Kaida smiled a bit watching the trio giggling together and messing around... but it made her heart hurt too and she couldn't place why and a tear dripped down her face. She quickly rubbed it away before trying to hide behind a bit of a smile. She looked over towards everyone else but the first thing she did was say, "Beuce, I'm glad your keyblade wasn't accidentally destroyed like I thought it was when I used it to jaws of life a giant crab that tried to eat me cause I wasn't shiny enough to be considered a worthwhile object to keep." she paused after a long moment and said, "That... sounded hilarious when I actually said it out loud." Kaida felt more tears coming down and she was full on crying at a certain point and said, "Man that's so stupid... why... ah..." Kaida covered her face when she realized how the tears were pouring out and admitted, "Sorry I'm just... I'm so glad you are all okay... I'm so lame..."

The cage popped open and Pinocchio came flying out. which soon Aux went over to save. Soon Sora, Riku and Kairi were together once more. The top priority right now was to find a way out of here and a safe place for Kairi, Sora and Riku. The only problem was that they could be thousands of feet under water. They also did not have a boat. Everyone was together and he wondered how long that would last. He knew that it could not last forever that said he want this group to stay together. Sora, Riku and Kairi were soon talking about Kairi having a keyblade. That would just make her more of a target he thought to himself. At this moment he let his keyblade disappear as he looked out to the others. Riku then said, 'I'll always be stronger. But I'll never rely on darkness as much as I would on my friends. I mean... look what happened to that girl,' he motioned to Karina. 'That kinda stuff will never happen as long as you two are around.' Darkness was strange and how Riku seemed to know how it worked was interesting. He looked over to Kaida who just said, 'I'm so glad you are all okay...' "It is cool that you know everyone so well", he said offhandedly. It was at this moment that he realized that he did not know most of the people here all that well. Sadness came onto him. Everyone seemed to know each other so well as they should because he had no idea how long everyone knew each other before he came along. For all he knew it could have been years. Turning to Luna the person he talked to once sense he joined this group and noticed the crown on her head. Now that he thought about it it seemed odd that he never really went to the same world as her. "Neat crown. Seems interesting. I know Beuce gave it to you. Where did you get it?" As he waited for an anser he looked around the group and just watched how Sora, Riku and Kairi could just mess around.

Kel watched as the defeated heartless spat out their respective hostages before dissipating. This elected a sigh of relief from him as his own keyblade faded away in a flash of light. "That help any?" With an outstretched hand Kel offered to help Karina, in anyway he could at least. The fight was over so that darkness should hopefully go away soon.

Kel couldn't say that he was surprised by how Karina had reacted to his question, partly cause he knew that it wouldn't be the most helpful of things to say in this situation, but he still felt like he should say something. Even if he wasn't sure what exactly to do right now. He only looked at Aux as he walked over and berated Karina. Least that what he thought since it didn't seem like that at first, it was only what he had said at the end that made it seem more like a scolding. Either way, with folded arms he said: "Least you haven't tried to kill us with darkness as he did." He wasn't still holding it against him, but from where he stood she was doing better than he was in that regard. "Still at the risk of sounding like an idiot again, I'll say that you're strong enough to win with or without darkness. Instead of that sink or swim mentality that Aux had, face it head on and make it submit to you."

 

Beuce gave a breath of relief after the fight was over and he reverted back to his normal outfit. Watching the kids do their thing was a little heartwarming. Seeing a younger generation of fresh keyblade wielders really set in the idea that they were masters now. They weren't the ones hiding behind stronger people anymore. They were the stronger people protecting ones like them. Beuce's expression darkened momentarily as he once again remembered the weight of responsibility that rested on their shoulders. They were about the only thing in No Heart's way anymore, and they still had a long way to go.

Before Beuce could internally brood about weighty topics, Kaida approached him. His expression softened the moment he turned to face her as she told him the story of how she'd broken his keyblade fending off a giant crab because she wasn't...shiny enough? "Oh is THAT what happened to it? I had to go through this whole big thing to get it reforged and everything. Took me forever." He joked. "And what does he mean you aren't shiny enough? You're like...literally the most reflective person I know." It was then that she started to let tears of relief stream down her face. "Ah geez..." He said as she apologized. "Nah that's not true." The man told her reassuringly. "You're just the right amount of lame." He rustled the much shorter girl's hair as he teaser her. A moment passed before he pulled Kaida in for a brief hug. "I'm glad you're all okay too." He said before letting go of her and clearing his throat. "And that's all the lame you'll be getting out of Beucefilous Alexander today. I have the cool guy image to keep up an all."​

Whether it was the lingering darkness still leaking off of her, the look she had given him or a combination of both said look had left Kel relatively shocked. He'd known her long enough to know that she had a fair amount of baggage and has seen some of her worse moments. This seemed different though and as she pushed herself up to her feet, and walked past him, leaving him there as he tried to ponder on what to do. Please don't kill me for this Having found some form of answer Kel moved to catch up to Karina and promptly gave her a hug. It was brief but long enough to which he hoped that had some sort of positive effect. He still felt awkward about it as the faint pink tint to his cheeks implied. "Sorry, kinda did the first thing that came to mind." With a nervous chuckle, awaiting however Karina would react.

 

As the group began to wind down form the battle with the heartless that had held two of the kids hostage Faust began to take stock of the group around him. the kids they were sent to protect were fine, the boy finding his own way to save his damsel a satisfying point in the kid's story for Faust to take his leave from. While there were a few faces of those that he had meet before around him the most interesting sight was the wolf man that he had fight with earlier. During the fight Faust was a little to busy to properly find out about what He saw as quite the unique member of the group.

After quickly giving himself a once over straightening out various small pieces of his attire that had shifted out of place during the fight like his bolo tie and his white dress shirt leaving his hair in it's usual messy state. He approached the interesting party member with a carefree smile and wave "yo, Don't think we have been properly introduced I am Faust traveling magician and keyblade haver. It is always great to meet you senor members of this group" Faust greeted extending out an hand to the wolfman.

 

Kaida let out a bit of a giggle in the middle of tears and said, "Oh yeah? Where'd ya get it reforged? A whale known smithy?" she hugged him back just as long as he hugged her. When she stopped she rubbed her eyes and said, "Yeah sure. Cool guy image. Definitely the priority... heh." in an obvious tease as she looked over to the others and said, "So it seems we have a lot more people than I thought... although Aislinn doesn't seem to be anywhere... who's faces don't I know..." she looked and pointed towards Faust and stared at Castur a moment before saying at a whisper, "He was the one with Karina before... then there's Marx who's new... so 3... then Karina probably needs catching up if she hasn't already so... this should be fine. Okay." Kaida clapped her hands together as the tears finally seemed to clear up and she said, "Before anything happens that splits us up again, we should try to convene and share notes?" she looked specifically over at Beuce because she knew at least he was listening. And maybe anyone else in the area heard her too, since she didn't say the last sentence at a low volume or anything.

 

Finally the battle was over, and Marx spun his blade until it disappeared. Giving a sigh of relief he eventually sat down and took a breather. Seeing that Sora, Riku and Kairi were together at last made him remind of his siblings and him. Which led him to feel a warmth inside of his chest when seeing Kaida and made his way over to see what was wrong, but sadly his chance to make one of his friends feel better was taken from one of the other members who knew her. This made sadened him a little and turned away to lean on the wall - whale - whatever it was. Pulling out the conjoined crystal he observed his reflection to see a boy hiding in a mask with a hood. Marx was trapped by his own scars. Both physically and mentally. “As if I could fit in...” Muttering to himself while he closed his eyes.​
