As they reached the fork in the road, Kaida let out a sigh in disappointment and said, "Well then, a fork in the road is a problem. And I'm sure we're in a rush at this point." Kaida pointed to the left and looked at Ananta and said, "You go that way, I'll go this way. Kay?" she smiled without waiting for an answer before heading down the path and yelled back, "If it's a dead end I'll run on back to catch up, alright?" she didn't think this was gonna be a big deal or anything so she didn't bother to tell her to be careful or stay safe. But that could have also been an 8 year old mentality at that rate.

Friends was a really odd way of putting them. Some of them he did not know that long. Of the ones on this world Faust was the newest member. "Kaida is free spirited, and Faust likes puns. Stratos keeps to himself for the most part." He did not know what else to say. At that moment he wondered how the others were doing and if they found anything. For the most part the path he took was not doing anything but bending every once and awhile not branching path yet. He just watch Pan float along the path. "So what you want to do once we find the treasure?" Pan asked.

he started to flip a small gold and sliver coin. “it was only really by chance that I found my drive in magic” small sparks dancing along his arms as if to demonstrate a point “to really get out there and see the sights worth seeing ya know. Just stumbled across some passing magician one day he wasn’t to good of one when I look back on it now. But just seeing him preform just made something click.” As he continued on the coin that he was tossing was coated in electrical energy. It froze in the airspining slightly as jolting archs danced across the surface. “Hell I wound’t have even found the old man if wasn’t for her help.”

Kaida was more than alarmed when she could tell the effects of some kind of time magic were on and she looked around for the source before she heard them begin to speak. She turned towards them just as soon as they were making the comment about her being given something rather than earning it. After a moments pause Kaida blinked and held her hands up in confusion and said, "I'm sorry, am I supposed to know you from somewhere? You sound like the kind of guy who leaves a bad review of a movie before even seeing it."

Kaida wasn't expecting to be thrown to the ground as suddenly as she was, but she did prep for anything when time had frozen, so her flying back was maintained a little bit. After they knelt down near her, Kaida got herself up to at least be on her feet even if she wasn't standing yet and she replied, "If that's what you think of me, you don't know me at all." she looked him straight in the eyes and said with as much overconfidence as she could muster, "So... which one of Sora's wannabes am I dealing with today? Yuudai? Aki? No no no..." she paused a second and mumbled a couple of other names under her breath before snapping her fingers and pointing towards him, "It's the one Sora kept accidentally calling me at first. Kaiso? Taizo? Kaizo! Kaizo's gotta be the one, what an unfortunate close name."

Kaida struggled to get out of his grasp when he had her by the collar and didn't manage to until he released her which made her cough. She rubbed her neck and as he asked about her ability to beat him, she knew she would lose. And she wasn't necessarily loathed to admit it either. She knew she was better with others around her anyway. Kaida stood up and stood at the defensive and said, "I know you could beat me, the question is why would you seemingly stoop so low? Since that's the way you're talking about me. You think Sora would be okay with you running around and beating me up when Central Haven is in the state it's in?!"

"Right..." Steel muttered as Gilgamesh fled into inter-space carrying a hypocritical squid on his head. "I suppose it's time for clean up again." He rolled his eyes as the pirates of the Dutchman began to surround them. Not waiting for the enemy to take the initiative, he rushed into the crowd as he summoned his weapon. Ducking under the swipe of a sword, he bashed one of the monstrous pirates in the stomach and knocked the wind out of them. He then brought his the hilt of his weapon up to his opponents face. While the creature clutched at its pained nose, Steel grabbed it by the neck and sent out the pulsing electrical tendrils of a Thundaga spell. The surprisingly pleasant smell of cooked seafood emanated from his writhing victim, and Steel felt both simultaneously disgusted... and like he could go for some sushi.

"So how about that Captain Sparrow?" Steel shouted to his comrades as he chose another victim and ran to behead them. "Real piece of work, leaving us to fight a random horde... " A carcinoid head rolled. "Like always." He muttered.

“old man, huh.” Zidane questioned as they walked along the winding tunnel inside of “This guy good in fight? or was just good at making those sparks”

“he could hold his own in scrape if that’s what your asking” Faust replied back thinking on the days he spent tranning under his master khan. “ well at least when drinking booze like a fish dose water. Rarely saw him sober, the old coot had me running out and getting him what called a ‘lesson fee’ before each time we sparred or trained”

“lesson fee?” Zidane asked “what did the guy ask for?”

“Ya could probably guess” Faust shot back off handedly. After giving Zidane a few seconds to think over an answer before he saw the kid’s face deep in thought. He decided to cut to chase and recite the main ground rule khan had given him imitating the man’s gruff drunken slur quite poorly as he did so.. “Any kinda strong drink before an lesson and fine wine or ale before I’ll teach ya a technique of mine” coughing slightly as the strain took to try wasn’t small given his higher pitch than usual voce “ it wasn’t hard really to get what he asked for there was a ton of the stuff down at the dock no one noticed if I skimmed a bottle or two out of a crate of them”

“what really? The more we talk the more I’m starting to like ya” Zidane replied back boasting slightly as he did so “ You’re not as great as me but you have some good points”

He was not sure what he wanted to do after this. "Part of me wants to go back home but the other park knows that i might not see some of these people again. I guess I will go wherever the path takes me." It was hard to say what would and would not happen. "I am sure you are going to continue to go after hook." "Yea making the codfish's life hard is so much fun so where did you learn how to fight," Pan asked.

Kaida rolled her eyes at him and said, "Yeah, cause I'm totally intimidated by someone that the order didn't think was good enough over a kid who wasn't a master. Sure, you could beat me one on one, but that doesn't mean you'll ever be superior to me." Kaida stood up and shifted quickly. As she did, she summoned out her keyblade as fast as she possibly could and used Hyperjump to slash straight into him, without giving him time to process what she did before she readied up to cast or attack him with something else.

Not know what to say at first he just continued to walk. He then stopped a few few from where he was. "It is a bit complex. I am more or less self self taught. Sure I took some lessons but it was not to last. Someone back how taught some some thing but it was always about out thinking the person who wanted to fight then to fight. Why fight if you don't have to." Aldwin was the one who helped him he always made it seem like it was the last resort too. "I was not taught to fight using a weapon it just kinda of happened." Maybe that if he was better prepared about fighting Aldwin would be alive he thought to himself. Would he be here tho? He was lost in thought for a moment. "It is..." his voice trailed off.

It wasn’t that interesting if they only talked about him “What about ya? that pan boosted about ya being the best one in a brawl with those baldes of yours.”

“Yeah im the best fighter here of the lost boys as you can clearly tell bey a glance no doubt” Zidane struck a pose with his swords readied as it fight an enemy at any moment as to prove a point “man I cant wait till we find this treasure to gold jewels in it will only be made better when I wipe the floor with you afterwards.”

Don’t make me laugh” Faust shot back halting slightly to get into the boy’s face thier heads lilumiunated by a pair of natrual spotlights made form small tunnels that burrowed throught the ceiling “What'cha think is gonna happen is entirety different then how its gonna play out”

“really now, you can spark all you want sparky.” Zidane remarked back butting heads with faust as he did so “But I’ll take you down before you even know what hit you. I might not understand half the stuff that comes out of your mouth but I don’t need to take ya down”

"It is what?" Pan asked. "You seem to be thinking about something." "Fighting has always been about defending myself but now it is more then that. It is about protecting the people around me too. Not that has help all that much." "Nah it about having fun all the time." Pan was so into not really caring about anything but just being in the moment. It must be nice he thought to himself. "So Zidane is into sword fighting?" "You could say that." He looked around it was somewhat peaceful in the cave. The water dripped ever so often and he figured that he should start moving again. "So Zidane is our best fighter who is yours?"
