Kaida dusted a bit of the shavings off of the spot she had already carved and she continued her carving ass she answered, "The world I was born on was mostly forest with a couple of very large buttes. Oh also it was always night time." she stopped her carving a moment to ponder what she wanted to make exactly. She grabbed a pencil out of her bag and started marking different parts of the wood while her position changed more cross legged, "Politics wise it was pretty peaceful I suppose. I didn't like it. They wanted me to be something I was good at rather than something I wanted to be." the blonde looked towards AJ and smiled, "So I left it. Though I guess if I think about it, it was a beautiful world. But after 14 years of living in only nighttime the daytime just kind of ends up more exciting."

Marx started to listen on what everyone answered to AJ’s question; their homeworld. The masked boy was thinking for a while as the others spoke, he’d rather not talk about it but at the same time he longed for the days when everything was right. “My world... was a sheer thing of beauty. It was called Altureon; The Great Tree. First glance it may not seem much but on the surface, oh it was magnificent. I grew up on the Islands of Wakoaki so I always traveled from time to time with my family. Sometimes we traveled to the other branches like the Mountain Civilizations of Halry, to the Neverending Colonies of Verjoe by the base of the trunk and last the Capital City of Ramid in the canopy of the tree. Flora and Fauna were both natural and mythical, many of us respected their wildlife while being able to cope with our own technological cities and expansions. And last the heart of the world was known as the Silica Pearl; but in most cultures it was also called The Mother Stone, it gives all life to the world. If it were to be corrupted, broken or missing, who knows what would happen.” Feeling he’s said enough, Marx sat down for a second and looked at his book for a bit. Not writing, just thinking about some of the visions.​

Kel had said that there was a giant wall in his homeworld. Part of him wondered why but he was not about to pry. When kaida said that her homeworld was always night he did not know what to say. What a strange world to have been. "You should be what you want to be. Not what someone tells you to be." It turned out she left because of how dark it was. It must have been hard to always be in the dark. His homeworld was not all that different, sure there was light but because everyone was aways thinking about themselves and not about others it hard to be friends with anyone. The one thing that bothered him was what he would do after all this was over. He was not sure he wanted to go back to his homeworld bit he was not sure where else he would go. At this point Marx started talking about his homeworld. All the names Marx said of place he been on his homeworld. He sat there not saying much else looking at the view of the ocean trying to relax a bit before they set off.

He sat back and tried to relax but was unable to do so. The raft had not set off yet but he was sure it would be only a manner of time. He looked out to the ocean and wondered were the other were at and what they might be up to. He turned he attention to kaida and took a glance at what she was making. There wasn't much to do for the time being. That was until they set off.

Giving a nod of affirmation to the others and seeing that everyone was on, Marx stretched a bit and loosened up. “Here we go...” He told himself as the boy started to pushed the raft into the water. Once it started to go farther into the ocean, he jumped onto the vessel and opened the sail as the wind pushed them out to sea. Yelling out with pride he said, “And we’re off!” The first few waves were a little bumpy due to them just setting off but later on it got smoother as they went farther and farther away from Te Fiti. Marx waved his goodbye to the island and continued to Man the raft with his knowledge of sailing guiding the way.

When the boat actually started moving she started curling up a little more again. It wasn't that she was afraid of the water itself, it was just that she was afraid she'd fall in and sink straight down. The blonde continued whittling away at her current project before she stopped a while and looked around the boat a minute before having her eyes get set on Kel as she asked, "Hey Kel... you're close to Luna right? Well, at least closer than I am. If I were to pick an animal that seemed to just... fit her, what do you think it would be? I keep thinking about a swan but... I just wanted to know if you had any better ideas." she didn't really think to ask AJ cause she had no idea whether or not he knew Luna very well, but she had enough evidence to think Kel probably did.

With them finally setting off, Kel's attention stayed on the waves for a bit, making sure that nothing drastic suddenly happened to the waves that they were sailing on. That said the ocean in this world seemed to have a mind of its own, so hopefully, a freak storm wouldn't happen to them. Hearing his name, he blinked then looked towards Kaida. "Hmm." Kel pondered for a bit as to what animal would fit Luna. He could see a swan, but with the thought he had been giving it, another animal came to mind. "A dove seems like a good fit for her."

The boat had started off rocky but seemed to level off as they went. With Kaida still working on the whittling the question up on what animal world fit Luna. He was not sure how to answer. The only thing he could think of was something that was close to light. That was when kel had said something about dove. It kida fit. "Something to do with light," he said offhandedly. The other seemed to be talking each other which was fine. While they were doing that he decided to pull out his bag and get something in there. He wondered what might be in the bag because he never looked through the the whole thing. He knew of a few things that were in there. A rope, some change of clothes, some food, a Amulet that had a picture of three people inside, he put the picture there after he tossed the silver disc that was inside into a well on his homeworld. He reached inside the bag a pulled out a book. He flip through it quickly and put it back. Nothing seemed to have changed so he gave up and looked out to the ocean once more.

He breathed in the sweet salty breeze of the ocean while looking around and manning the raft. Every so often he would make a few adjustments to the sail, turning the mast, rotating the rudder a few times, you name it; he was all over on this. But then Marx brought his attention to the others who were talking about what animals their friends would be like. To be honest; there is a part of him that resembles a wolf, but he feels like something else. Pondering a for a bit about what he would be most like besides a wolf, while still resembling the Twilight Master he is. While working he asked to the group, “Well... What’s your friend like?” Speaking while he was working, Marx didn’t mind sailing the raft, in fact he enjoys it so much he made himself do it.

He sat back and leaned back when Marx asked what Luna was like. "Well I do not know her all that well but she seems friendly enough. Most of the group is. There is just a few that if you get on there bad side then it is all over." Everything seemed peaceful right now. "Some force seems to be keeping us all apart. Members of SOS are strong and it is almost like this force does not want us together." He did not know what else to say to Marx so just sat there waiting for the others to put in there input.

Ignis watched as Rourke took her finishing hits and then blew up into a million shards. It seemed a little flashy for a guy like that, but at least he was finally gone. Some Atlanteans came down along with Laguna and some of the other members of Rourke's crew who didn't follow along with him at the end. They had mentioned capturing the rest of Rourke's men that still followed him, and Ignis clapped her hands together.
"Well, like what Castur said, it sounds like we're pretty much done here. Everyone's all rounded up and we got to beat up another bad guy." At that point she scratched her head with a thought passing through her head. "Although knowing our history, the same thing is just going to happen in the next place. Anyone else feel like we're in a never ending loop at the moment?"

When AJ mentioned the fact that all of them get split up, it made the masked boy sad, but it does make sense. If there are multiple people in one group the best idea for them was to do more tasks at once. But then Marx felt something wrong, so he quickly put his hand into the water: it was rapidly moving. Then by surprise he turned to see the dark shadow that had fallen mysteriously on their vessel and looking at an enormous mouth eating them. “Hang on!” He said, but before he could grab something he and everyone fell off and down the mouth.

When the boy came to, he shook his head slightly while fixing his mask. Feeling he had a massive headache Marx got up slowly while drying himself off and talking aloud, “I don’t mind the water at all, but please let this stop. I’d rather do it intentionally.” Helping Stratos and Kaida up, he brought his attention to the new girl and the old man. “We’re all ok, luckily no one was injured really. But who are you? And where are we? The boy said to their visitors as he checked his pockets and book to make sure they weren’t broken or damaged.
