to take him up on a bet Faust gave him a carefree smile. this new guy didn't seem to bad a lot better than most folk. Given the bet he offered made made Faust pause a bit before Nodding to him self and replying form his seated position on the cell floor "Sure, It's usually against my nature bet against the good of others but A bet is no fun if everyone puts it on the same outcome." Giving his arms a stretch as he faced quill with his trademark carefree smile "You know what friend i'll even let you pick the stakes. Man this think about back in the days before i even had a keyblade just me, lady luck, and a set of cards hanging around the docks. you can meet so many different kinds of people if know where to look." Faust reminiscing about his juvenile days as an idea struck him turning to ceiling he asked out to their jailers "Hey mind sending down a set of my cards to help us pass the time?"

Quill chuckled, a rather unfamiliar noise he thought. “Sure, if you guys aren’t sprung before judgement is passed, I'll take your last meal. No sense dying on an empty stomach, and...you don’t notice it when you’re gone anyway right...” Quill felt down for a moment, his cheer was downplayed by the reality that these could be his final moments of some freedom. “But if you guys are freed, suppose I’ll owe you guys a favor. Anything you need, I’ll do within my power. Consider it your own genie’s wish, for all that amounts to.”

Faust when on with his surprisingly upbeat attitude, perhaps Quill could learn something about positivity from that. Quill picked up some of the metal scraps that in his rampage a couple days ago, an inkling of a nice idea came to mind. Taking his claws and digging into a bent metal wall plate, Quill began pulling on the lining of the wall. Electric shocks went across his body, his body and blood burnt. With a quick yank, palm sided rectangular panels ripped out. Quill’s breath was intense but the shocks were something he got used to. He calmed as he began carving crude sketches of playing card imagery upon the plates.

Ananta did as she was instructed and gathered her belongings. She then returned to the group and heard Luna's further instructions. The pamphlet seemed to be chock full of information for them and Ananta wanted to read it. Luna separated the group and she was a little saddened she was told to explore the ship. Being asked for any of their questions, Ananta did try to speak. "We shouldn't split up...it'd be a bad ide-" she was cut off by the deeper voice of an older gentleman. He approached and seemed to already know Luna. He announced his name and Ananta already felt butterflies in her chest. This was the man that Karina despised with every fiber of her being. Ananta was uneasy around him, knowing how terrible of a man she had been lead to believe he was.

"Sorry, sir, but may I ask how you know our names already?" she asked, stepping forward to stand next to Luna. "And if I may ask, perhaps you can lead us to our friend, Karina?"

 

The group looked over the pamphlet. Luna opened the floor to everyone if they had any concerns or comments. Kel then spoke up, voicing a concern he had. He was worried about splitting up before they knew how Karina was doing. Luna nodded her head as she put her thumb under her chin while her other fingers covered her mouth, pondering about some other options the group could pursue. "Right. I understand that completely. Given past experiences, it would be best if we stick together but-" Before Luna could explain her decision any further, she felt someone tapped her shoulder. She turned around to see a man standing behind her.


"Are you Princess Luna?" Luna was a bit hesitant to answer, since she didn't think nobody would know about her homeworld. After a few moments, she answered the man's question. "Yes, Yes I am. May I ask who you are?" The man offered his hand to shake with hers. He then introduced himself as General Xares, Karina's father. Luna widened for a quick moment before returning to her normal expression. He had a smile plastered on his face but based on past experiences in Luna's life as a royal, she was unsure if that smile was genuine. She returned the smile back with one of her own. Before she could shake the man's hand, Ananta decided to speak up.


She asked the General how he knew Luna's name. She then proceeded to ask if they could lead the group to Karina. Luna put a hand on Ananta's shoulder and turned to her. "Now now, we've only just met the General. We shouldn't ask so many questions when we have only just met." Luna kept her pseudo smile as she spoke to Ananta, hoping Ananta would understand the Princess' hidden message as not to make them look a bit suspicious. Luna turned back to the General and shook his hand. "My apologies, General. It's very nice to meet you." She kept up her smile as she placed her hand back at her side. "May I just say, your daughter is an amazing warrior! I'm sure you're very proud of her." Luna smiled as she complimented Karina to start off their conversation. She put her hands behind her back and lifted her left hand to motioning to the others to wait.
